Good place for a quick one or for a chat with close friends. Traditional public bar serving local liquord, no luxuries.

Nice place with good staff. Prices of dishes are very reasonable. Not too many crowded on most days. But on fridays some crowd is there. Free parking is available.

Good for a quick and a cheap beer run. Food is not that great but the service is pretty fast. Very crowded and noisy but fun to give it a try for a change.

Budget place for a quick beer or even some hard liquor. Usually crowded on Fridays. But manageable in other days.. low end bar, with decent atmosphere... Highly recommended for a drink on the way....

Best pork devel you can ever have. Loved it. Place is kind of a dodgy place but the foods are remarkable. Devel chick peas and the pork devel is a must have.

I went there with another female German traveler and we had fun crashing the boys club :Beer was cheap and the locals were friendly.

The old X!!! Cheap drinks and food all round :attracts office folks from around the fort area. No females have ever been sighted within the X :not the cleanliest of places. The rest room is a disaster! The service level is directly proportionate to the number of waiters that youre on good terms with :But a cheaper drinking hole has yet to be found.

Nice bar but not so much of a posh environment. They serve good bits but you cant have rice items there. But they serve all other items like cheese omlet, pork, fish, beef etc. They charge bit of a service charge there so you dont need to pay a tip. Can visit and have a little drink on a weekday with your buds and have a good time. Service is very good waiters are friendly. If you are a military personnel you can have discounts here. They dont entertain shorts so please dont wear if you are going to have a drink here

The best "Dodgy" bar in Colombo. I love that place. Cheap beer, many kinds of Arak and tasty forkpicks! I would love to give them ten stars instead of five. :-)
