Simple, casual spot offering Middle Eastern & American dishes such as pizza & pasta plus live tunes.
Very Good Food and affordable Prices.
This place used to be great but its really taken a downturn. Portions have gotten substantially smaller and a lot more expensive (which makes sense given the economybut the annoying part is that the quality is very hit and miss. I ordered a small tabbouli and more than half of the container was 2 pieces of lettuce wedged diagonally so the container was maybe 1/3 of the usual portion? Despite being a regular customer, my last 3 meals here have been disappointing so I dont think Ill be back.
Had a great time there! The staff and owner were very nice and welcoming. Food and music were great.
As a matter of fact this was the best Mediterranean food in Boston! The food was amazing and the staff were so welcoming and kind! 10/10 recommend
Great food. Great people. Bread was fresh and service was lovely
Food was excellent, very fresh and tasty. I got the hummus and bread, the cheese rolls, and the chicken Shawarma plate. The portions are very big. The service was great, great people. Basem was very kind and quick service. Highly recommend!
Great food and very relaxing atmosphere!!
Had a wonderful experience. The owner showed really great hospitality and food was so good. I would recommend it for everyone.
Great food, really nice owner
The best one!! Costumer service and the food…awesome!!!!
Very delicious!!! I could not stop eating! The lamb in the mixed grill and tabbouleh were highlights. The meat was juicy and tender, the cauliflower was crispy and flavorful. Lovely environment. Highly recommend.
I can finally recommend a good Lebanese restaurant in the Boston area!
Amazing as always. Aziz made us feel totally welcomed and understands the importance of celiac disease! Yay for gluten free items!
Been ordering from here from time to time and they never disappoint! I have had their chicken shawarma, lamb and beef and hands down I would recommend the chicken shawarma. Its very authentic and tastes soo good! Also tried their spinach pies and Sambousek Empanada! If you need a quick bite, this is the place.
Food is delicious and the staff is extremely welcoming. Everything is made fresh. The pitas come straight out of the oven. Easily the best taboulli in Boston. Now they are offering cocktails, too! Be sure to check out their Sunday brunch with live music. Always a blast!
The food is really really good, all made on site including the bread. We tried many of the small plates and falafel. I will certainly go back even though I live far away! They are also very conscientious/considerate with regards to allergies and can tell you exactly what is in everything down to the oils. Plenty of left-overs as well.
The food is excellent, authentic Lebanese cuisine. great ambiance! staff are professional and friendly!
The food is outstanding! Perfectly cooked, deliciously seasoned and authentic!
The food at Fairouz is top notch if you are into Lebanese or Mediterranean food. More importantly, the service is amazing. I went there with my family of 4 not realizing they don’t open till 4pm. Well it was 2pm and before even we turn back, the manager Bassem stopped us and said you can’t go back outside in this weather with two kids, we’ll take you!!! I’ve never seen such a service, consideration and care anywhere. The kids enjoyed the music and the food and so did we . Bassem checked on us couple of times despite they had a huge catering order to fulfill . I usually don’t write reviews, but this one just MADE US SPEECHLESS!!!
Very good middle eastern food. The owner Bassem was very courteous& above and beyound. He was always double checking with us to make sure we are completly satisfied from the food and the service. Very cozy place& we were feeling home..
Wow! Amazing food and the service/hospitality is among the best of Boston. Fantastic location My Lebanese husband said it tastes and feels like home. We travel from Marblehead to come here. The fried cauliflower and kibbeh is unmatched. The Z’atar melts in your mouth. Great experience!
The food was great and our server was amazing!! Also the singer Mitchell Kaltsunas as usual lit up the restaurant with his beautiful voice and we couldnt help but dance for couple of hours. Our whole experience was Super!
I used to eat here all the time. I had ordered two chicken tender plates and they were both burnt and in edibleUpdate: while I wasn’t too happy with my food this time, i appreciated the way the owner reached out to correct it. I will give things another try
Food was delicious! Everything I ordered, from the Kibbeh Naya, Baba Ghanoush, Hummus, Fattoush Salad and Mixed Grill Platter was fresh and to the highest quality. The hospitality was also impeccable with greets and complementary meals from the owner. Overall the best Lebanese food I have had in Boston and will definitely go again!
The lamb kabab was not completely cooked. Their food falls slightly on the bland side with spices being used sparingly. Food prices are very reasonable.
Amazing food and service. I have ordered kafta, chicken and many other dishes from there and the food is always fresh and tasty. Even my picky eater kids love it. Definitely recommend!
Delicious 😋🤤 I recommend their beef kabobs and their appetizer: Kibbeh Kraus and also dolma. And great customer service! Will definitely return ☺️
A little disappointed they didn’t use basmati rice, the uncle bens version loses the fragrance of Persian rice I’m used to. Kabob pieces are smaller than in the pictures, guess they’re scaling back. Cauliflower in tahini was mushy. Overall disappointing.
Great place and service and the food was good especially the salad. I had the Swharma dinner. I highly recommend their salad.
Had the most amazing experience, really friendly staff, amazing food, and best of all the owner came out and checked in with all of the customers. Best Lebanese spot in the area. Highly recommend!
we ordered the Zafta, taboulé for appetizers, their portions are big. very fresh and delicious! for the main course we shared the mixed grill, they lnow what they are doing with the meat, very tasty, tender and juice. really well done. the server also being very nice and welcoming, she treated us like a regulars even tho it was our first time. definitely will be back
The food is so delicious. The place is newly remodeled and the staff is great. A must try!
