Great little pub, the hub of the village. We only moved here in January but already been made to feel so welcome. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Nice beers and the food is really good, the beef and chicken burger is awesome, better than Buddies!

Had only been open a few days under new management but we were wholeheartedly welcomed the dogs were also welcome and provided with water bowls... nice pint friendly atmosphere the landlord said they are going to start doing food very soon hopefully by the next time we are walking that way 😀

Love to tell you what it is like however they did not open. We went on a Saturday evening in September at 18:30 to find it closed. The sign said they opened at 19:00 but that time passed. A neighbor to the pub said they will probably open at 8, they were usually open by then. We waited until the allotted time passed and then wearily walked the 2 miles back to the boat on the canal, no dinner and no beer.
