Exchange - Live music venue in Bristol, United Kingdom
Great little place, bar staff were great
Always a great atmosphere here. Good beers, great music and staff are friendly and helpful. Decent soundstage in the main area giving bands best opportunity to sound awesome. Love coming here so, as long as the bands keep turning up so will I. Keep up the good work folks.
Friendly staff, good atmosphere and a great sound system. Would definitely visit again
Second time Ive visited exchange. Its a great venue with plenty of live bands and the drinks are reasonable!
Great venue. Relatively small and intimate, but all the better for it. Superb gig. Pricey bar prices, but nothing new there, whereveryou go. Despite that, there was a reasonable choice.
Had a brilliant night there went to see the slackers there fabulous venue
What do you think is the best venue in Bristol and why is it exchange? Honestly my favourite place for a gig in the whole city.
I had a very nice experience using their service. It has always been and is my one stop shop for any mobile gadget and repairs. Always recommend any day, anytime.
Great venue, plays a mixture of gigs in the evenings and sometimes during the day at the weekends. Provide free ear plugs if you need and always drinking water in jugs at the end of the bar to help ya self to. Good range of beers and ciders, some are a bit pricey but theres usually something a bit cheaper to choose. The staff and security are very friendly and laid back.During the day they are now open as a coffee shop and bar. Big windows looking out onto old market street and can sit outside too. Good range of milk alternatives for vege and vegans. Decent coffee at a reasonable price. Lots of toilets, all unisex cubicles.5 stars because I really appreciate it as a live music venue.
Went for a gig. The bar was inclusive, friendly, great sound quality. The staff were funny and engaging. I really liked it there.
Brilliant venue; great staff. They also do vegan hotdogs which are exquisite.
Such a fantastic venue. Ive had some lovely vegan sausage rolls at the café, and they sell alcohol free beer. The gigs are fantastic and has great sound quality. Toilets are all gender neutral, and theres a record shop. Probably lots more that Ive not seen. Lovely community hub!
Excellent venue, friendly staff, good outside are, decent ciders, vegan hotdogs, records. Brilliant!
I went into The Exchange for the first time to see Dropout Kings and Borders, I was greater by a super friendly barman who provided a great service and seemed a genuinely friendly guy.The gig started and the support act Cosmic Ninja played, their set was very good and the bass nearly blew my head off 😂Borders played and they absolutely killed it, great crowd presence and everyone had a great time. Finally Dropout Kings played, I thought DOK were bigger than they actually are in UK so I expected it to be packed to the rafters, sadly it wasnt but do you know what? It was easily a top 3 gig Ive been to, the sound was on point, the performance was brilliant and everyone had a great time. I somehow injured my knee in a 6 man mosh pit but that didnt put a dampener on my evening.I would happily come back here for a pint or a gig, a must visit for any live music enthusiast.
Amazing venue! Nice range of drinks at the bar, cloakroom and the two rooms (main and basementare great for an intimate gig with bands. Love it! 🤘
Very good venue great staff and deals on cider and beer.Compact basement room and decent size main room.Good selection of vegan food and great transport links.
Great place for live music they always have great bands
Incredible venue. Two fantastic stages, great bar. Specialist Subject Records lives upstairs.
Great venue, lovely staff and nice atmosphere :)
Awesome local venue hosting excellent bands and serving probably the best beer of any music venue you’ll go to
Great little venue although very hot! Would go again.
Great place. First time being there to see When Rivers Meet.Great venue. Will be back.
Amazing venue. Great line up. Love the reusable cups. Keep doing what youre doing.
Smaller than expected. Another band was playing elsewhere in the building and there some bleed through of their music. That said friendly helpful staff, good selection of drinks and centrally based.
Small venue but very good sound. Stage is raised so very good view from anywhere.
Came all the way from Swindon to see an gig but it was cancelled. Despite knowing DAYS in advance, this trash venue made ZERO EFFORT to contact ticket holders to tell them this. DOZENS of us outside waited the venue, coming from different parts of the UK, with no clue why the doors were closed and no lights on. Absolute joke.
Great venue with a very decent drink selection. Sound is excellent so big up the sound man. Only complaint is that they could with better air conditioning...gets damn hot in the main room!
Great sound quality and easy to find location
Raised stage, cheap drinks, great acts, what more do you want in a venue. Nice and intimate, see the bands before they get big. Yard Act 21/02/22.
A great venue for a Gig !! ... Have seen many a good band at the Exchange over years ... If the show is a sell-out it does get very busy as not a the biggest of places ... The beer on offer is rather good too !!
Great gig on saturday- Evile, thrash metal band. Good selection of beers, nice smaller venue so great for those who want an up close experience with their fave band.
Have been to several gigs here and always have a great time! The bouncers and bar staff are great, and the bar staff always seem to serve whichever customers been waiting the longest which is always appreciated! The venue seems to attract a friendly crowd as well so have always had a positive experience.
Great venue for events with 2 rooms, however they have the smallest cloakroom ever and just one bar (through which you giving stuff to cloakroom), so expect queues, full cloakroom and lots of pushing through, very friendly staf though
Great venue thats been going for years now. One thing though that a pint of local beer (brewed half a mile awaycost £6.50 so be aware. A gem to the Bristol music scene.
A great live music venue on the grown-ups playground that is Old Market.Friendly service in the bar serving some good local beers. They have some great bands on here. You can see some really exciting acts most nights. Excellent unobstructed views of the stage. It gets loud. Also open during the day as a cafe / bar.
Went to see Salem. First time at the venue and Im super impressed. Im disabled and require a stick at times. Had a new disabled toilet which was a god send and benches in the venue which made the experience 10x easier. Was able to sit down in-between sets which helped pain a lot
Real small venue perfect went last night to see corella and the raytons perfect night
Great night at the exchange watching kneecap. Really cool and intimate venue.Gender neutral toilets mean theyre really clean and have some of the nicest toilet door graffiti in the world.
Brilliant venue run by an awesome bunch
Great bands on that night, reusable Cup was a great thing, bar staff were friendly and communicative.
This place rocks..multiple venue rooms, great staff, all the customers are on form, not a bad vibe to be had and the band line ups are awesome, cant wait to go back
Nice intimate venue with great sound quality, a bar out the front with the stage in the back. . Google maps took me to the wrong area where there where some other lost people. Seems there are lots of places called exchange in Bristol. Make sure you have the right one.
Great venue, very nice and friendly staff, cool environment, good live music, constantly presenting live bands. Current improvements in their infrastructure. Fair prices in food and drinks.
Great intimate venue, excellent sound, lovely staff and decent selection of drinks. Fatherson made it an incredible night!
Excellent small venue. Saw Lazuli the French Prog rock band. Totally blown away!!!
Lovely venue and great organisation when my band As Fear Fades performs their
Brilliant venue. Small but that just makes it even better.....and its part of a record shop. Seem to have a variety of different genres and acts. Good beer on tap (cubik)
Excelent venue, very well situated in the Old Market quarter. The bands that perform there are very well selected. I was in the Exchange on Friday 17, seeing ED Force one (tribute band to Iron Maidenand Motorheadache... I only can say that was a FANTASTIC night.
Love this place. Great intimate music venue. Good cider too
Great night at Big D and the Kids Table. Friendly staff and atmosphere, good times.
