This place became ridiculously expensive . Be careful to only by items that are on sale for a lower price than you can find elsewhere. Be very careful on any full price item, because 100% chance you can easily find the same item for cheaper .

There are numerous reasons to endorse ENF; quality products and great customer service. However, the most excellent offerings are in the fish and beef department. Wagu or Eel River beef is a step beyond interns of marbling and tenderness. Nice selection of seafood as well. Dont come here for paper towels or garbage bags- not stocked or better deals elsewhere. Come for the produce, unique holistic goods, and quality refrigerated commodities.

The food is too overpriced, its all gimmicked up and inflated, moreso geared toward the privileged... Everyone deserved healthy food and if something is grown organically then it should cost less to grow, no need to pay for costly chemical nutrients and such, so in theory organically grown food should be cheaper than the stuff filled with chemicals... Its crazy, the stuff that is affordable for poor people is the stuff that is loaded with chemicals while grown, its genetically modified and then its injected with more chemicals to preserve it, so there is a ton of added overhead for this sort of product, yet that is the stuff that the impoverished are made to eat ... This of coarse isnt enfs problem, and I dont think the owners are lining their pockets from the products they sell either but its an issue that is much larger and not quite within their control. Unfortunately I can rarely shop at enf, when I do get to shop there I am doing so as a treat, a special occasion that I know, ultimately, takes food off of my table at the end of the month as a result. I do enjoy the staff and I believe that enf carries quality products, including locally sourced goods that should also allow the bottom dollar to stay low considering the cost of transport is greatly less.... Once again, not eureka natural foods doing imo... But part of a larger problem that nobody wants to acknowledge and people are quick to discredit by calling it yet another conspiracy theory...

After YEARS of waking up early enough to get a sandwhich I have to relieve my old 5 star rating down to a 2 almost 3 because they make literally the best sandwiches, but now I have to go to eureka location just for breakfast another 25 minutes drive to get food before work..I might as well move to be able to have breakfast as I had for years.

I am so very sad to see my favorite local grocery store perpetuating these totalitarian mandates that do not respect individual health exemptions and privacy! Im buying my groceries online and at the farmers market until you wake up and realize that fresh oxygen is safer than carbon dioxide poisoning!

They have great produce. Their ground beef is high quality and really low priced compared to most other stores. Great assortment of beer, cider and other beverages. Clean and well organized. They even pay CRV for recycling! Just call when you get there and theyll meet you behind the store to give you credit. September 2021.

We bought two beef pot pies and they were packed with meat yet the beef was so fatty and hard to chew we had to spit every piece out and just eat the crust with the gravy. It was very expensive for poor grade of meat used. Last time we got food it was so spicy we couldnt eat it and said we would never buy food from hot bar again but we took a chance ..also I bought 6 ready made raw burgers we cooked for company from the meat counter made from ground turkey or chicken and they were also so hard to chew like rubber with no flavor so we threw the rest away. We ended up ordering pizza for our visitors. For how expensive this place is the food should be better quality

I just love ENF. Eureka and Mckinleyville location. They are my main stores. They both have different things...like, if I want dried jack fruit gotta go to Mckinleyville...ha

We found everything we needed for a day on the beach. Fresh made deli sandwiches, a great beer and wine selection, local produce, and more. We enjoyed our visit and we shall return.

Great place to go for anything that your body needs from gluten free, vegan, and meat eaters. The staff is knowledgeable in the wellness department, juice bar, the deli , meat counter and the produce department. Everyone is cordial and respects the needs of the people that come in there to be helped. Yes everything is a bit on the pricy side but you get what you pay for, un-processed clean products that actually benefit your insides.

I love getting the excellent food in deli. Its expertly prepared and is organic & very tasty. I think the food here is worth the price and I especially love the great honey varieties you guys carry.

Eureka Natural Foods is sensational store full of top of the line health food and body care products. My favorite aspects of the store is the body care area, its has a fairly large selection for two isles. They have been able to order me products quickly that they dont stock on their shelves. Their food bar is outstanding! The chef is brilliant making delicious hot foods, excellent salad bar with lots of options, they even have sushi, desserts, and deli. I love that they have both cubed and block ice, Hooray! Be sure to visit their meat/seafood department, the butchers are extremely helpful, theyve made me Andouille Sausage on the spot, selected the best Filet Mignon cutlets and have highlighted the freshest fish to purchase. My two dislikes is the fresh produce area needs a lot of help, I feel the greens are not fresh, theyre wilted and rusted on the edges. Its all a bit over priced when even compared to the Co-op in Arcata. The other bummer is that I have this amazing experience throughout the store and then I get to the cashiers who seem to be "checked out," or not engaged. Sometimes they do ask if I found everything, but it just feels like Im a bother....something along those lines.

I personally like Safeway better than natural foods, but 2 each their own, Ive found their service & store 2 be very well, theres mos-def different products there than other stores, which is a good thing!!!

