Fannie Bay Kebab and nepali food house (DADA DI) in Darwin

Good deal for the price. I love their chips. If you love potatos then Aloo Jeera is also a good spicy option.Mixed kebab is nice and tasty but sometimes too salty.Their rice options are good, but I did not enjoy the noodle options.

I went to eat today but I promise I will never go again. If you can’t sell authentic Nepali food please stop making joke of our Foods. I strongly suggest to discard this restaurant even if your are starving.

After 3 very average kebabs in Darwin recently I was ready to give up… until I tried one from here. Just a standard chicken with the lot but it was bloody good… loaded with chicken and they didn’t skimp on the rest of the ingredients. Will definitely return

Ordered large size felafel kebab. Very disappointed. Ive had them from here previously and Im pretty sure I only got given a small sized kebab even though paid for large. Felafels were over microwaved, so hard as. Very soggy breads, even though freshly made - so my guess is too much thin liquid/sauces and not toasted enough. Not a happy customer. :(

Never order from these people. I ordered just momos and after 1and half hour, i called them and i got this answer, we just saw ur order .totally 000 star and never order. After that i was angry and i got the response, no worries. Wow 👏 unbelievable.

On holidays from Sydney and happened across this place at lunch time, really good kebab, highly recommend

Momos were over cooked and sauce was too sour. Saw fly sitting on salads. Unhygienic and poor service. Wont recommend this restaurant to anyone. 🤮🤮

Bought a fish special; fish, prawns, squid, chips and salad. Very big serve, but it was all OVER cooked. Chips were dry and hard. Went back a second time, still over cooked. Not tasty.

I love their falafel kababs. They have great fresh food at a reasonable price.

Just ordered aalu and fry rice today an hour ago it was so blend no taste, rice was like cooked days ago so as regular customer I want to tell you guys need to improve your food and I am disappointed many times now. Few days back ordered the choila but it was like fry meat and same with chowmein. I think the owner makes the good food but if other people make it the taste is totally different and not good.

Everytime I go there I always have issues with my meals but really disappointed with the meal I got today. Even after the lady asked me if I wanted my meal spicy I said yes only for me to get home and the meal is both tasteless and not even spicy. Never going back there.

Really disappointed with the food we had last time. Its used to be good but now a days taste was drastically changed. We ordered jhol momo and it takes ages to come and taste was really horrible. The sauce taste as if it was prepared a month ago. Never going back again.

Kebab was room temperature and meat was dry. I don’t think I’ll be coming back. Disappointing because there are all these other amazing reviews.

I had take away food from here, chicken chilli and taas was ok but steam momo has horrible taste. One of the worst momo I ever had.

Best food in the Northern Territory, try the biryani chicken rice, wow, delicious.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Darwin fanny bay. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Darwin Northern territory. Highly recommend!

Cold chips. Got them replaced with hot ones but smaller serve. Kebab was bland in flavour and small. Turkish food should be made by Turkish people. Rip off price. Never again.

I have eaten almost all the dishes on the menu. I must say I am a big fan of your biryani, fried rice varieties, Momos and chilli chicken.I did not like the taste of choila set and samosa chat. It might be just my personal opinion. Your prices are nominal. I will keep coming to your place regularly. Thanks for the wonderful service.

Foods are priced very reasonably but the khaja set i ordered was just terrible. The meat was too tough with taste comes nothing close to the authentic taste. The chutney it came with was also nothing special. The lassi we ordered were nice. I will definitely come back and try other foods might have better experience on next visit.

Love the vibe big friendly smiles from the Ladies in the Kitchen plenty of tables the cricket was on the TV AUSTRALIA dominating India. Got a chicken kebab the chicken was amazing and even managed to get a park in Fanny Bay right outside the shop 🙂

Food was really good and prepared in very less time even though they were really busy today, front staff was very polite and attentive, overall 5 star to this place according to thier setup and food style...... will come back sure.. thank you

I am really disappointed with the quality of food and the service was slow. I understand they are busy, but they could of warned us that it would be a 30minuite wait. The Nepalese food is horrible. The kebabs are not the same quality as they were 5 years ago. Whoever the new owners are, im sorry, but the previous owners were much better.

Kebab lamb was awesome but....... the alfoil wrap is very hard to peel off the wrap bread, it took ages and I still ate some of it. Get rid of that idea and I will go back.

Good portion for what you pay for, well it’s not even expensive at all. and they taste nice! A variety of drinks to choose from. Definitely recommended!

Chili veg dumpling very good but to bad theu close everything to do the kebab. So, I didnt have the chance to try the kebab.

Went there 4x times. Everytime I ordered chicken momo they always serve me veg momo. Wondering what could I get if I ordered veg momo.

Good Kebabs, Biryani is great. Chips are better than KFC, I recommend them with gravy and cheese. Good service too.

DELICIOUS Nepalese food! Plenty of options for vegetarians. Also yummy, big kebabs and great chips.

Very happy with the meal. Very flavorable and not what you usually find at a kabob house. Just be aware bit takes a while as they actually prepare the meal when ordered and do no rely on preheated items.

I would give this place zero stars, if you want a mouthful of MSG and everything taste like salt on steroids then this is the place to go. Not fresh and no flavour other than salt, sorry guys but very disappointing when you pay for food and dont feel you get your moneys worth!

A lot of love in the food here prepared by friendly and welcoming staff. The kebabs are delicious and huge (one could feed two people)..the highlight for me but was the chips and gravy, the best I have had anywhere in Darwin.. the Nepali menu looks divine and I will be treating myself to that on the next visit. This business offers great food (although spicy, as expected). The employees who work there are friendly.One criticism I would have is that they do not bring your meal out to you, even if it is on a plate. If you are already seated, you are expected to rise and fetch it yourself.Personally, if youre dining in then I believe it is the business responsibility to bring your meals to the table youre seated at.Other than that, this establishment is perfect for people who are craving something hot and spicy.

The food here is fantastic. The boxed options are enough food for two people. Friendly staff and great fresh salads. Good choice of sauces. We buy here and then drive and sit on the foreshore and watch the sunset.

Chicken fried Momo was very good. The chicken fried rice and mixed kebab were not up to the mark, but that might have been just a personal preference..

Probably the best takeaway felafel in Darwin. Right amount of sauce for flavour without the soggy mess. Felafel has a great texture, not dry and crumbly. Good salad, with generous helpings of olives and jalopenos, and cheese included if youre into that. Quick but careful preparation. What more could you want?

Great food, Kebabs are delicious. Been a number of times, even though has changed owners, am pleased it hasnt lost its appeal as being affordable, good food and service.
