A nice breakfast place. The service was great and the food was good. In my opinion it was better than IHOP if thats a good comparison.

O MY!!!took us almost an hour to get our food!! while others were all being served in a timely manner.....it was just 3 omelettes and a side of sausage links!! After our food finally arrived the links didnt!!!I had to ASK for them and then waited another 10 minutes!!! and they were only browned on one side and barely warm!!!!!I think they must have lost our order ticket.... the darn omelettes were nearly 20 bux too!!!!!!

waffles tasted like waffles, cant complain... Cooks were little rude but to be fair..I came up behind em creeping-Spider-Man

My first time there was a good expansion. Food was good. Served pretty quick. The service was good too. I would say that Ill be coming back again

Iconic place for good home style food and friendly service. Its a go to for us.

Breakfast was wonderful, service impeccable! Place was packed on a Wed. A.m.

Dinner plates are hearty and filling. Had the prawn plate and was given 10 large butterflied breaded shrimp, veggies, potatoes, salad and a dinner roll.

Service was friendly and quick, the food was delicious and filling.

My waitress was very friendly. She gave us great service. My coffee and ood was hot and delicious.☺️

Food is standard diner fare. Some of the food is odd, like the scrambled eggs tasting bland and the syrup being water-thin. The pancakes youd think would at least stand out here, but its essentially what you make from a mix at home. Hashbrowns are soggy and greasy, and cut too thickly to be very enjoyable. The coffee is not good at all, tastes like an ashtray.

Its a dinner, the food is average like youd expect in a dinner. The staff are perfect and what ensure a five star rating. The greeting welcoming us, the immediate coffee service, timely order and drink refills while we wait for the kitchen, ending with the, "thank-you, come again!" Are the reasons we return over and over for 18 years.

This place gets extremely busy on weekends and around lunch time. If you are in a hurry you may want to rethink your options. If your not in a hurry this place is an excellent choice with a variety of old-fashioned traditonal breakfast dishes as well as sandwiches and dinner options.

This place has had the best breakfast I have had in a long time. The food was delicious and delivered while hot with minimum wait time. The waffle hot and golden crisp and the omelet was accompanied by a nice hearty size of hash brown. Reasonably priced and will not disappoint. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice brunch followed by a great nap!

Very good food and service. Loved the food a lot. Got the turkey meal with potatoes, stuffing, mixed vegetables, mozzerella sticks, and chicken wings.

I went with my 12 month old and ordered one adult breakfast plate, an adult and a child juice, and a side of fruit. This was over 30 dollars. For 30 dollars for breakfast for 1 adult and a baby, it had better be good and the food was only ok. They are called family PANCAKE house but the pancakes were so bad I didnt even eat them. Also, it shouldnt take over 30 min to get food once you order. I arrived at 8:45 and didnt leave until 10:05 and that was solely due to the service speed.

Your Angus beef grilled burgers used to be wonderful. The meat was so tender, moist and full of great charbroil flavor. But you seem to have switched that out for a generic, tasteless, hard packed disc of "meat". You really downgraded yourself. Its terrible. However your servers are great people. I hope they dont suffer from this bad decision.

Their breakfast foods never disappoint, many gluten free options, all delicious. Wonderful staff.

Amazing service and fluffy pancakes. Really sweet staff who spent just enough time checking in with us, keeping our coffee hot/fresh, and helping us with to-go boxes. They didnt hover and they helped us narrow down our choices. Def try the buttermik. I tried the buckwheat because its healthy for you but the buttermik (fingers to mouth, air-kiss). Would have liked an open window or outdoor seating due to COVID but it was as airy as it could be.

Staff were attentive with coffee refills and interacting with guests for the most part. The meal was very good and price was right.

Their farmers choice omelette was very nice. ($15 for omelette+hashbrowns+toast They really do intend for the "family" part of it. It felt kind of wasteful to have to take a table for four when I was dining alone

The food was ginormous! It would have been if it was hot. Everything was cold but I do not send good back because I have seen the horror stories firsthand!

The food is awesome and so is the service, which is enough for me to be a regular customer. Sad I waited so long to try their food, honestly. YUM. And I am pregnant so my taste buds are like all intense right now haha. The eggs were exactly how I liked, as well as the pancakes. They had organic sugar for my husbands coffee. He, too, approved of the pancakes, saying they were almost as good as his, which says a lot. He makes great pancakes :)

I am truly stumped about how this place gets 4.5 star reviews. We have been going there for several years for our club meetings because they have a good set up for large groups. But after 2 disappointing meals stopped eating there some years ago and just attend the meetings.Yesterday we thought to give it another chance and wishing we hadnt. I ordered the roasted turkey and stuffing meal with red potatoes. Everything was slopped over with some lumpy, luke warm gravy, and the turkey was a really fatty/stringy mushy mess. The stuffing was indistinguishable, and as in the past, all veggies are still boiled to perfection.After 3 bites my stomach went on strike and I stopped eating. Even the people next to us commented on my plate saying it looked like it was something their dog threw up. My husbands meatloaf wasnt any better - so bad in fact we didnt even save some for our dogs. And were NOT picky easters! For $40 we will have dinner elsewhere before future meetings.

