Eurostars Centrale Palace in Palermo

Although a bit worn, rooms were very nice and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is very central and walking distance from most attractions and shopping.

Beautiful lobby, but rooms small.Very difficult to reach by car, you need to drive by streets just a little inches wider than a small SUV car size. Better to bring your car just two short blocks down the street a d they will park your car in garage. $20 / night

Really unfortunate experience. We booked this hotel specifically because we were arriving late at night and would need a taxi transfer service from the airport. We got an email confirming an airport pick up. No one showed up for us, we ended up waiting for 30 minutes at the airport. I called the hotel and they told me I had never booked it. Ended up taking an 80 euro taxi at 3AM, getting to the hotel, showing the confirmation of airport pickup I received from the hotel. The night manager literally shrugged his shoulders and implied it was my problem, then suggested it was never actually confirmed, then told me the driver actually called him 10 minutes before I arrived to assure him he was there. I was too tired to be gaslit by this guy who kept switching his story, so we went to the room to shower and go to sleep. The shower was baffling and has no way of keeping water from flooding the entire floor. Woke up the next morning to explain the car pick up situation to someone else, hoping they would be willing to remedy the situation or at the very least, apologize. They apologized and blamed the car pickup service and told me next time to get a picture of the taxi’s license so I don’t get overcharged. Just a hint of disdain there. Would have honestly been better off sleeping at the airport.

We got a reservation in this hotel. It is extremely hard to get to the location by car. We asked for the permission to park directly in the Hotel, but they never replied. Really bad customer experience. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Rooms are a bit expensive especially as they offer a disappointing view. They’re also quite dark. The staff is extremely professional and helpful

Apertures and bathrooms need a revamp. Rooms not bad. Breakfast area is a gem. Breakfast quality very good. Service great. Restaurant view wow! Dining cannot say as both Friday and Saturday were fully booked. Location cannot be better.

Nice old hotel, the crew was kind and helpful, but the breakfast was negative experience. If you like self service dont choose it! Somebody, please tell the Chef: the scrambled eggs are not good from old frost and dry eggs, or the yeasty peaches are taking the appetite. Fresh milk should be fresh and not actually open from the tetrapack and field in the coffee machine.If youre trying the fitness please check the air-conditioning before, because it is not working and when I asked the stuff to turn on they put it to 30C/86F...The location is great. It is simple to use the garage if you could drive through the tourist mass.

Breakfast was great... But for a 4 star hotel it was disappointing. We didnt have any expectations except that wed have an experience as good as any other usual hotel in Palermo. When getting to our room it was very clean and pleasant to stay in but the air conditioner wasnt working and the only way to not burn up was to open the window (yes, in Januarywhich when it was open it was without a net to prevent bugs from entering. When pressing any light switch in the room, there was an electric sound and the light would either turn on after flickering or not turn on at all. Walls had some big cracks too. Our bed would slide very easily which led to waking up between two twin mattresses. Never had a chance to try the TV, wouldnt turn on and after requesting to have it looked at no one ever came to the room. The only time we heard from them about our TV was when we were checking out of the hotel which then when they finally looked at the TV they came back to us to say that it was our fault that it didnt work when not even the remote worked in the first place, so who knows if its even truly broken if nobody can turn it on. I will say though that breakfast was fantastic and the location was perfect and also the man that checked us in on the first day was very friendly too, it was just disappointing that me and my wifes first honeymoon was like this. We dont feel like wed like to stay in this hotel again. Good luck to whoever may choose to stay here, maybe youll have a better experience. Have a good time in Palermo!

Where do I start?The hotel is very old and needs an upgrade, rooms are not insonorised, wecouldnt charge our phones, plug is loose and hanging off the socket.Bathroom door wont shut, oh and the noise from the heater like someone is banging on the walls!Broken and craked tiles in bathroomThe worst shower in Italy to our opinion.Dirty walls, dust on furniture, under the sunk, in the vents (which were filthy black with spider webs hanging outwhich was upsetting especially during Covid times!Most challenging was to get to the hotel by car as you have to go through a small alley and even to get to the parking...Nothing extra was provided like shower cap or to buff your shoes.The keys are very old and heavy metal bell like you have to carry around, not practicle.Mold or moisture smell in the room.This just make our stay disappointing.The lobby though was beautiful, the staff was very friendly, breakfast was very good and the location was fantastic in the heart of the city.

