Clean and tidy great location

We just love the room we mostly stay in and the location. Sam and Troy are great hosts. So friendly.

Pleasantly surprised with my one night stay while in Armidale.I made a phone booking to stay one night on a last minute trip. The owner/manager was friendly and recommended a good local pub to go to for dinner. We checked in at night time on a cold winters evening and I appreciated how the heat pump was on in the room for us.The room itself must have been upgraded as it looked more modern than the pictures on the website. Clean, tidy and surprisingly spacious, it exceeded my expectations.Location couldnt be better, just around the corner from the main town eateries.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean and tidy.Only negative is smoking is allowed on the premises.

We stayed in the same room a few years ago and it has definitely been let go a little since then. The lounges are well weathered and need replacing as they are very dirty. No working batteries in the remote. All cups were dirty and the washing up cloth was pre-used and brown. Its just the little things that make a difference to whether you want to come back on your next visit.

It was nice place to spend a night with family. Located in very convenient location. Could walk easily to your favourite fast food shops. Clean and tidy rooms and friendly service.Only thing I could not find was a couple of whisky glasses.

Staff/owner was helpful and friendly from my phone call to book until my checkout. Room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. I would happily stay again and would highly recommend.

Nice old hotel.that has been refurbished. A bit noisy in the morning with the traffic.

Have stayed in a few hotels in my travels and the bed is always uncomfortable, well picked a winner great bed,great staff.will definitely stay again.

I always stay at the Estelle Kramer whilst in Armidale, the hosts Samantha & Troy are fantastic and are always accommodating to my needs. I travel a fair bit with work and Ive found my stays a very refreshing experience.

Very comfy bed. Nice and quiet. Very little road noise. Only negative was no comfy relaxing seating spot after a day driving & working as I somehow ended up in a family room with 3 beds.

Stayed in Room 15 which has been renovated.The service at checkin with Sam was impeccable even allowing us to checkin early as we had two small children.Super clean and tidy, Beautiful bathroom!Great location, the family rooms are tucked away at the back so it’s quiet and nice.

Traditional type of motel but clean. Some rooms are newly renovated. Location excellent in town, walkable to shops and restaurants. Rooms not facing road so relatively quiet. My only choice when staying at Armidale.

Stayed 2 nights in 3 bedroom apartment. Place is very clean and maintain well. People who manage the place are very helpful. very reasonable price in mid of the city center.

What a great place to stay! We had the two bedroom apartment, and it was perfect for us (2 x adults, 2 x teenagers).The apartment is a nice little size for a holiday, with reverse cycle aircon that did well to keep out the cold. The kitchen is tidy... A little tight if youre looking to do a big cookup, but enough to make eggs for breakfast.The position of the apartment is perfect! Easy walking distance to a choice of restaurants, bars and shops.I would definitely stay there again.

Well looked after motel, friendly staff, our room was recently renovated so well worth the stay. Within easy walking distance of a bunch of pubs and restaurants.

We travel to Armidale regularly and love staying here. The family apartment is like a home away from home with extra bedrooms and big bathroom with separate toilet. Staff are super friendly and breakfast is awesome. Close walk to shops, restaurants, pubs, and schools - great for boarding parents like us. Renovated rooms are stunning!!!

Clean room, family owned and run and not expensive at all. Looking forward to breakfast in the morning. It looks delicious and also inexpensive.

The motel is old, which isn’t a problem, it was the fact that the room was so rundown. It also hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time judging by the dust and the spiderwebs.

A quiet and enjoyable place to stay..living 3 weeks here is just like living in my own house..with friendly house keepers and boss himself is a great man with open arms..friendly&welcoming...Arnold J Lemah

Beds were comfy and fitted with electric blankets, it was clean and the manager was nice but i wouldnt stay there again. The room was cold and the central heating did very little to warm it up, the tv remote didnt work and it was very expensive for what it is.

Great family motel. Nice and warm on a winters night with central heating and electric blankets. Welcoming and friendly staff too. They recommended the hotel around the corner for a great meal and gave road advice when asked. Would definitely stay here again.

I think its nice and cozy the bathroom is big and it has a spa and all beds are equipped with electric blankets so thats it 😁

Have had the opportunity to stay on at least 6 occasions in the last 4 months. Have utilised the 3br units and single units at different times and found them to be very good. Yes they are older units, however are perfectly suited for family and business purposes and are an easy walk to the various pubs and shopping areas. Good value for money.Reception was great, couldnt do enough for us.

Nice clean rooms with good amenities such as, electric blankets, kettle, microwave etc.Checked in unexpectedly at midnight and the lady was very nice even though we woke her up.Price was reasonable for a twinshare with one single and a queen.Would recommend and visit again.

Clean rooms well appointed (unit 11 was hugeand most importantly quiet.The lovely lady at the reception couldnt have been nicer. Also importantly only a short walk to the Welders Dog for a craft brew and a pizza.Will definitely stay again.

My dad and I will be staying at this motel whenever we go to Armidale. The managers are awesome, they couldnt do enough for us. Most motels wont let you book in until 2pm. As my dad was ill we arrived there at 11am and were able to book in then. The rooms are big and very very clean. Really lovely place. Even have an outside bbq.

These other reviews are old and wrong. I stayed last night. My room was very clean, spacious, modern, and well equipped. Clearly everything has been redone since 2 years ago when other reviews were written. I appreciated the wifi and the very friendly staff. I also had one of the best nights sleep I have had in a while. Peaceful and uninterrupted . Lots of dinner options in the immediate vicinity, great coffee across the street from the stand in the morning.
