Irish libations & bar food are provided at this dark-wood-accented spot popular for soccer watching.
Went for dinner & a drink. For a Thursday evening this place was busy.I had the fried goat cheese appetizer, which was pretty good, & the shepherds pie was very tasty.Even though it was busy, I had excellent service. The place looks very nice, but the volume of music & voices was very loud.
Loved it 20 years ago in the old location. Love it just as much now
An old Buckhead staple. The good is great and for as large of a restaurant as it is they make it feel cozy.
Visited Fadó during a recent visit to Atlanta. Located in Buckhead, this Irish Pub has high ceilings and plenty of seating for a sports bar. I developed an instant connection with this pub - they stream all of Liverpool games and that’s all I need to develop affinity for a bar.I was bar hopping with a group of friends and the bartender at Fado were really generous to host us despite having made the last call just before our arrival.Their Guinness pour is smooth yet strong - just the way it should be. Bartenders are polite and engage in good conversation if you like.Definitely a solid recommend!
Had a company event here. Stellar service, great food. Was free beer and wine so we didn’t get to try any speciality drinks. Will def revisit! Small parking lot for the restaurant itself but there’s a deck right around the corner.
I love this place. If I was a Irish Pub I would be Fado. Fast friendly service, great place to watch any sports event.
Fish & chips dinner portion! Yummy! Staff is cool. Ou
They pretty much have the best bar food imo. We came in randomly last night as a last minute decision. The bartender informed us that they were closing but Alyssa our waitress was super sweet you would have never known they were slower that night and possibly not expecting many patrons. Her service definitely made me open to returning on a game night.
The wings was delicious. We enjoyed our time and the service was very good.
The garlic parm wings are to die for and the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. TVs everywhere and the manager Rita is the best!
I enjoyed the English breakfast, but paid $12s for parking😮💨
Food is fantastic!!! Server was very kind, funny and professional. Very positive atmosphere. Good vibe 😁THANK YOU AM VIC 👍
Irish Sports Pub with tons of TVs for sports viewing. They also open early for Formula 1 Fans on Sunday Morning and provide us fresh coffee. For brunch I recommend the breakfast tacos! Delicious.
As always, food is delicious and staff kind and efficient. One of my fave places.
Terrible. went in on a Saturday afternoon. Empty other than 4 or so other people. Waited for 15 minutes for a bartendar to show up behind the bar. Ordered a beer, bartendar doesnt say a word, turns around and walks toward the taps on the other side of the bar. I wait for another 15 minutes and still no beer, no bartendar. I get up and leave. Wierd place with a depressing vibe.
Drink prices are a wee bit high, but hey its Buckhead. Drinks were very good and the staff and servers were very nice. One of my favorite spots in the area.
Great place to have a 1 or two drinks
They keep taking my review down. Very antisemitic place. They are best friends with guy named Ness from Croatia who harrases everyone and has a swastika on his back and celebrates Hitlers bday. English bartender said all Jews need to leave Georgia and go back to where they came from.
Stopped by for an afternoon snack and drink. Very good. Will go again.
Nice place for a brunch and the bottomless mimosas was a good addition to the brunch. The food was really good.
Nice furnishings, but some seats need repair. Shepherds pie tasted fine, but was priced about twice as much as the small portion size warranted. Salmon bites were good. Server never brought part of the order, and was not really paying much attention, even though it was not busy. Bathroom dirty.
Best place in Atlanta to watch a Chelsea match
Ive been going here for two years now and its the Pub to watch the Blues of West London. Come on Down!Google "Atlanta Blues"
Great place to watch Formula 1 races with the locals. Early events you can get some very nice brunches. The Irish breakfast was perfect.Gotta try it!
Great service, hot, fast and delicious meals! Had the crispy Buffalo chicken sandwich which was fresh and juicy, with the best crispy potato wedges on the side. Will be back!
The drinks were great. I really enjoyed their Old Fashioned. The food was just okay, but The dessert was delicious! (I had the bread pudding). They could use a little more speed with theor service, but I will be returning!
First time at this Irish pub and I like the atmosphere. Will return
The service was excellent here. The location is stunning and loved it. We were at the rooftop bar and it was beautiful. I loved the woodwork inside and felt like authentic pub.
Irish pub food in buckhead! They have my favorite shepherds pie and fish and chips! They have a dinner and lunch fish and chips where dinner is two pieces more. I recommend the pretzel and salmon bites for appetizers. The bread pudding is good as it’s not too heavy. It’s vanilla ice cream and hot bread pudding. Valet parking is available or validated parking deck.
The first time I visit any restaurant I order the fish n chips. Its not as easy to make as it might seem, and its a favorite dish, so I use it to test a place. The menu states Fadó has the best fish and chips in Atlanta, and its not just boasting. This is absolutely a top contender. The fish is perfectly flaky and crispy, and the chips are hearty. I can absolutely recommend it.
We didnt expect it but we got a straight sports bar experience! There was a football game on and tons of yelling and cheering. I ordered the dinner size fish and chips. The tartar sauce was good but the fish couldve had more flavor.
Awesome fun family event. Went there this weekend for a Wedding Shower. The roof top deck is outstanding. Whitney and Tori were our bartenders and servers and could have not been nicer, friendlier and helpful. Food was excellent - Shepard pies, fish & chips, deviled eggs were a hit. This is a really great venue for a special gathering.