This is such an amazing Resturant. From the second, you walk in. The staff wisps you away to your seats to show you an excellent, tasty menu. Super fresh food. Big portions. Awesome staff. What more could you ask for?

I really wanted to like this place since I want to support local businesses and this chain had been recommended by a very nice person with whom I’d had a fun conversation. Hoping for the best, I ignored the musty, wet, wash rag odor when we entered. The host was nice. He and the coffee were the reason for the second star since one star is the default. The coffee was unique and bright, but just okay The menu was extensive and had so much promise.However, the food came out and this cemented the deal never to return. It was edible (bacon was good, but eggs were spongey/rubbery, pancakes were just mehand we were hungry so we powered through the experience so we could leave. The server came around three times asking a patron right next to us if he needed anything before breezing by our table as if we weren’t there. The order was wrong as well, but given everything, it wouldn’t have mattered. We just wanted to check this off of our list of places to try. Bummed we’re still searching for the perfect pancake place, but that will be another adventure for another day.Judging from the reviews, people either love or hate this place. No hate from us, but it’s definitely a pass from these two foodies.

Food was good but we were extremely overcharged. It ended being over $30 EACH. A table for one behind us had a ticket of over $40. He had sticker shock just like we did. 2 people with average "diner" type food costing over $60 is horrendous. The service was terrible and the food was good but not good enough to be that expensive!! For that price, dessert should of at least been OFFERED and the service top notch! We will never be returning. Neither will the gentleman with the $40 ticket just for him!!

If you are looking for a good value meal, great service and a wide selection, give them a try. Breakfasts are great and lunch/dinner have a wide selection, salads, sandwiches, burgers and entrees. I tried the steak sandwich and had a nicely cooked steak on an open face hoagie, with steak fries and a salad.

Party of 6 for my birthday celebration, and the staff aced it! At the time, there wasnt very many customers, but, the wait staff was on it the whole time! Ive never been disappointed when dining here. Great staff, good food, and not very long wait times for tables or food 😀

Go here quite often, love the food and service.Update: December 11, 2021 @ 557pmOrdered 2 pot roast meals to go. Asked for steamed broccoli and got mixed vegetables instead. Asked the girl taking my order if the meals come with dinner rolls, she said yes....guess what???? You got it, no dinner rolls. I rated this place 5 stars and go there at least 5 times a month, being lied to is enough for me to never trust this place again. It wasnt even busy, there were literally only 2-3 people inside eating. Get it together FPH! Now, for 35 dollars, youd expect some bigger portions, see photo for a very dismal plate. I think youve lost a loyal customer.

Food was decent with a short wait, but the experience was less than stellar when paying. The waiter was rude saying "You wanna sign" very curtly to get my attention when I stepped aside to look at the decorations present while the receipts printed. Very poor way to get someones attention if youd want them to come back.

A sit down restaurant with very kind staff. The coffee and cocoa is delightful and the pancakes as implied are wonderfully served. Fast service and feel good prices leave you satisfied. (Dont worry, they serve waffles as well!)$$

For the most part, service is good. However, it could be better. The last server I had seemed forgetful, and took longer than usual to see if I needed more coffee. The coffee mug is about 6; to maybe 8oz mug. It should be checked more often than she did. I asked for extra napkins, and the server never brought me any; but another server did instead. Then, when I was ready for the check, that seemed to take a while as well.When it comes to the food, they do a pretty good job. Though, I did have a small piece of egg shell in my overeasy eggs. I let my server know about it, so that she could tell the cook to be more attentive to that. I did no not ask for my eggs to be re-done. I was on a bit of a time crunch.

It was a cute establishment, the food was good. The fries were a bit salty and the water cups were tiny, but I got the clam chowder and 3 alarm burger which were delicious. I tried my sons pancakes which were also really good, especially with the salted butter. We would definitely go back I would just ask for light salt on the fries.

Would have given 5 stars, but the steak was tough and slightly over cooked, we waited for 10 minutes to be seated and it wasnt busy enough to warrant the wait time. Pumpkin pancakes were great, sausage gravy was well seasoned and tasted wonderful, and out sever was awesome!! I will be going back to give a second chance since you cant tell if a steak is going to be tough and perhaps the hostess was having an off day!

Came in after a long night of paranormal investigating. After only 3 hours of sleep or less, it was a delight to have a staff of people waiting to serve us. There was not just one server for our party but it seemed they all worked together to serve our party of 7 and the other surrounding tables. The food was standard but tasted great with nice presentations. They were constantly refilling our coffee and waters.

Our waitress was phenomenal!!!! She was very courteous and attentive! Sadly, I have forgotten her name.Our food was really good! I had the Swedes combo with Loganberries, bacon and scrambled eggs. Oh my, it was so much food! But because everything was so good I ate every bite of it!My husband had a BLT and fries and his was really good as well.I will say that our meal was more expensive than what I thought it should be. But it was delicious!

