Relaxed, counter-serve mobile eatery offering meat & veggie falafel wraps & salad bowls.
This is the best falafel and hummus place I’ve tried in the UK! So fresh, clean and the taste is just perfect! Highly recommended! Keep up the good work, guys!
Great food, love their wrap, super filling ❤️ I am Middle Eastern and absolutely love their falafel 🥙 always coming back for this
Excellent food with excellent service food was spot on way better than what I was expecting will definitely be back for more .
Had food here was made to wait half an hour and the wrap was cold. I had to ask them to re heat and it still wasnt edible.
Chicken shawarma is bleddy ansome! From one lost Cornishman
Unfortunately, they dont follow the food hygiene standards at all.The man who prepared our food didnt use gloves when moving the remaining vegetables from one container to another. The vegetable containers didnt have any lid on them and the hummus was dried out on the side of the containers. The fryer baskets have not been cleaned for a long time as there was a huge amount of burnt grease accumulated on them.I dont understand how on earth they have been given 5 on food hygiene from the food standard agency.
£3.50 FOR 3 Falafel way over priced , humous bowl was awful, really dissatisfied, left 80% of the meal
Owners were very very welcoming, shawarma was everything I expected and more! Wrap hit the spot at lunchtime. Halloumi fries with special pomegranate sauce was also amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
They made our team meal awesome. Food was delicious, and super quick to be served. Really colourful food too, thanks team 🙏
The falafel wrap that I’ve tried from here is great. I think there was a pink pickle in the wrap & I loved it, I wanna go back at some point to try the chicken shawarma & halloumi fries. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to try falafel for the first time to come here!!!
Usually love these guys but very disappointed this time. Had a salad bowl but the chicken was greasy and halloumi was none existent.Salad - what salad over drowned in that much hummus. And I love hummus but just too much in this salad bowl
I have been working as an employee for close to 5 months, the working environment, the interactions with other Co-worker and specially both the bosses can make you feel home.As far as the food is considered, can’t describe it in words ❤️❤️❤️
Travelled from Wigan for the rugby match this weekend, had to try this place and so glad we did. Top class, reasonably priced and great quality.
Honestly not that great!Tried a falafel wrap with all the trimmings and it was no better, if not worse, than any cheap shwarma place you can go to in any town.Weirdly they dont do fries so I had to opt for sweet potato chips, that were just large soggy slices and cost £6.50!?Total bill was £13.50 which was just for the the wrap and sweet potatoes. (I refused to pay extra for a drink!)I really dont see what all the hype is about. Just save your money and go to any other shwarama/falafel place- that serve proper fries and thats not a rip off.
Great Falafel, particularly like the falafel guys near granary wharf. Must have; chickenwings
Dont get what the big reviews are all about. Tried a salad tray with falafel, halloumi and all the salad... Threw it away half way through. Love street food places and try somewhere new every week when in Leeds city centre, wont be going here again though unfortunately.
Just tried the new set up in Craft Asylum - Granary Wharf. When it comes to authentic, good quality food to enjoy with beer - look no further - chicken shawarma and halloumi wrap, it’s a game changer.Home made hummous (try the charcoalawesome - if you’ve not heard of these guys, you need to try. Street food is the new way forward.Great value for money - my wrap was the weight of a house brick
Best falafel wrap Ive had in the UK (and possibly ever)! Freshly fried to order and wrapped up with fresh veg, pickles and three types of hummus. Blows away all competition in Edinburgh and now I need to think of more reasons to visit Leeds!
Authentic, great tasting, freshly made felafel in Leeds city centre. Really good flat bread wrap, fresh salad, pickles and sauces. I had mine with halloumi, my son chicken and halloumi. Great value & friendly efficient guy serving too!
Great food - the falafels had a crunch to the outside but were moist inside, the halloumi was done well, there was a generous serving of hummus and it was reasonably priced. Recommended.
Really annoyed. Ordered Falafel guys via Deliveroo (we are vegetarian- when they arrived they all had chicken in - we sent photos and called to explain and they refused to rectify the situation - really poor service - wont be using them again.
Been eating with these guys for a long long time since the small cart in the centre of Leeds. Amazing fresh tasty food, run by awesome people. Can’t recommend more highly 👏👏👏
A Leeds institution, been eating from these guys for about 5 years now, cannot say enough good things about them. The most authentic and delicious falafel in Leeds, hands down.
Lovely middle-eastern fare with home-style hummus and falafel. We ordered it as a takeaway meal and were not disappointed. It was well packaged and they even left a personal note on the bag. Theyve become a firm favourite during lockdown.
Delicious. Falafel wrap with everything and Halloumi for £6... So tasty and worth every penny. Cash only.
The good: the food is excellent! The bad: cash only? In a pandemic? Really? Its really cheap to get iZettle or some other card payment option. We should be protecting each other. The only reason that comes to mind for cash only in the 21st century is tax evasion... Youre better than this! Please give another payment option, then it will be 5 stars!
Ordered takeaway Falafel wrap and side Falafel. The falafel itself was over fried, taste so salty and full of unnecessary spices. Not recommended
Falafel + halloumi 😋😌I added everything & enjoyed the taste 😋Was a bit too salty because of the pickles I guess!
Ordered a take away from falafel guys. The food arrived fairly tepid - I don’t think that is really the fault of falafel guys more likely Deliveroo. However, I was generally pretty disappointed with the taste of my meal. In particular there were whole pieces of coriander seeds in my falafel which I found both unpleasant in terms of taste but also in terms of texture.