Been coming here for gator games and its still an awesome place. Grab a pint and watch some sports and enjoy your life. Always a good time
Awesome service, we had bottomless mimosas.. and a plethora of delicious food. The waitress was amazing. I feel bad because I think we had so many mimosas I forgot to tip her. ☹️ We will definitely go back and I hope she is still there.
I love the atmosphere here escpisally for when a good "football" match is on. The food is excellent and the Guinness is cold! Our server Autumn was very friendly and helped us navigate the menu and find meals we would enjoy! All around a great place for a meal and some good memories!
Food excellent, service from waitress was awful. Some others helping her were good but it took 15min to get a beer, never got waters, took another 15min to get second beers. She spilled my beer and when she poured it, it was half foam.... just not a sharp waitress. I would give one star but that’s not fair for the company. She has to go though. Pretzel was impressive.
Awesome place to watch the game or to just hang around and chat for a bit. Good food, good drinks, and good staff!
Wings were hot and perfect flavor, thick blue cheese with it. The Reuben was great... and my cider was tasty. No one pushy, just nice and helpful bartender. Thank you.
On August 17th, I decided to try Fado Irish pub for the first time before I went to see Flogging Molly. I got a Guinness and some goat cheese at the time because I had just eaten at steak and shake earlier in the afternoon. I was so impressed by the scenery and atmosphere at the Buckhead that I wanted to show my family, namely my dad, the establishment. I spent my birthday at the midtown Atlanta location, but that was less about the Irish atmosphere and more about just a place to see the game.Yesterday my dad and I went to Buckhead they do some record shopping at Fantasyland records and then afterwards we were going to grab a bite at Fados Irish pub and restaurant. I was helping my mom would come with us,but she had just gotten done with a 8 hour shift and she was ready to rest up for the day. So I took some pictures so she knows what to come to expect for when she is able to come with us. This time I was able to bring an appetite and I ordered the Fado pub Burger and a Guinness black and black for my meal.Incidentally, the pub was much more crowded and I should have known better because it was during college football season. Compared to the first time during the mid afternoon it was a lot less crowded in much more peaceful, but during the evening its much more crowded and lively. so next time I will most likely grab some lunch there when its not very lively in the Buckhead area. There are plenty of beverages and food that I would like to try someday. Its almost like being in Ireland but without the passport and for somebody of Celtic Roots like myself thats a real nice treat.
I liked the restaurant. It had a nice atmosphere. Very busy. So busy that we weren’t able to be seated at a normal table. They had to make one for us and the upstairs seating was blocked off for use. Had to pay for street parking. Overall it was a good experience.
The food is always a plus in my book. But i went to try their friday bottomless Moscow Mules. Im definitely going back! That was a major plus plus plus!and the bartender was very kind and attentive even though hhe crowd was thick.
Excellent food at reasonable prices. The fried goats cheese is OUTSTANDING! service was right on and friendly. Although I didnt drink they do have an extensive selection of beer and booze. Parking, I believe is free although we parked @ a meter across the street. Nice atmosphere can get a bit loud but thats just everybody having a good time. A must go, 6 people with 2 appetizers and 6 dinners was under $150.00 including the tip.
OMG! This place is super dope. So many Guinness half and half drink options and of course plain Guinness. They offer a variety of other good craft beers and plenty of mixed drinks and other liquors but they have Guinness and pretzels and I couldnt be happier with how good it was. I really enjoyed this place and look forward to coming back. Definitely worth a revisit. Check them out if you havent already.
Cool place, but the service was awful. Bartender was inattentive and not friendly at all. Weve been here a few other times, and had good service, so we will be back.
Good pub food, salmon bites are pretty good. Also, the atmosphere here for soccer games is on point. Friendly staff are a plus and elevate the place.
Went for my 28th birthday, and I could not have made a better choice. The place was not too busy, most of the crowd was watching a podcast on one side of the pub, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Our food was absolutely top notch, and not at all expensive. You can get in and out for the same cost as any generic sit down restaurant, but with much higher quality food. Our waitress, Emily, was busy but still tried to be attentive. Her dry humor personality was appreciated, always a smile too!The (what I believemanager on staff who had taken the reservation, Nick, was on hand and also stopped by once to ensure everything was going smoothly. Overall an excellent experience! Parking is free with restaurant validation!
IRISH BREAKFAST served all day and night! ADD THICK CHIPS AND BEANS for the full Monty experience like you can get all over Great Britain. And specify what kind of toast you want. Other than that, let kitchen do their SWEET thing their way.THNX,RUSS!
Loved the atmosphere and had a great meal! Porotions we great for what you payed for and the staff was very friendly. Drink prices were reasonable for happy hour.
The service was a little slow, but they made up for it when I got my food. The fish tacos I ordered for happy hour are probably the best tasting fish tacos I have ever had. Worth the price and worth the wait. This is a busy little place, but it has a great vibe and a huge selection of drinks, including whiskey and wines.
Had a great interior and beautiful bar area. Fun, but bartender man got quite frustrated with the tipsy group. Isnt that part of their job...relax. people are coming here for fun and good spirits....like the Irish!
