Description
Privilege
For a disabled person the access to this view might be complicated (grass & slippery rocksbut the actual path is accessible and easy. The view close to the bridges is amazing.
MoreGreat view of surf and interesting history. Tread carefully.
Hours spend here in this magical place, perfect waves for SLS board surfing, cant wait to get back here
MoreLovely gem of a place. The landscape is fascinating and definitely worth a visit, coastal walks and stunning beach besides it!
MoreBeautiful scenery. Well worth a visit. Dont forget to say good morning to the fairies.
MoreBeautiful spot where the force of the sea hitting the rocks joins with the amazing views of the waves kissing Tullan Strand.
MoreThese are very impressive and the whole surrounding is idyllic. Somewhat surprised there are not fences or something to prevent visitors being allowed to put themselves at risk in search of the perfect Instagram post.
MoreThe “bridge” itself is not a big deal, but if you are nearby ,walking path is nice along the golf course, a good view to ocean, very windy though.
MoreWe love hanging out at this exclusive & hidden gem in IrelandSurfing right behind at that beach is also a lot of fun. We recommend Murf Surf since the rentals of wetsuits & boards are super cheap
MoreFree to visit and stunning views on the short walk from the free car park
Beautiful scenery and views at the fairy bridges. Theres a lovely walk round it called Rougey walk and smashing cliff vistas. It can be windy and blustery but when the suns out its a gorgeous place to chill out. Not far from the fairy bridges is the wishing chair which is fun. A large rock formation shaped like a chair with folklore back story to add to the setting. A bit of superstitious fancy . One of the highlights in Bundoran.
MoreVery nice beach and carnival right next door in Bundaren. Great place with very friendly people
MoreVery nice place for a walk through this cliff..Large waves.Lot of people are doing surfing there.
MoreNice visit. There is a bigger parking lot in front of the beach. Dont get confused, the overall area looks more like a beach than the spot you see on the pictures, but start you journey at the parking lot, go roughly 300 meters along the signs and you will "discover" it.Looks cool.
MoreAmazing views,place for lovely walk
Made a wish on the fairy bridge .The scenery was amazing.Definately wud recommend a vist. Theres a surfing school the too.. Bundoran looks like good place for family or couple staycation. Our own country is beautiful .pity we get robbed prices of hotels way too expensive .Tourist board need to stop this abuse and greed..Our country is amazing..lets welcome our own and tourists worldwide.
MoreWild Atlantic Way. Toilets on site (port a looand bins. Also coffee trailer and food on site 2022. Overlooking Tullan Beach. No Swimming recommended.
MoreDidnt see a bridge but we did see an absolutely beautiful beach that we could have camped at or spent the day.
MoreFairy Bridges is amazing rocky arch Above the sea in Bundoran, but this is just one of many things you can see in this town. We enjoyed staying for 4 days with 3 kids but if we will get a chance to come back again I will not hesitate. We even swam in the Atlantic realizing it is doable despite the relative cold 16C water. The Tullan strand is amazingly wide and long with surfers, horse riding, building sand castle or just walking and observing the ocean surge and waves. The Little rock water pools on the Blue flag Bundoran beach are nice just to watch the sea creatures. There is over 50 pubs in the town, everything is close in a walking distance, a great place for a family holiday. Not staying about attractions near by like Slieve League boat trip from Teelin, Gleniff horse shoe drive, Glencar waterfall etc.
MoreFirst visit here and its stunning on a great day. Blow holes were nice to see and the wishing chair is a must. Follow the instructions as your wish may not come true other wise. People have left a fair amount of coins by the wishing chair. Lovely views can be seen over the Bay and Slieve League mountains are just lovely. Video on my channel soon.
MoreLovely spot with a great view. Very easily accessible and can walk across the bridge area if you please.
MoreLovely place to visit
A wonderful place along a wonderful beach!
Lovely cliff bridge overlooking the wild coast and beach. No charges.Limited safety precautions. Walk carefully
MoreNice spot for stopping and admiring the coast
Unique and wonderful stop - right beside a drop-dead-gorgous beach.A mecca for surfers BTW.
