Last night, we bought a variety of empanadas for take out. When we got home, this was our experience: the food was very tired an old and definitely not fresh. Maybe refried to the point the taste was semi-burnt and very unappetizing.Honestly, we tried them and threw the rest in the TRASH. Furthermore, the chimichurri sauce seemed like it was made a week ago. This sauce is supposed to be fresh, vibrant and green. Not wilted brown and dead. No Argentinian would stand for that! A waste of time and money.

Eat there for lunch. A party of 4. We parked the car in front of the entrance of the restaurant. A designated parking of restaurant. While we were eating. They called a tow truck to tow our car without asking if it was ours or not. since we were one of the 2 tables in whole restaurant and only foreigners with US car plate and eating lunch there . I’m sure they know who’s car was it.We realize and came out but they made me pay $100 USD for them to don’t take it away !! Very dishonest.

Super buena cominda, deliciosa la carne y empanadas. We had a great time eating dinner here, definitely recommend coming here. This is my second time coming and always great service and delicious steaks. Also wine and dessert options are delicious.

Everything about Fonda de Argentina is excellent. The meat, the salads, the appetizers, desserts and drinks. Always amazing. Tonight we had the arrechera, pampers salad and grilled veggies. The meat is cooked to perfection, veggies were grilled soft, crunchy and the salad has a mixture of fresh greens. Super. We will be back soon. The service is so wonderful. Theres always someone close by to help you with anything! Amazing!

So good I came back my 2nd night and they didnt disappoint. Steaks cooked to perfection, chimichurri was amazing, and I asked for Miguel by name because he took such great care of us our first night. Highly recommend!!

Great dinner at the fonda Argentina. The ribeye steak was delicious and tender. Are server Miguel was friendly and attentive. My girlfriend is having the VSG procedure tomorrow morning, at EOC... so she had the beef and chicken broths. She said the beef was a little more thicker and filling. We will definitely be back.

Excellent great food & service.

A little too pricey for the amount of food. We ordered the meat so it is slightly pink inside and they cooked it to 3/4 or beyond that. They were kind but, when we mentioned it was my sisters birthday, they brought her a slice of cornbread with a candle on it, but it wasnt a courtesy, they charged us for it. The restaurant could use some decor, as it looks unfinished and lacks charm or character. My first time here but, would not consider it one of my favorites and not sure if I would recommend it.

Fonda Argentina is always great i recommend the pulpo a las brasas I know la Fonda is a steak place and they do have pretty good cuts but the pulpo is great o get it every time I go

As a vegan for over 10 years I was very skeptical that I would have an easy time of finding FILLING food at a non-vegan restaurant. I was in a group of ladies who ate here and the waiter was VERY helpful and knowledgeable about vegan diets. He was respectful and provided excellent service. The food was amazing and very filling. I am very thankful and happy with my dinner here.

I had 2 empanadas as well as Queso Fundido con chistorra. Empanadas were with beef/carne and the other was queso con elote. The main course was Arrachera cut. The meat was so tender, succulent and good to the very last bite. Their staff is very attentive and great people. If youre in Tijuana definitely go visit Fonda Argentina. Youll thank me later.

Food is ok all they serve is beef. Short ribs were way over cooked but overall the food was ok.

Even though this place is pricey, the food is delicious. You can share the steaks, its a pretty big portion.

I went to celebrate my b-day and had a great time! I ordered mojitos (really goodand the parrillada which was delish ! Chimichurri and empanadas de Carne y rajas con queso, and flan were great! Food is fresh, if you want to try a different South American flavor in Tijuana, this is a good place. Prices were average but service was 10 🌟 Magdiel was our server and he made sure we were taken care of always.

Huge steak, the "baby " rib eye was enormous and very very tasty...Que Rico! Service was outstanding, shout out to Victor who will be celebrating his tenth year of service, hes a true gentleman. Two separate families celebrating birthdays and everyone was having fun. The sauces were really good and the empanadas were toasty and had sesame on them, very good

It was delicious!! The ribeye stake was so delicious and bursting with juices and flavor!Ask for the chocolate lava cake without the rum eggnog, it killed the flavor.Otherwise a highly enjoyable place with very friendly staff!

This place has some of the best and biggest steaks I have had in a long time cooked just the way I asked and didnt even need the steak sauce or salt.

This place is amazing! The stake is to die for! Biggest stake Ive ever had the pleasure of eating its bigger than my moms hand! I would go back in a heartbeat! The fries were like crispy but also soft! The lava cake desert is delicious!
