1-7 Elm Rd, London HA9 7JA, Boende
In a converted redbrick Victorian terraced house, this budget hotel is 2 minutes’ walk from Wembley Central tube station and a mile from Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena. The functional rooms with en suite bathrooms feature free Wi-Fi, TVs, and tea and coffeemaking equipment. The hotel has a bar and a TV lounge. On-site parking is available for a surcharge.
They canceled my reservation a couple of hours before my arrival leaving me with tons of problems. Very bad, do not book any rooms in this place. Not recommended, very bad service.
Euro Hotel; Adres: 1-7 Elm Rd, London, Wembley HA9 7JA19/05/2021I havent had hot water in my bathroom for about a week. After my several telephone and personal interventions, both at the hotel reception and at the managers, hot water appears for two three hours and then it is closed.Day before yesterday I was late for a very important visit to my cardiologist because I couldnt take a shower in the morning and get ready to leave.Today, I dont have hot water again and cant take a shower.I will be very grateful if this problem is solved.Best Regards,Henryk Bubczyk
Broken shower room door fittings, loose light fittings, greasy dirt on radiator, cobwebs on cupboard, and the window was disgusting. I spoke to the manager and he passed me to someone who came up with excuse after excuse as to why it hadnt been cleaned, rudely.
Nice enough. We stayed one night and it was perfect for our needs. It may have felt claustrophobic on a longer holiday since the room was quite small, as was the bathroom. But all in all, Id definitely stay here again. We were a bit unlucky with workmen outside our window first thing in the morning, but thats hardly the hotels fault!
Room wasnt very nice or clean. Art work was defaced, carpet needed a good clean and the bed frame was broken. Better off spending a bit more and going somewhere else.
This place was utterly horrible. There are hardly any markings on the outside of the building, so my taxi driver couldnt find it. Im sure location is great for some peoples needs but it was not worth it for me. When I checked in, the man at the front desk kept trying to get me to pay for things that I did not agree to, and refused to help me carry my bags up the tiny stairs. When I got to my room, there was yelling from all ends of the hall and my "room" was a complete mess. It looked like someone had just slept in it and there was wet paint all over the room. I was in the room for maybe 20 minutes before I decided to up and leave!!
Very good hotel. The staff was very kind and my room was very clean ! The localization is good because you have a lot of restaurants and groceries around this hotel. And the underground station is 200 meters from the hotel ! 5 stars.
I would never stay here again. Rooms were clean but all night someone yelling, talking loud, slamming doors, moving furniture not allowing me to sleep, no phone no tissues, soap etc. Nott helpful at all. Wanted to cancel leave early they didnt allow it.Something must change very disappointing
Just dont do it.I have no problem with budget or value accommodation but this was dirty, damp & cold. Corridors & the room stunk of daily cigarette smoke, no toilet paper, heating didnt work & the window pane was actually falling out of the window frame leaving a breeze. The front of house staff were rude, grumpy & unhelpful with lots of sighing. We stayed half an hour before walking out in shock & disbelief. We paid £25 more per person for a last minute room in a stunning hotel near Wembley Stadium which was the best decision Ive ever made sadly. I will be taking up a dispute with the site we booked through.
How was my stay? I didn’t even get to stay! Rude non English speaking staff. Paid £101 for 2 nights. And told me they cannot check me in! With no refund and stranded in Wembley when I’m only 17. Absolutely DISGUSTING service. Should be closed IMMEDIATELY.
Not too bad as for 2 stars hotel in good location. Everything was fine and even better than expectations. The only minus was quite long waiting for somone in reception to book in after arrival.
Good overall. First floor double room is nice and clean (looks refurbished). On check in we was waiting nearly 10 minutes for someone to turn up... Maybe he was in toilet 😂 Very big minus for 10£ car park per night. Room standard I would say is for 3 star Hotel... Good place for weekend stop.
It was absolutely horrible. The tiny room was exremely hot and the little wall fan only managed to push hot air in our direction. The final straw though was the sound of water running throughout the night which made sleep impossible. We did call the front desk who sent someone up to investigate. He stated that he would Inform the Front desk and that was the last we heard about our complaint.Needless to say we checked out first thing in the morning.Im only posting a star because if I dont I cannot post..otherwise there would be no stars at all
The room was sort of ok, but the receptionist said not possible to open the window on ground floor, which is odd because it was open when I arrived. The room was under the stairs so it was noisy every time some use the stairs. No English breakfast, just continental with cheese, bread, croissants from Tesco, cereal, yogurt and jam for 7£24 h WiFi for 5£, no elevator to 2nd floor. They not changed sheets after three days even through I asked for it.Not recommend it, rather go to the International Hotel Wembley.