MoreThe Fairy Bridges is a natural arch in the cliffs, with blow holes that date as far back as the 1700s. The Wishing Chair is also very popular with visitors, who take advantage of the magical powers of the natural stone chair. More than the bridge I loved the beautiful beach and sea around this area. Good place for a long walk and to be close to the nature. Please be careful about the weather before coming on this place because the real majestic view you could see only in a good sunny day. On this site you can learn all about the Fairy Bridges & Wishing Chair, their notoriety as Bundoran’s first tourist attraction back in the 1800s, how to make your wish so you know it will come true and also about the general history and geology of the area! Good place to visit with children and make them learn about the fairies. :Beautiful beach for a long stroll with pristine, white sand. Along the seashore is a paved walkway where you can enjoy a relaxing walk with stunning views. The fairy bridges are something unique to see. An outing that will leave you feeling relaxed and invigorated.
MoreLovely place to go for a walk & get some fresh air and enjoy the view
In a single word "Beautiful".Fairy bridge is very adventurous, I would always suggest, be careful when you pass over the bridge. Its windy and slippery.
MoreA bit cloudy but it was too stop there. Also, nice beach for surfers next to
Really good choice of food and drinks at the food trailer and amazing views. Some model horses in someones garden made my granddaughter happy. The only bad thing was the public loo needed cleaning/changing.
MoreGorgeous views. Beautiful Tullan beach. Had a very good afternoon walk.
The most beautiful, breath taking place i have ever visited. Watched the lovely sunset, the sound of the waves, a wishing chair in the middle of this and children making those sweet wished... ahhh so good.
MoreAmazing view of the sea, peaceful place to rest and enjoy
Fantastic spot , the sea arch is spectacular, easy access and a beautiful beach nearby
MoreNice for a short stop and great views onto the beach
Such a great place with views from tullan Strand. Love it
Nice history behind surrounding area, beautiful beach with high waves 🌊
Beautiful beach for a long stroll with pristine, white sand. Along the seashore is a paved walkway where you can enjoy a relaxing walk with stunning views. The fairy bridges are something unique to see. An outing that will leave you feeling relaxed and invigorated.
MoreWorth seeing however no safety features so you need to keep children beside you and be sure footed.
MoreFirst time to visit this area of Bundoran. Really lovely, spectacular views. Good parking. Well signposted. Great views looking towards the Atlantic.
MoreFantastic spot to view the ocean! Can do surfing along the nearside beach.
Lovely walk. Great place to take some pictures and soak in the scenery. Plenty of parking. Definitely recommend, well worth a visit.
MoreBeautiful place with exquisite views of Donegal bay and the scenic walk around Roughey will fill your lungs with fresh sea air and you will have amazing views of Bundoran, the Dartry mountains and Donegal bay
MoreNice spot to see. Great views over one of the beaches in bundoran. Neighbouring beach is hard to get down too even when we found the actual path. Subsequently this huge beech seems to be quieter. Sign up at beach advises about rip currents etc.As for actual fairy bridges. As other peoples photos show they are rock bridges naturally made by how the sea erodes at the bank. I found it fairly scary to step across it. It does look safe so long as you dont take too many chances. But Id recommend a cool headed adult (daddy or mammyto check it out first before walking whole family out into them. We did it with 3 kids under 6years and they were very nervous.Photo opportunities are great here though over the beach
MoreReally unique rock formations with a lovely beach close by. Definitely worth a visit!
MoreA refreshing walk beside the Wild Atlantic Way. The Fairy Bridges are a nice treat located very near to "The Wishing Chair". Beautiful scenary.
MoreSpectacular scenery! The power of the sea can be felt there. And go sit in the wishing chair while you are there. Wonderful place! And just right around the corner, on the street to the parking lot, is the Salty Fox - a whimsical restaurant with excellent food and a very friendly staff.
MoreOne of my favorites places in Ireland so far.. actually we found tours starting in Dublin for whole weekend to learn surfing and for obvious reasons, between May and July are the best dates to come
MoreNice place. Easy to get there. Seems a great beach to surf as well