Stopped their for breakfast this morning. Fast seating, had a GOOD cup of coffee in a couple minutes. Had chicken fried steak the lite order. The order was prepared quickly and was excellent. All the staff polite, professional and courteous. Will be stopping by again.

The food was great at decent price. I had the best ever corned beef hash that could have been even better if the potatoes were crispier. The swedish pancakes with apple compote were a hit as well

The food was fine, nothing to write home about, but what really made this place shine was our waitress Corey. The host was nice too.We (My Mother and Ihad just left Dennys after waiting for 15 minutes to just get in a drink order. They werent even that busy. We ended up leaving as we were on a schedule, and my mother had to catch an airport shuttle by a certain hour. Things were looking bleak and my mother pointed this place out in a last ditch effort to eat out somewhere before I would drop her off. Id ate here before, it wasnt bad, but I hadnt been back for a couple years. Honestly I was a bit worried wed end up getting the same level of service or worse given the crowd.I was wrong though. I would say this is some of the best service Ive received from waitstaff. Corey has a stellar memory, is fast, friendly, and dare I say cute? Anyhow Our food was out fast, so kudos to the kitchen and we never had to ask for anything because those questions were asked and our needs anticipated. Will definitely be back, just hope whoever we get to serve us is as good as she is.

This restaurant serves very good American style food at reasonable prices but thats not whats good about it.The reason why this is a great restaurant is the staff. We came into this restaurant with a packed parking lot thinking we would have to wait a long time to get in on a Sunday. That didnt happen because the staff goes out of their way to seat your family quickly. Ive rarely been to a restaurant this busy that had a staff this attentive and thorough. Whoever owns and runs this establishment has my respect and gratitude. Definitely coming back. People make the difference. Always.

Maybe if you are desperate for a pancake...This business is 1000% forgettable. Food, drinks, service, and interior/exterior environments are all sub-par. Wait staff is slow and unhelpful. It seems like their a bunch of zombies just waiting around for you to ask them to do their job. Waited there 2+ hrs to receive the wrong food, forgotten drinks, and lack luster food. Food is intensely basic and bland, not enough good details about their food to continue to review. Prices are ridiculous for the services, food, and drinks you recieve. Parking is shared with other businesses and yet probably the only good thing about this place.Social distancing at this place does not exist. They park you at a table full of other tables in a crowing dining area. While they do have 1.5 tall plexiglass "dividers" between tables, I highly doubt it is socially distanced enough to be safe.The Family Pancake House on Kitsap Way in Bremerton is a place I would highly recommend against. While I am usually pro local restaurants, I cannot honestly recommend this one.Strongly recommend to skip this location/business.

Oh my goodness, this place is amazing.First time in the PNW, first place we were able to sit down at. As soon as we can, were coming back. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

On many occasions, we have dined at the Family Pancake House for breakfast, once in a while for lunch. On most occasions, the food is good and reasonably reliable. Every now and again, there has been a slight issue, such as over or under cooked eggs; however, the servers have taken care of any problems that had arisen.On our last visit, I decided to change what I usually order; this time, I had a cinnamon roll. Once a year, I get a weird craving for cinnamon rolls, I treat myself with one, and then all is fine. Last year was the first time of trying their cinnamon rolls. I discovered how moist and tasty they were with the correct balance of sweet and cinnamon, last year I was in heaven eating that large warm cinnamon roll, this year not so much. This year, although looking pretty, it wasnt warmed and seemed dry, so my expectations were demolished, even butter didnt save it, and our server didnt offer to warm it.My husband had the Chorizo omelet with no cheese; he chose fruit over hash browns and toast. He stated that the chorizo wasnt very spicy, and he ended up adding a bunch of hot sauce to compensate. Plus the salsa was lackluster; he felt the tomatoes in the salsa were bitter and not sweet like prior times of having this meal.The restaurant as a whole seemed clean and was busy as it is typically — no large messes on the floor and no unkempt tables.The staff was friendly, even if our server didnt offer to warm my cinnamon roll, I never ended up asking her too, but I felt it necessary to tell her at least how dry it was; none-the-less she was friendly enough.However, their menu is overwhelming, and one has to wonder, do they need to provide 60+ items to choose from? And do people order all of those items often? I feel that large of a menu is overkill; I know they want to offer several choices. Ive said in past reviews with all of those choices, something has to give, and it usually is the quality of the food.The bathroom appeared reasonably decent, although two of the stalls were out of stool liners.The parking lot is clean and offers quite a bit of parking spaces that are shared with a few other small businesses.Will we eat there again? Most likely yes, many times we have dined there with no single issue, and the food was good.

I dont come here often, but when I do, what a treat! Its hard to fill me up but the Tower does it every time! And the most gorgeous hostess/servers around.

Good family style dinner. Got the salmon and shrimp special and it was tasty, large portion.My server, wynter, was very nice and proactive.Got the coconut cream pie to go. Was too full to eat it.