Booked the hotel as i took my misses to watch Pink , got to the hotel chucked bags in room and left to go to Wembley .Watched gig went upstairs to the room , the hairdryer had some brown stuff all over it , so you start looking then . Sink in the bathroom had black hairs in it , pulled the sheets back and there was black hairs in it , also there was no headboard and you could see where people have been leaning against the wall and left greasy hair stains on it , the other wall next to the bed looked like it had snot wiped on it , the table was dirty and the chair looked like it was a painter and decorators chair , covered in paint , Loft hatch was all mouldy and stained where the roof had been leaking .parking was shocking , you have to cram your car into a back yard for £10 .Didnt book breakfast as someone who worked there was sitting with there feet up on a table vaping .Decided to leave straight away .Complained on my way out, they just look at me stupidly and never said anything at all .Would recommend sleeping in your car before staying here , i left and drove home got in at 4am , yes it was that bad.
Went there for my booking at 1am and was told that there was no rooms left when I had paid in advance for my room. They were very rude and I had to find alternative accommodation at that time of night and it was a very dangerous place. Would not recommend this place at all.
Cant fault the close proximity to Wembley Stadium. Can fault everything else. Broken and filthy shower, rats eating through luggage and sealed food. Not at all worth the price.Five stars if youre looking for a mafia vibe though.
It is ok just for sleeping if you are out all day. The furniture is outdated and the rooms need renovation.Good service. The hotel smells a little funny. Very close to Wembley Central. Clean rooms.
Well the rooms were nothing like on the pictures. We had some minor ups and downs there. if you dont want to spend your day in the hotel, only go there to sleep at night then you probably wont have much problem.
We travelled as a party of 17 people. The reception area looked ok. The rooms are filthy!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!Mattresses had blood and urine stains on them. One bed had black things on it, possibly bed bugs.A radiator was hanging off the wall in another room.In another room the beds was unmade and had not been changed from the previous guests and there was still dirty used towels in the bottom of the shower!!The walls, carpets and skirting boards were filthy. I have nothing positive to say about this hotel. We demanded our money back and stayed elsewhere. This hotel is a health hazzard and do not know how they are allowed to trade. We did not stay long enough to witness any rats or mice inside the property however one of our party did see a rat outside so it looks as though they have had enough of this hotel!!!
It is really a low-end property 40 minutes away from city centre (by the Tube). Apartments are really tiny and not much stylish. But for the price it is quite understandable, but still it could be a better looking place.
If your 6ft3 19 1/2 stone, dont bother. The loo is tiny, the shower is pant. The damp is an added feature. The bed is sooooo hard. The poo stain that greeted me on the bed was very nice(yukjust a poor standard over all. Only thing that was good, was the fact a Costa was close by! Stay away, and avoid. Worst nights sleep
I will start by saying apart from the gentleman on reception with the glasses and the lady who says shes just acting on behalf of the manager (she never works on reception and sits in the office most of the day), the rest of the staff are really friendly, nice and helpful. I will also say that the owner Mr Nawab (not sure if that is the correct spelling but that is what we were told his name wasalso owns the best western hotel in Wembley. I have been staying here on and off since October and have had to move rooms 5 times because of mice and I have had to get rid of one myself. Now I have realised the bites I had been getting for over a month are in fact from bed bugs. The lady I thought was the manager was less then helpful, offering us breakfast 4 today and telling me if I was not happy I could go elsewhere and she could get the room sorted out Monday (she did however refuse to believe that they had a serious problem). I had this conversation with her yesterday and now today the guy with the glasses says she told him not to extend our room for today so well have to check out and told my mother if we refused come check out he would have to call the police. Any other hotel and we would have been properly compensated but not here. There are many issues with the building that we over looked but this is one thing we cannot. Right now with no exaggeration I have over 20 bites all over me and when I showed the manager a few of them she claimed they were not from bed bugs yet when I told her I brought 1 of the bed bugs down to show staff she had nothing to say. Such a shame because the security and other receptionists deserve better then this place. And I would like to say that not 1 of the rooms we have had to leave has been taken off the market so people have been booked into rooms we have complained about straight after weve left. I am absolutely fuming and will 100% take this further. I was told this place is getting fully redone middle of next year and it has become very clear to me that the owners and managers have downed tools and are just going the the motions until the mass refurbishment. As nice as most of them are it is not worth you staying here if that is the attitude they have when it comes to something as serious as this. Disgusting and outrageous.
What can I say . Staff were friendly and helpful and it is close to stadium , that is really the only positives I can offer we were greeted by the site of a double bed squeezed into a smart box room and a blocked full toilet with broken flush in a not very pleasant ensuite. The manager did move us to a slightly better room but our travel companions didnt fair so well and decided they would rather pay again and moved to a holiday Inn . I would honestly say that I would not recommend booking this hotel as pictures are definitely deceiving .
