Une catastrophe ! Le cadre est plutôt sympa. Nous avons cependant attendu deux heures pour être servi, de même que les plats nétaient pas terribles. Nous étions 10, et avons tous partagé cette impression.

Endroit typique. Plats tunisiens à découvrir. Coucous Essaraya (agneau, semoule et fruits secsspécial un peu sec malgréle jus rapporté ensuite.la viande est bonne, la semoule délicieuse mais cest un ensemble surprenant.La serveuse très attentive, souriante, le serveur attentionné, un peu endormi (chaleur peut être). Bon service, après une petite animation musicale.

Restaurant dont le cadre est magnifique.Par contre, couscous très basique, sans saveur, et très sec. Très pauvre en légumes, quasiment que des patates, et une seule variété de poisson, peu noble, moyennement frais...Première et dernière fois pour nous🥺

Beautiful place in the middle of the medina, absolutely recommended the cuscus with meat, dry fruit & almonds (best cuscus ever). Furthermore, we loved the guy who brought us outside of the Medina at the end of dinner with a lantern

fantastic food, live music, and setting. the journey to find the restaurant is well worth it - don’t give up right away! pricier than local restaurants but very reasonable for european tourists

Gorgeous palace ! in love with every detail from wood roof, engraved walls, paintings, tables savoir faire.... Felt like hidden travel in time ❤️ In Ramadan great mood, delicious tunisian food, very professional and nice staff.

A hidden gem in the Medina. Breathtaking historic architecture, sublime food, gracious hosts and the most beautiful live guitar/vocal music. Magical.

All seemed too quiet, but with a knock on the door, we were lead into a beautiful empty room with nice ambiance, when the live music started. We had a delicious meal, with good service, at affordable prices. Thank you to the musician, servers and cooks for a lovely meal. Highly recommend!!

I had a very good dinner, not so cheap but, it was worth it! Couscous Essaraya is delicious and the live music really gives an special touch!

Wonderful place and food

Difficult to find, but so worth it. Food is delicious and the live lut player provided a chill vibe.

We went as part of group tour for dinner. It will be difficult to find as this place is practically in a maze. Three knocks on the door and you will be let into a beautiful restaurant. They had live music which you can dance to.Food - 3 courses. Entree (mezze/ mixed platewas almost the size of a main and main (couscous with lambwas almost the size of a bucket. We had 2 perfectly sized desserts and finished off with mint tea.The atmosphere was so welcoming you would love to stay longer! We left pretty late at night and had a local security escort us out the medina.

Very kind staff.We could not understand French or Arabic, yet the staff amazingly explained what they could serve. Food was excellent and really tasty. Highly recommendable!!

Ended up at Essaraya after being bounced from Dar El Jeld for not making a reservation (it was me alone, though). Turns out Essaraya has nothing to envy (except for the lack of alcoholic drinks). Food was great and service too. Extremely affordable!

Typical authentic food in a nice ambiance. Try the molokhia. Life music was amazing.

Who wants to have a traditional Tunisian meal in a great old building, is here right.
