Events Sports Grill in Riverside

3.5 Stars if I could. I only been there for the Cowboys fan club #scdcfc..so the buffet is a lil high price. The wings were bomb, cooked perfect. Draft beer is a small selection,(5/6 tapsthey seem to run out of Modelo Negra. They need to upgrade the projector (blurry/out of focusand some TVs. One projector kept cutting in and out. Great vide, service and staff are great 👍.

Bar is cool inside, the vibe is.just ok.. Bartenders are firendly but suffer from tunnel vision.

Staff treats you as they have known you for years. Food is great! Owner is friendly as Ive seen him in passing. Always takes time to say hello.

Love going to this place cause of the atmosphere and great vibe. Karaoke on Wednesday nights. Meet up with friends and have a drink or two. Play pool play music or watch tv. Food is good, no fights or drama there. People come to have fun and relax after a long week of work. Check it out for yourself.

The staff is awesome and the food is delicious. I love the sampler satisfies all the tastebuds. And the drinks are cold and go down smooth. Thanks ladies of EVENTS!!

Really bad experience.It was my first time with my friends.We go kicked out before closing time by the waitresses. However they let all their friends inside drinking. Their friends even got out 10 mins after.I totally get the preference but they should not do that. That makes the place to look bad due to the lack of professionalism in the place by the workers.We were new costumers, and for sure we are not coming back due to the bad treatment we received by the waiters.

Any girls out there in the come and get it you can ride this bull application context.

We called and they said they served food till 1am. We arrived 5 minutes after midnight and they had stopped serving food and would only serve us drinks. We were disappointed but there was a TGIFridays not too far away.

Please bring back the Chicken Lollipops! I used to travel from far just for them and now they are no longer serving them! I would give 5 stars but not until my lollipops are back. All the bartenders are awesome!

Plain bar but they have pull down screens and makes it very nice to watch the game on. Good food as well, nice staff

Carissa provided great service even though she was the only waitress. Had to wait awhile for food but a nice place. Will go there again.

The place was nice but the waitress was the worst Ive ever seen. 45 mins to get a drink and one hour to get an order of fries. I dont think it was the kitchens fault because fries were cold. She never checked on us to see if we needed anything else. We had to ask another waitress or go up to the counter if we wanted something else.

Events is a pretty chill spot .. they have pool tables... Plenty of tables and seating and the steak nachos are stellar.

Love watching the fights here not sure what happened to the pizza. I cant order it anymore taste like it a frozen pizza. It used to be good. Now I just have to figure out something else to eat when we go

My new favorite bar on this side of town! Bartenders are great, super friendly and service is the best! WAY BETTER THAN THE RUDE OWNER OF THE BAR DOWN THE STREET. EVENTS IS AWESOME AND I WILL GO THERE OFTEN! BEST BAR ON MAGNOLIA!

Had a great time! The bartender was hot and a real sweetheart! She was fast and under control. Also the food was real good. The atmosphere was laid back and fun! It wasnt overly loud but comfortable.(ya, I just said overly. Is that even a word?LMAO!

This was my 4th time here. Bezi is amazing, so happy and connecting patrons together with conversations. And the food had flavors that I will be back for! Sorry never give 5 stars.

Huge screen TV playing my game. Nachos were HUGE too, Henry Weinhardts Rootbeer is the best. Very friendly staff and guests. I went alone and made some friends. Good time.

Nice little sports bar. Good bar food with the occasional event. Few arcades plus 5 pool tables darts and 3 foosball tables.

Excellent communication is key when it comes to great service. Im very dissapointed with the service manager jim apparently doesnt know the prices to tacos. I specifically asked manager jim how much were tacos? He said $2.50 each he didnt mention anything about taco tuesday specials...I was there on this sunday not tuesday...when I got bill he charged me $4.00 each taco and $3.00 on other 2 tacos. We ordered a total of 6 tacos in which by the way they messed up 1 taco that we never ordered. The point is his attitude was so disrespectful when I asked him why was he over charging me for tacos when I specifically asked him how much they were....if he wasnt sure he should of stated that at that moment....he didnt even say anything but slapped the charrge on my bill...and it wasnt until I asked him why...that his reply was look at the menu? Really I asked you, I stated to him. I have a right as a customer to question a over charge that was a different amount that what was verbally told to me. He told me to never come back...I said gladly will never and to work on his managing skills. Seems to me they were annoyed since we didnt order alcohol and thats how they make money.