The worst place where I have ever been. Horrible conditions and it is unreal to live here. Shower and toilet dont work. Hair and dust is everywhere. For using Wi-Fi you have to pay £5. I didnt find there at least one good thing
Gave 1 star as couldnt give 0. Would stay well away.I booked late at night as I needed somewhere to stay.Room/bedding was dirty. Smell in bathroom made me physically sick. However, as I was extremely tired after a long drive I thought to make the best of it.Id been in bed about 5 minutes before I noticed the bed bugs running about the pillow, so then asked for a refund and left.P
Location great for Wembley stadium, staff friendly, but room I had really needs a deep clean and decorating. Would advise you dont use the fridge if you get room 222, you may catch something from it. If you are slightly overweight, you will not get past the sink to get to the shower
Our room has very bad smell, wifi must be extra paid but receptionist was very nice. Tho when we came back from the town our room was open and he said that room service forgot to close... One star because you hear rats lurking around you at night, it is not worth the money
You get what you pay for. Dated decor. Small rooms. It needs an air con system as the room was like a hot box.Staff were lovely. Ideal location if heading to the arena or stadium and its right off the high St so plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity. 2 minute walk from Wembley central tube station. All in all it was good but very very hot. Air con badly needed. In short cheap and cheerful.
Stayed Here for 1 night whilst visiting Wembley stadium for a football event .Its ok for 1 night but not the best hotel Ive stayed in but was convieniant +near to Wembley stadium so good for that. But does need updating as could number a few things which could improve its performance for people to want to stay there .
Should be called Nightmare on Elm street. Reception area bright and welcoming , but got given the wrong room to start off with. Yes they sorted straight away, decor needs sorting very tatty even bodged. Net curtains need washing or new ones , base of bed looked tatted and old stains all over it. Did have clean bedding. Mattress was uncomftable. On Facilites on there website it said a bar , but they dont have one. It doesnt state you have pay £10 a day to park your car in THERE car park. They had local people outside dealing , injecting . For the price of what they charge for these rooms I expected alot better. Wont be staying there again.
1st problem parking cost £10, in the hotels own car park! Thats a rip off even though it was hot outside the hotel decided to crank up there own heating so it felt like was on the sun. The room are fine but need some air circulation especially when it gets hot.
The bed covers and duvet were dirty, had small hair on them. Didnt look like they were washed. The shower cubicle accumulated water during shower, it was disgusting. The man that checked me in the night didnt look too happy/welcoming.
Basic hotel. Charges 2 ponds per bag per Day to hold them. 10 pounds per day to park your car. Good accessibility per metro from hotel. Reasonably priced but basic and reasonably clean.
Broken bed, dirty sheets, people sleeping on the sofas in reception in the morning and in desperate need of updating. The only good things I could say was that the staff were reasonably friendly and helpful and it was very cheap but understandably after one night
The room is the size of a shoebox. The family that own the hotel I swear were living in the room next door with all their kids and woke us up for the school run I assume at stupid o clock. Shower is awful. The double bed was a small double an the mattress was even smaller then the bed frame. Parking area is full of junk and moving cages. The mattress so hard I could use to smash a brick wall. Theres a reason this place is cheap, pay the extra £30 or so its not worth it 😂
Absolutely by far the worst place I have stayed!! The staff were very uncooperative, no elevater, no free WiFi and they charge an arm and a leg for a WiFi voucher. No air conditioning, fan doesnt work, no extractor fan in bathroom, shower doesnt work properly, mould in bathroom, rooms were discussting (Ive stayed in squats in better conditioncar park is £10 a night. Majorly overpriced and a horrible experience!!
Felt secure and place was close to the arena - about 20 min walk. The bedrooms are not much to get excited about but a safe place to sleep! Bathroom was OK so would probably stay here again as was good price and great location.
I wouldnt even give it a star.Absolutely disgusting, when we arrived yesterday there was poo in the shower... crisp packets all over the floor. Condom wrappers outside the window. Bed hadnt been made, coffee and tea making facilities had been used and not re filled. Absolute disgrace, 59 pound for one night, we demanded a refund and ended up staying in the best western London hotel Wembley. I will be taking it further. Cal themselves a hotel. Bloody disgusting. Never would I ever recommend this!!!!!
Staff very ignorent took 90 minutes to check in. We was given a room eventually when we got to it. The room had other peoples things in it. We was given another room with twin beds in. Room was dirty if we had time we would have walked out and found alternative accommodation. We was fortunate in that numerous other guest were being moved to a hotel 30 minutes away. Due to over booking
Absolutely terrible. Double booked every room and did not provide me my room. Took multiple hours to even begin to attempt to solve the issue. Staff are rude unhelpful and work incredibly slowly. Police had to be involved due to so many angry customers.