Great location for hotel but very dated rooms. Parking is a scam.Before reserving the same day I asked about parking, but when I got there I was told hotel parking was full and was directed by the concierge to park at the Venezia parking. 15 eur per day to park, then they move your car and leave it on the street on blue parking spots, so a scam. Probably the concierge is getting their share, as in the parking they asked about what hotel had sent me

Rooms are tired and lacklustre. All are small with no amenities. When we queried the ‘superior’ room, the receptionist didn’t apologise and gave us another set of keys to another room. The next room was no improvement. While we were waiting we saw another customer have the exact same experience.Bizarre and overpriced.

Building itself is very beautiful. But receptionist was a bit arrogant. Room was a lil dark, lights were flickering, and AC system was too loud.Breakfast was good. Location is great. Near was a great restaurant.

We had nice days in Palermo. The hotel is a beautiful old building in the middle of Palermo. The breakfast was okay. However there were too much sweets for our taste, but completely OKAY. The service and the café were great. Unfortunately, there was a minus point, we booked a double room with a French bed. We had a single room with a 100x200 meter bed, a bedside table, and a closet for one person. After the first night, we had let you know that at the reception. The gentleman told us that this is normal and that we had booked it. After the second night, we inquired online again and found out that it was really a single room. We were at the reception again and another gentleman was very nice and very anxious to find a solution. Unfortunately, there was only one single room free for the next night. Immediately, the next day we got a double room, where you have seen that they gave us a single room for the time first nights. They tried very hard and prepared a fruit plate and water for us as an excuse. For a few days this hotel is perfect.

The hotels rooms are a bit dated and in need of some repairs, the shower old and basic, but...The location is great and the main building is antique and charming. Breakfast in summer is served on the terrace: the view will make you forget everything else!! 🔝🔝🔝

The Palace, at the very center of the city is of beautiful Sicilian baroque style, very "royal". The staff was incredibly nice. When we arrived we got a room but we wanted the view towards the street so they changed it - being suuper nice in the process. I believe the Sr. at the desk was called Gianluca but not sure. Then we did not like the view from the room so he gave us two other options to go check and choose from with the concierge (who parked our car before), all with incredible patience and niceness. At the end we got an amazingly big and gorgeous room with great bathroom and balcony overlooking Palermos gorgeous main street. They should check the water from the shower but honestly they were so nice and the place so gorgeous that you overlook it.Thank you!

Location is excellent. Hotel has its own, old, charming style. Rooms are spacious enough and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had issue with ticket to limited traffic zone and they helped us to fix it.The hotel is a bit outdated. You can see it especially in bathrooms that are clean, but not really looking good.Arrival by car is super complicated. You have to enter the closed street from the cathedral side. You have to clarify to Police (who do not speak Englishthat you go to hotel. Then you have to fit into extra tiny street to enter garage and garage is also the narrowest Ive ever seen in my life and it costs 18 EUR.

Fantastic hotel. Stunning in fact. Staff friendly and professional. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking is a bit difficult though. Have to go up a very narrow, steep side street. Wont take big cars, or SUVs/people carriers. Only just made it with a 3 series BMW.

This a a lovely old hotel with lots of character. Its slightly outdated.Our room was very clean and comfortable.The reception staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful.Weaknesses is housekeeping both the toilet seat and sink were cracked.My daughters room had mould on the bathroom ceiling.The location is just fantastic.

Its a really nice hotel with really helpful staff. We were there off season and got a great price on our room and you cannot beat the location.The downside is that the hotel is really noisy. All of its surfaces are polished stone or tile so sound travels everywhere. Palermo is a noisy city so theres not a lot they can do about that, but I swear we heard every door close, and every foot step in the halls.Bring earplugs and you will have a good experience.

We couldnt have chosen a better place to stay. The front desk staff, two Italian speaking ladies, we so helpful and patient. They went out of their way to take good care of us. Our room was clean, cool, bright and quiet. The hotel is historical and well kept. If you want modern amenities then stay elsewhere. Its not to hard to do your homework before you choose a place. It is pathetic that people will bad mouth a place because they dont bother to find out what a place has to offer. We knew it was an older building and that floors would creak and that it was in Centro where cars are not allowed. Only stupid people complain later about their experience. This place was excellent.

Gorgeous old Palace. Three rooms were average size and nice beds with a lovely pillow assortment. Plenty of places to charge electronics but the shower was teeny, tiny with no water pressure.We had a balcony that looked over the main street where there was a ice cream festival and 2 parades. We are over the breakfast area so close started at 7 am. We did have a great time.