The food is great, the TVs are always on the good games, and at least three of the bartenders are stripper centerfold good looking. Seriously. A great place.

Good local sports bar! Several pool tables, one dart board, some foosball(I believe 🤔🤔), plenty of TVs, karaoke some nights, UFC ppv fights, awesome staff, good people, family friendly, and cold beers. If any staff reads this tell the owner the get WhiteClaws!!! Or some hard seltzer. Core has a really good hibiscus/lime on tap!!!

Great cozy place to shoot some free pool, listen to some music on the jukebox and have some great food! One of my favorite dishes is the fish and chips! Events have great Taco specials on Tuesday and Friday for lunch! The service is here is great too!

This is one of my favorite bars to go too! They have great daily deals on food, taco Tuesday & one of the best happy hours for drinks. The food is always so delicious. There is darts, pool etc. & you can choose your own music. There is always good vibes on any day of the week. This is most definitely the place to be if you want to watch a game on tv & enjoy good company & attentive service. Last but not least, the service is incredible! The bartenders are friendly & always provide us with the best service no matter what!

Events Sports Grill is awesome. They are remodeling this week (2/19so they had a blowout on Sunday night were draft beers were a dollar. I got drunk and left some posters there because I came from a show at the Fillmore. I figured they were goners but i called the next day and they had put them aside for me. The hamburger was pretty good..the waitress was just ok..not attentive enough..only nice to you if you continue buying alcohol or whatever..kind of fake but it is what it is..plenty of T.V.s all around..pool tables which are free..you only need ID..an air hockey table..foosball tables..bar..and I think a pinball machine.

Loved the atmosphere. First time there, the bartender Marina very cool and friendly. Will go back again. Food was excellent.

Staff was friendly which is always a plus, but the drinks were a joke in terms of alcohol content. And we all know if we cant get lit then a place like this doesnt have much to offer.Also not the place that you would want to order appetizers from unless youre really desperate.This place could use Bar Rescue in terms of its menu and overall drinks, but the air hockey, dart machine and pool tables are fun.

We had a great time tonight at Events. Rachael was VERY attentive and sweet! Really impressive! Its refreshing to not be ignored when you want a drink, Like we were at shooters 20 minutes before! Those girls were not nice! We will definitely be back!

Most of the staff is very accommodating. I do have a food allergy first time here I had to send my food back twice. But now that they know me they take care of me very well I dont know because the staff is different or why. But I do feel comfortable here they have always taken care of me beverage Wise. And on my last visit the food was on point. If youre in the area I recommend you stop in and check it out see for yourself experience the friendly staff the great beers and the wonderful food.

We having been going to Events since it opened years ago, however recently it has not been customer friendly at all. Perhaps it only caters to the few local customers & its sad to say that public opinion still matters. Football this past Sunday was a testament to the general managers disregard for customer service . He refused to.put on a football that myself & numerous friends had come in to watch. It was slow after the morning game & I saw no reason why he stated to waitress that he refused to put on the game we wished to watch & tell them they are not at home so deal with it. Lost a group of football lovers due to his laziness & refusal to not change the channel to our game when no else was watching football. Children were running around in a bar & grill like it was Chucky Cheese no place for that many children with drinking going on. Will probably thing twice before going to Events Sports Bar & Grill in Riverside on Magnolia in the future. The owner is a savvy business man & I hope he is able to correct his personal problem.

Waitress lovely Laura is the best, always has your next beer on the table with your last sip left from the old one. Great place to hang for sports n taco Tuesday is incredible!!!

Prepaid tickets to watch mayweather vs mcgregor. Never been here before. This place turned out to be awesome! Great bartenders, people and environment. Highly recommended.

Come for every UFC event.. Service can be slow, but they get mega slammed. The food is freakin awesome, the servers usually are quite personable and fun, and the management rocks! No joke, the food is not the typical pub fare, its leaps an bounds above that in quality and portion size! Beats the Owl joint by miles!
