The food here is outstanding the best. Cooked fresh for you. I ordered online and it was ready bang on time portion size is big both fish and chips are rhe best ive ever had or will have. Thanks for the great food guys xBeen again and never fails I was once told this was the worst fish shop and because you never see many people in there sometimes you think its true. But the reason its quiet or looks quiet is because if you walk in you get a ticket and wait in your car while they cook your food fresh it really is the best fish and chip shop and staff are lovely too well done guys for producing the best fish and chips 100% recommend

I rarely give five star reviews, but I agree with the hundreds of other reviewers that the food here is tops! This is a definite should-do in boro for fish & chips and the rest of the menu. Their delivery svc is quick & easy, too.

Wonderful chippy, with wonderful food. There is always quite a wait, but whos going to complain about it. To me that means its popular and food is cooked fresh.

Very aggressive member of staff behind the counter. Got our order wrong and when we pointed it out got a huge amount of abuse from him.Ended up having to leave it completely. Would never return. Avoid.

Delicious! The fish pattie was FAT. I put it in a chip butty with curry sauce, I could barely fit my mouth round it but it was fantastic. 👌🏼 Forgot my scraps though. 😢

Like most people I love a good portion of fish and chips but I only treat myself to it once or twice a month.For a takeaway, especially one thats not quite on the coast itself, this place does incredible fish. The chips arent always as perfect as the fish (I literally dont know anywhere that manages that anyhowbut this is, and has been for some time, my go to place for fish and chips in Middlesbrough. Ive tried other peoples recommendations before and Ive always been disappointed. This place never disappoints.The only real downside is that Parliament Road itself is far too narrow for the type and volume of traffic it gets, so I never enjoy the drive to and from the chippy.

The last two times they have got our order wrong. Salad was turning brown (didnt even deliver it last timenot impressed. They had been great until the last few weeks and seem to have gone off.Plenty of alternatives out there!

Bag of chips are huge! Easy enough for 2 people. The fish is lovely. Fish patties are also beautiful. Highly recommended.

Fantastic customer service. I put a large order in earlier this week for 3 separate families and in total 9 orders; of fish and chips and a beef burger. The gentleman who i believe owns the business was very helpful over the phone. I popped in earlier than I had said and they were already packing them. I waited for the fresh beef burger (which tasted fab!!!!!And the ladies were helpful in bagging my order so the right people got the right bag! One of the ladies helped me to the car which I thought was excellent customer service and all in all id definately recommend frydays. The customer service and food is spot on! My no.1 place to go for fish and chips!

Worst fish and chips ever. There was maggots crawling around under the battered cod! Oh, and when I cut the cod open about ten flies came flying out of it. Never seen nothing like it! I ended up throwing it on the floor.