Just beautifully renovated down to the brand new tables and chairs and tufted banquettes. Place is super clean, with a few things out of place as they look to be getting a patio setup for when the weather breaks. The food here is unbelievably fresh as well as delicous. I got a kabob sub with succulent chicken cooked to perfection, roasted peppers, onions and small slices of pickles in just the right amount of yogurt served in a wrap that was almost as long as my forearm my friend got the swarma and loved it as well as an enormous greek salad that actually made me jealous. They have an extensive menu that includes traditional Greek as well as middle eastern favorites. I will be back here soon for dinner and take some better pictures. Highly recommend.
Falafel wraps are great. Thin wrap that is long and skinny. Arnabeet is good, I expected more like breaded and deep fried, but it is just fried and.
Delicious takeout. Generous portions. Tasty hummus that has a slight adaptation on the classic. Super friendly staff. If you like raw kibbeh - it’s fantastic! Look forward to eating there in person post-pandemic.
Awesome fresh high quality look no further consistent amazing food. Easy parking, and great prices. You will enjoy the ambience and solid service too. I have been visiting this solid restaurant over 3 years and they even have red snapper fish which is hard to find. Thank you guys for having awesome fresh variety that we can rely on.
Very good food, service and atmosphere. Large variety of menu items. My particular favorites are the crave-worthy Arnabeet (cauliflowerand the flavorful Chicken Kabob Roll-up. But I do miss their delicious homemade Syrian-Lebanese bread (pitawhich they used to serve with appetizers. Do recommend. Hope this restaurant will be around for a very long time.
Such fresh food! We ordered takeout for a party of 10 and couldn’t have been happier with the portion sizes and taste! The chicken and shrimp were seasoned well, the fattouch salad was very fresh and delicious. My boyfriend is Lebanese and he also was very happy with the authentic seasoning and fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend.
The food taste good, and the staff are very friendly. The place is very clean and presentable. I think that the price is bit to high for the amount of food. I got the chicken kabob platter and for the amount of food it brings is little disappointing. The presentation is good and the taste.
Very nice family owned restaurant. Very delicious food and great service. Can’t say more, all I could say is you have to give it shot and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
By far one of the very best dining experiences that Ive had in quite a while. Food is excellent & of exceptional quality. Also the staff is kind, competent, and very helpful.Without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants.
Delicious shawarma, kabobs, falafel! Every bite takes me back home, truly authentic flavor! You can tell they really take pride in bringing the best experience to their guests whether dining in or taking out! The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, especially the arabic music! A definite MUST try!
It would be helpful if you guys can let those of us that eat Halal meat know if there’s bacon in your wraps or dishes before making full payment for it and regretting your decision of eating it. I usually order from here often but this is my last time I will ever order from this spot .Thank you to the owner for reaching out and understanding my concern, I’ve changed my review to four stars well deserved !
The lunch was decent. The Sambouseh was very salty, the tabbouleh was very sour. The rest were ok. The desserts was not appetizing. the Nammoura was very dry, and had no taste. Looks like they’re frozen. Overall they’re unprofessional on desserts and lunch. Also they took about 25 minutes to give us our food! The lady (which I think is the ownercheated us and overpriced our food! She didn’t state the correct price that said on the menu on our receipt. Basically she made up the prices. Lastly she added unnecessary sub totals as well, like “bar subtotal”. We didn’t even sit there and she charged us! She included the tip in the bill which was 20% gratuity, when normally restaurants charge 15%.Never gonna step foot in this place ever again!
Unfortunate let-down. Their "garlic" wings are frozen wing-dings served with low grade fries, and the fresh vegetables are essentially pre prepped salad vegetables, including raw onion. These, along with four mini spinach pies (mind you on the menu it claimed a be a singular pie), came to a whopping $31.00. Would not recommend at all.
Ordered a chicken and beef shawarma plate and both were truly terrible. Neither were true shawarma - they didn’t come off a rotating spot spit. Chicken was chopped white meat and was dry and barely spiced. The beef was some sort of really tough stir fry cut that was overcooked and hard to chew through, and swirled around in garlic and pickles. The whole thing tasted like some concoction a kid would make while trying to make shawarma. The only saving grace was the Costco-like French fries.I wont be eating here again.
Great food, prices and service!!! Why haven’t I been here before?? Always driving by! Worth the stop!
On a rainy, cool night, I stumbled across this fabulous restaurant. The two staff members were warm and welcoming, and I was promptly served my soup and then entree. And, the special of the day, a lamb and bean dish, was delish!
I came to this store with high expectations.. we arrived at 3:00. Now it’s 4:50 and we are still waiting. I am very disappointed. I hope the food will higher my interest. But the most annoying thing is that their fried fish still had the head on. WHO WOULD EAT THAT?! Just looking at it would make me barf. I ordered chicken shawarma... let’s see why this store gets 4.3 stars.
Great food with excellent service! Whenever Im in the area I always try to stop by and get quality good! Owners are very friendly! Check it out, youll be more than satisfied