Good stuff but pricy. Senior discount on Tuesdays.An odd and confusing thing happened after purchasing two pounds of ground beef. When we got home my wife noticed that the weight listed on the receipt was 2.25 pounds but the weight printed on the tag pasted on the package of meat was 2.00 pounds. As the butcher was weighing out the meat, the scale actually read 2.00 pounds. When I took the package of meat and receipt back to the store, the manager found that I was charged the correct amount, including the 10% senior discount. I was not overcharged. Only the weight printed on the receipt was incorrect. When the manager again scanned the package of meat at the register the correct weight was printed on the receipt. However, when he used his employee 10% discount card the incorrect weight was then printed on the receipt. The manager was very surprised and concerned after seeing this happen. Hopefully, Eureka Natural Foods will fix this weird bug in their computer system soon. The department of weights and measure would blow a fuse if they see this.

At first I was like warm and rated them a 3. Upgrading that to a 5. A few highlights that I’ve recently learned to appreciate. The butch is fantastic and I often go just for that! The warm prepared food in the deli is always very good...perfect for bringing an easy meal to my elderly mother. The little bar is actually a cozy spot of a mimosa. The check out staff are very welcoming and nice. The wine department needs help though.

BEST hot bar in the county. Eureka location is catching up but MCK still takes the cake. ENF is the best store ever, both locations. Great sales always, amazing selection. And best staff in the county, reminds me of the customer service you get in the south but with bomb organic food:)

The quality of food products and service are amazing. Fresh Organic food products from sustainable and fair trade sources with smiles. You feel good entering the place, and the whole time you are there. If you hit up the deli and salad bar, you will find it is the best you have ever had. Bar none. I am sure that if aliens new about this place, they would disguise themselves as humans to get in and partake.

Great local natural and organic food store. They have a deli, bakery, coffee shop, and local beer and cider on tap. There is fresh salad bar and hot food buffet. They have dine in seating in store. I just wish they had a microwave for public use.

I love this place. They are loaded with healthy organic foods and organic household products. The store is also full of many local products of the herbal, organic, and naturopathic sort. If you have an ailment they have an herbalist to advise you. The deli is excellent as well. An all around pleasant place to go if you want to care a little extra for yourself.

This place is wonderful. They have a great selection of food, coffee and bakery items. I really love this place. I wish we could get organic food prices down some more tho. It doesnt need to be that expensive however for a coop style store this is the best one ever!!Plz carry for fish heads and fish cuts!!

I love coming here. The deli is always great, the smoothies are fantastic, the coffee is the best around. The staff is always great, and I never have to go far to get help finding something.

Probly more of a 3 1/2 some of the better food in the area but this is only one of the three other grocery stores in the area so there is not enough competition. Most people who work there are super nice. Theres one guy who I think is the manager never cracked a smile in the year and a half Ive been shopping there.

I would give five stars, but the bathrooms were extremely unsanitary and smelly and are located near the deli! I could not help but wonder if the employees use these same restrooms. The staff is friendly most of the time and the products that they carry are excellent.

Love this place! It’s still new and I feel like the mainstream groceries in town get more business, which is so sad considering the high quality and affordable organic selection at Eureka Natural Foods. Safeway is junk and is super expensive!! Come to ENF instead :)

Eureka Natural Foods McKinleyville is a small store. Which is not a big deal. I like the deli area. They make great sandwiches. The prices are up there. But its what you expect from a organic grocery store. By the way, they serve beer in the store!! Freaking awesome!

I love everything about this places except for two things. One, the prices are ridiculous. And Two, the hot food section is not worth 9 dollars a pound of food. I got 2 chicken drum sticks, a peice of bread, a small pile of potatoes, and a spoon full of rice. Coast a little over 20 dollars plus tax. When it got down to eating it, half the food in the box was either blan or scraps you cant eat like bones and overly hard bread crust. Everything else in the store was great though.

Simple things you want to cook are there. These organic Yukon golds baked in organic ranch dressing were incredible.

Produce selection is all right, not alot of it is local or that fresh. The hot food bar is always just basic meat and potatoe stuff, very bland. Not really a health food store. The sandwiches can be good sometimes, depending on who makes it. All the cashiers are really nice though.

Eureka Natural Foods has a fabulous Juice squeeze and salad bar. They host local art in the dining area. Their produce section boasts fresh organic fruits and veggies. They have a wonderful array of local made products and gifts. They carry several gluten free and vegan items. The wellness department is stocked with many natural holistic remedies. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. Eureka Natural Foods is a wonderful feel good place to shop.

I stoped by and bought some snacks, bread and cheese. Is kind of pricey (compared with other placesbut you get what you pay for. I dont regret stoping there. The bread and cheese taste fresh and very good. The snacks are healthier than thing we buy in other supermarkets and also tasted good. I wish there was one where I live.
