Description
Privilege
Wish it had more shade, but beautiful park with bathrooms and splash pad.
I had a terrific chopped salad. Everything was fresh and very tasty. It is my "go to" choice from now on. There were plenty of tables with umbrellas as well as picnic tables. Our group started out at a table but it was too near a music speaker so we moved to a picnic table. It is fun to sit outside and watch all the children play alongside a smorgasbord of dogs. Beautiful landscaping.
MoreBeautiful park to relax and enjoy nature. New Splash Pad and new additional playground area.
MoreThis is an amazing open space experience. I like to visit after every Sunday church service to walk, be among nature, visit with other park🏞️ attendees, and sometimes dine at the on-site Betsys Cafe. The parks landscape designers were artistic and true to local flora. Evelyns Park Conservatory is a fantastic tribute to their mother by her two sons.
MoreAnother place to go with the kids. It’s not too crowded and our toddler loved the splash pad. There’s also a restaurant/ cafe on site. I love these beautiful outdoor spaces Houston has invested in. There’s also covered areas to host large parties so if you want to throw a party there, looks like it can be done. Parking is tight but I was told that patrons can park across the street at the church. Otherwise wait for a parking spot in the tiny lot at your own leisure.
MoreBetsys has great food at reasonable prices and the park itself is wonderful, better than ever with the renovations to the childrens play areas.
MoreBeautiful park built in the heart of Bellaire TX. My wife enjoys this park with our child as theres many features for children (and unapologetic adults 🙂). Parking on site is difficult in the afternoons since the lot is quite small, so plan on parking at the church across the street.
MoreNeat little park with a café, lots of seating, and hidden wonderland.
Got coffee here with a friend after working out at the Y. Wanted to use the splash pad with the baby, but it was closed. Ended up using the park slide. Couldn’t stay too long cause it was so hot. Really nice park. :The Beet juice at Gatsby’s is my fave. I love beets
Morebeautiful park for families with little fountain pad for kids to get wet, adventurous playgrounds and jogging circle.
MoreWhat a lovely place. Great food at Betsys Cafe and a relaxing atmosphere in the park.
MoreNice facilities for hosting and event and family friendly. Parking can be an issue across the multi-lane street using lights and walk lanes.
MoreGood place to take your family. Mainly a park for humans only. This park has a cafe and a unique sculpture dedicated to Alice in Wonderland. Large field to run and play ball, three areas for childrens entertainment one including water works and a pavilion for events.
MoreIt was a beautiful park where to celebrate the kids birthday! The benches were in great shape and the kida loved the playgroun and splashpad!
MoreThis is a beautiful place! And what a lovely idea. Two brothers donated a park to honor their mother- Evelyn.
MoreBeautiful and clean. Great place to bring the family. Parking is very limited.
Ive been here twice around 4:00 p.m. on a weekday, its peaceful and quite relaxing.
MoreBeautiful park with a great setup for kids
very nice place to get a rest
A small but wonderfully equipped and well maintained park for children. There’s a splash pad, swings and slides, lots of creative physical exercises and even a sand pit. A lovely Alice in Wonderland sculpture in one corner. Parking is very limited so be prepared to hunt for space during busy hours. And there’s a nice cafe that serves beverages, brunch etc called Betsy’s.
MoreNewly improved splash pad makes this delightful park a must for families of young children. We try to visit at least once weekly to beat the heat!
MoreAmazing gem. Huge outdoor water 💧 and climbing area for the kids. Walking paths. Shaded sitting area. We saw a covered area with zumba class going. This is a must go to park. Great work Houston. 💪
MoreBeautiful park. Wonderful play space for kids. Lots of seating for parents
Recently updated and expanded. Has a splash pad and lots of creative play space including a sandpit.Parking is a bit limited but great place to bring the kids. Their are restrooms available too and a restaurant right next door.
MorePerfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Music festival was entertaining, kids running around and great assortment of food trucks and wine. Betseys always serves a great meal. Look for their $20 pizza and bottle special.
MoreVery personable and charming environment...just the right size...my grandson loved the soft, cushiony okay area.
MoreGreat place to bring the whole family, especially when the weather gets nice. Great activity areas for the kids and nicely landscaped areas throughout. Theres also spaces for events, which Im sure can be reserved if you contact the conservancy. You can order from Betsys and listen to live music on the weekends. A must visit for those who like to venture outdoors or enjoy walking in the park!
Morefor being in such a affluent area, it seems even after the redo that the toddler and kid area dont have sufficient shade. the splash areas is not very nice and has no decent shade cover. sand plays areas are a parents nightmare. we got because of Betsys and the proximity but parking is a mess and even thought they keep working on it , the design seems flawed.
MoreThis is a very well maintained park! A great place for walking around and getting something to eat from the cafe. There are a lot of beautiful gardens and Ive never had trouble parking. There is ongoing construction, but it looks like its going to be a lovely playground and garden when its done. Pets are not allowed, unfortunately.
