Eston Hotel in Middlesbrough

Brilliant Night spent here in a double room the staff were friendly the rooms where kept were clean and food was really good couldnt ask for any better.

Stayed over night,great hotel very clean staff are very welcoming prices are excellent,we ordered two large Parmos and chips wow they were great best Parmos have tasted in a long time, compliment s to the chef, will definitely be back here highly recommend this place

Lovely, helpful people, nice food, clean rooms, great value for money. Need a fan in the bedroom on hot nights though!!!

Wont go there again you get told off for using a phone and told to go outside

Called here last night for a meal. Could not fault it. Food very good. Staff pleasant and helpful. Well worth giving this place a visit.

On 19th March 2019. I booked to stay at this hotel via a website called qbook to stay the bank holiday weekend in May with no problems and receiving a confirmation email at the same time.On 25th March I then received the most appallingly written, unprofessional email I have ever received from a “professional” company. It went into my junk email, which I understand as it looks like it was written by a three year old.The spelling and grammar of the email was terrible with in proper use of paragraphs, no full stops, lack of apostrophise and no capital letters. I am by no means an English teacher, however I would expect a much better written email from a professional company stating that they had just taken over, the rooms were not available and did not have access to them. When I replied back to state it was not good enough was just told to “there is no way I can amend it if you want to take it out with head office please feel free to do so.” Which I am also doing.The emails stated saidhi-just received a booking from you via QBookwe have recently taken over and our rooms are not ready for occupation right now butAlso the dates your looking for have been booked already by the occupier previous to ourselves.we donot have access to the online booking site so we are just receiving emails for rooms that are unavailableim sorry for the inconvenienceThe Eston HotelGood eveningThank you for your email.This is simply not good enough. You are advertising rooms as available when you do not have them as available. This is completely unacceptable and will ensure that people are aware of this on the relevant sources to not book at your hotel. Good place for a quiet pint.

Just nipped in to the Eston Hotel tonight after about 2 years of avoiding it. What a pleasant surprise to find Richard and Jackie behind the bar and to find the pub so clean, smelling fresh and welcoming. And to have a cracking pint of lager that tastes great. I will go back

They only sell keg beer but the people were really friendly. The saving Grace I suppose is that the beer is sold at a competitive price.

Not the liveliest of pubs but its a Sam Smiths so the beer is cheap

5star all day.

I live down the road handy for me you could say Im a regular.Would like to see more people frequenting love company why sit at home and talk to the Missus and have the children pestering you get out youhave worked all day.MAYBE tomorrow never comes

This pub is not a good place met up with family to exchange gifts asked if kids could come in they said yes then the kids werent allowed to breathe would not recommend this place.

Nice for a chilled pint

After finishing work in Eston on the way home we spotted a sam smiths bar so we had to stop for a taster. Decent pint (no where near as good as the linny like friendly staff and that typical sam smiths decor.