The room looked ok. However, the water flow of the tap in the bathroom resembled the unrination of a 90 year old. There was no hot water in the shower either. And if you like to watch TV, bring your own indoor aerial
The room is dirty and small, the bathroom is terrible. The tv doesnt work, we havent got towels. Under our window everyone is smoking and talking. You have to pay for everything, parking, wifi, to leave the package in the reception and so on. I will never come back!
We stayed one night never again. Room was so dusty could right your name in. Shower had previous occupants empty shower satchets in. Hot. Even when window open. Took 15minutes to get any hot water from shower.Tiny room double and single bed in such a small space couldnt move.No wardrobe space just something on the wall with only one hanger. Tea coffee just chucked on the side no tray cups chipped. The place needed a good clean and serious update. Breakfast disgusting...... only good thing was location but other than that dont bother. It was cheap but cheap still should mean cleanliness, and descent breakfast which we paid extra for. Only stayed as other hotels were full up.... Staff well..... leave one to sum up.
Staff seem helpful and the room was tidy and clean. I was left to find the room myself and the Internet was not always that quick despite paying an extra charge. However the quality reflected the price I paid for it. Would happily stay here again.
Terrible place with unclean rooms, broken beds and toilet seats, noise that carries through all of the walls and incredibly unhelpful staff. I wouldnt suggest that anyone stays here. Also there is no free WiFi, breakfast isnt until 8am people are regularly being arrested in the local streets.
STOLEN OUR BELONGING FROM OUR ROOM!!!Certainly this was the worst establishment I have ever stayed in in my life, from all the places in the world where I have ever been. I call it "establishment" because this place does not even deserve to be called a hotel. If you are thinking of staying here, leave this page now and go look for others. Believe me: you will thank me for it. Its a pigsty. Very old, poorly maintained, dirty and smelly (smell of old, dirty and cigarette in every room, including room). In the room, there is dust on all sides. The bedding was already dirty when we arrived and was not changed on any of the days we were there. The heating system, very old and rusty, works independently of your will (there is not a button to turn it off), and only works in the bedroom (in the bathroom I went cold because the system was broken). You take a hot shower, go cold in the bathroom when you leave the bath, and then go out into a super hot room that you can not control the temperature. Also, the system is very noisy and bothers you all night long. The carpet is filthy. The curtains are old and dusty (there was so much dust on top of the curtain that you could see the balls of dust and pen hanging). The mattress is old and shapeless (very uncomfortable, gave us back pain). Frontdesk service sucks. We only arrived 30min. Before check-in time and made us wait until the right time. And no guest left at that time, that is, the room was already available. In fact, because of the little movement in the hall of the hotel, one can see that it is never crowded (as might be expected, in the case of such a mess). The magnetic card that gives access to the room demagnetizes all the time, forcing you to come down to magnetize it again and be able to enter the room. Finally, we were already delivering it to be magnetized whenever we arrived, to avoid having to descend again. But to finalize the show of horrors, the day before our checkout some of our personal belongings were stolen in the room while we were out. The manager, who was there, I do not know for what (completely useless), he was conniving with what happened, saying that he could not do anything as he was not sure we were telling the truth. We called the police, who went to the scene and started an investigation, but as always happens in those cases, it was not successful. And the amount that we were charged for the daily (around € 100.00is absurd, in front of what is the establishment. The daily rate should not exceed even € 30.00.That was our experience with this pigsty. We do not want to go even further, and we advise everyone not to stay there. We can not understand how anyone can write a review praising this pigsty, and we imagine how it must be at their home
DO NOT STAY HERE if you value simple things like a clean room and customer service!Worst hotel i have ever stayed in, room very unclean, with blood on wall hidden by a pillow to cover up, hairs in the bed (Photo to prove), think smell of cigurette with buds, nails and other random things on the bed room flood with no refund or reasonable customer service, and managers that you can not speak to as they are "unavailable".This is a no star accommedation but had to put one in order to post
I spent Christmas season 2005 in Lindon and stayed at this not-centrally-located, yet still convenient Hotel. Spent four very comfortable nights in a very surprisingly large room. Wifi was available. Small bar in the small lobby. Breakfast room with toast, cereal, tea, coffee...charming opportunity to visit with other guests. Most of whom were staying there for a George Michael concert event at Wembley Stadium. Not my reason- I sort of chose randomly and within budget and I felt lucky to have chosen this place to stay.
The hotel is alright but the car park is ridiculous. Got woken up at 6 in the morning to move my car because it was too small for all the cars. If you do go there make sure you dont have a vehicle. Completely cancels out the actual quality of the hotel which was not too bad.