MoreEvelyn’s Park is located on the old Teas Nursery lot in Bellaire. I miss Teas but the park is a wonderful addition to the area. Huge trees provide shade for your picnic or party. If you walk the track you will find a lovely scene from Alice in Wonderland. A water park will be opening soon to further enhance the many amenities located at the park.
MoreGreat little park. Was under construction when we visited, but was a cool place to hang out at.
MoreLooks like this place will be neat when its finished. Most of it is blocked off at the moment. The Alice in Wonderland statues are pretty cool.
MoreAfter grabbing some tea from a near by spot, I was brought to Evelyns Park Conservancy to check out the "Alice in wonderland thing" (as put by my 2 cousins I was with who didnt want to give away too much info to me.We walked through to see some pinic tables with families hanging out and a small stage being set up. BUT, a ways down towards the end of the block you see a huge table with benches on either side and THE COOLEST Alice in Wonderland scene. Alice, The Mad Hatter, March Hare, and Cheshire cat all there having an unbirthday cup of tea together. 🥺💜✨The white rabbit is even there...if you can spot him🐇😁
MoreAccidently discovered this cute little park, if you have kids you should definitely take them here. We took some really cute pictures :)
MoreBeautiful park! We enjoyed a yummy charcuterie board with a glass of wine & listened to live music! 💖
MoreThe park is under construction. But the space that is available is nice .. really great family seating.. and snack foods.
MoreLove this park! Quiet, clean, tucked away in the center of Bellaire inside 610 loop and Bellaire Blvd. Good for a nice drink and a bite to eat, or just a walk around the get outside and destress!! The alice in wonderland scene is pretty cool to see and hang around as well! Great for a day with the kids or a date!!
MorePerfect easy trail, plenty of tree covered trails where wildlife is abundant. We saw a snake capture a frog today. As a matter of fact we saw a Gardener snake, a green tree snake a 3Copperhead, a few wild boars and quite a few White Tail dear. Onot wish there were a larger bird population.
MoreHad dinner with my nieces and daughter. Loved that we are able to grab a meal from Betsys. The girls enjoyed the food and then we were able to run around for a while to enjoy the beautiful nicely kept grounds. As my niece said " The bathrooms are nice and clean." with two toddlers that are constantly asking to visit the bathroom that was a plus. Definitely thinking of maybe using the new venue for future gatherings and celebrations. The girls can wait to go back and have a meal again at Betsys.
MoreIts a nice park. I love Alicia in the wonderland sculpture. My kids have a lot of fun on the slides. Also, you can buy local stuff.
MoreLove this place and so do our kids, all four of them! This sculpture is possibly one of my favorite pieces of art in Houston. A little piece of Central Park in Bellaire.
MoreEvelyns Park is a magic place to go with the family. You can run, ride a bike, skate, even prepare a picnic and relax. There is also an area of simple with two slides, some art with butterflies, fresh grass, water fountain to drink, and a restaurant if you forget your snack.
MoreNewly opened beautiful park in the Bellaire area. Small park but quite fun for kids to play around. Walking trail, kids can bike. Enough benches and a sculpture to sit and relax.
MoreWonderful and beautiful public park in the middle of an urban area. There a lot of play areas and seats distributed all around the park for both kids and adults. The Alice in Wonderland themed bronze statues are very detailed and enhance the whimsical and fun nature of the park. Parking, food, event hosting and toilet areas were readily available and accessible. We found it to be a family-oriented and kid-friendly place well worth the time and effort to visit and enjoy in.
MoreVisited because of the good reviews. Major disappointment. Extremely small park with two slides and mad hatter teaparty sculpture. Biggest doormouse I have ever seen looked more like a beaver. The coffee shop was extremely expensive. Very small parking lot
MoreNice RESTROOMS. Has rooms to rent for a wedding or reception. It also has walking trails around the park. On one of these trails, it has a cement picnic table with the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and a rabbit. Look at my picture.
MoreThis is a quaint, family friendly park in the middle of the Houston city suburbs. There are gravel walking paths, a paved oval path, a fun slide for kids and sand box. There is a restaurant onsite with lots of outdoor seating that is very popular on a nice day. There are benches for sitting, trash cans and a water fountain. There is also a large Alice in Wonderland feature which I thought was unique and well designed.
MoreVery nice park, great place for kids. Also very good for walks. I really like coming here!
MoreAwesome park small but well designed. Not much for the kids one slide but nice open feild to run around on and a small track surrounds park for walking. Really cool restaurant maybe cool a good spot around sun down to have a drink at. PS: If your a Alice in wonderland fan come see the sculpture!! Very picturesque.
MoreMeh...not really kid friendly. Only slide and small sand box to keep little ones entertained. The slide was too hot to play on. The sand box was fine until more kids showed up and it got crowded instantly. Hardly any shaded area, maybe because its still a new park. Its pretty but not much to it to be able to spend an afternoon here.