Absolutely amazing. Ordered and arrived within 10 mins. Super great food with a lovely great keep smiling message. And Thank-you so much for the extra hummus and falfell. Keep doing a great job :)
Visited the caravan while on my travels to Leeds. Let me tell you this, I’m from the Middle East and this place took me straight back home! Falafel sublime, hummus delicious, customer service, outstanding! Keep up the great work, I’ll be telling everyone abo it you back home!
1. Great customer service - splendid welcome and polite staff; guys are happy to give their recommendations; and all served in good time (work lunch)2. Awesome food - usually have the mixed wrap (chicken and falafelwith beetroot hummus; all amazing presentation and quality; salad can be customised to your requirements
Had high expectations, but they were exceeded by a long margin..the evening meal was beyond our wildest taste dreams...nice to have the chef decide the menu. Staff was beyond wonderful..after finding easy street parking very near to the restaurant.
Found these guys in the middle of Briggate at Leeds’ Light Night. Very friendly, gave the kids a few crudités and dips whilst we were waiting. Falafels made fresh in front of you and come out crisp and moist, then smothered in hummus, salad, sauce and wrapped in a nice soft flat bread, took me back to the streets of the Middle East...except for the pouring rain and cold!
Great falafel wrap, served up quickly. A little pricey considering it’s a stand (rather than a shop, where you can sit and eat). Basic falafel wrap for £5, enhanced wraps (feat. meat/halloumifor £6 and upwards. Note, cash only.
Tl;dr Phenomenal flavours, fantastic chef passion, and a wrap thats more like an experience thanks to inventive ingredient stacking. Cant wait to go back!Eating at the assembly rooms, the Triple Decker (Chicken, Halloumi, Falafelwrap was full of flavour, colour, and solid value for money. Both of the guys were really passionate about the food and the flavours, letting me and my partner try some of the ingredients first (and sharing what they added to the wrap!). To hear these guys talk about the ingredients that go into the wraps is almost as good as the wrap itself! The three different types of hummus used in the wrap gives a different taste every bite; its an £8 wrap and worth every penny! Highly recommended.
Got charged the price of a full meal (£7.50for a side of sweet potato fries. It’s awful to charge someone that much for potatoes. Also showed no remorse when I complained. Actually used the phrase "Im sorry you felt that this was too much". Who doesnt think this is too much? Please try elsewhere in Assembly
Great delivery service. They gave us a free meze starter and wrote on the box saying we deserved it. Customer service 11/10. Food was great but maybe tone it down a bit with the salt. Will definitely order again. Thanks guys
Wow this place really impressed me. Simple, healthy, clean food but wow it tastes INSANE. Gorgeous flavours. The guy in assembly was super friendly with the circle glasses and let me try the charcoal hummus which was delicious. Excellent service
I visited the underground location (not the vanon a recent business trip to Leeds. The falafel wrap was absolutely delicious (Ive had my fair share so had a good point of reference). They offer two different hummus variations, a selection pickles, salads and three different sauces. The staff member serving was very friendly and encouraged me to try a bit of everything as it was evident I was intrigued by it all. I added halloumi for that extra bit of indulgence.Note: the location on the face of it feels a bit odd. It is down a set of stairs. I went at 12pm on a weekday and it seemed completely empty so I hesitated from going inside and hovered around outside for a few minutes. However within about ten minutes the lunch time crowds arrived and there was a lively atmosphere inside within no time.
Didnt eat at this one but ate at the stall in Assembly Underground! Was sceptic of falafel because as a vegan every vegan option is rubbish falafel, but the falafel here is beautiful. Got a wrap and filled it with pickles and veg and hummus and it was amazing. Deffo gonna eat there all the time now 🙃
I would say that this Falafel was the most tasty one I have ever ate in UK. First of all, They have many different sauces. Also, the Falafel ball is not ready made but the Falafel will be fried after you order which make it so tasty and fresh. The guys on the track are very welcoming and they are very flexible with the order in case you need something special. when ever I visit Leeds I don’t miss to have Falafel in middle of the day as a light snack with reasonable price. give it try it really deserves.
Great falafel, some of the best Ive had in the UK. Need to open a branch in Manchester now!
First visit today after a busy morning. Really fresh ingredients and really enjoyed it. Had a wrap with falafel and halloumi with pretty much all the extras. Keep up the work guys we will be back. Everyone make sure you like my reviews. Enjoy!!
One of the hidden gems in Leeds. It gets busy but the service is quick and friendly, and the food is always fresh and delicious! Good simple Loyalty card scheme. Nicely done 👍.
Delicious falafel cart. Line builds but moves quickly. Vegan, vegetarian, and chicken options.
I can honestly say I have travelled across the middle East and these guys make the best falafel and hummus period! Better than any Palestinian hummus out there. Boys youve got skillz!
Called here for a snack on wednesday, absolutely fantastic! We had the falafel wrap and a chicken wrap. The guys were so friendly and informative (we were first timersfood was amazing and great value, turned out to be way more than a snack and we didn’t bother cooking that night ! Please open up a restaurant?
Came across this gem on a recent visit to Leeds. Full of flavour and the customer service from the guys was top class.
I had the Falafel and Halloumi wrap today with all the salads and sauces, amazing! My taste buds were in heaven. Great service with speed, healthy food and value for money!
