We have been eating at Espo,Esposito, for over 40 years. Excellent food but I miss the Manicotti!

Drove from Lehigh Valley PA to have dinner here a few times and its totally worth it! The foods amazing and the drinks are just as good. From the kitchen to the management, it was clear they love what they do- 10/10.Heads up for nitpickers- insides a little small, they dont take reservations, and you need to park on the street.

Service was awesome and the homemade ricotta was amazing. We sat outside on the patio.

We recently moved right around the corner and Espo’s has quickly became our go-to spot! We’ve never had something on the menu that we didn’t like. My personal favorite is the eggplant parm—it’s the best I’ve ever had!!! If you check out their website or insta, they have special menu items daily.

Fantastic old school Italian. I had the Sunday gravy special and it was superb. The sauce was obviously simmering all day.Nice dark red, no water and the meats and pasta were to die for.

The best Italian restaurant around. Portions were huge. They have a full bar. So if you have to wait for a table, which you probably will have to, you can get a drink. They dont take reservations. Its first come, first served. We went on a Sunday night and only waited 15 minutes. Your milage may vary. Would definitely go back.

I used to be a big fan but something has changed ....my wife had Linguini and clam sauce while it was good it was half the size it used to be And I had the eggplant parmesan and Im not sure what the heck it even was It was a big square of bread in the middle of the plate That I Believe had some eggplant inside of it I know Im sorry it was not good nothing like what it used to be Not sure if they got a new cook or if theyre under new management but I was actually very disappointed sad to say ....I drove all the way from PA raving about the place to friends .....I wont go back I can find the same out here

Went in for a drink to check it out. So far so good. The bartender was great very knowledgeable. Making plans to go back for dinner.

Wonderful time for our Mother’s day meal. Everything was great; food, wine, service and music. They met our expectations and more. Officially, it is now my most favorite restaurant.

1st time here and will definitely come back. All the food (calamari, seafood fra diavlo, and my husbands chicken parm with rabewas delish and cooked to perfection. Very cute establishment hidden in a residential area. A must try...you wont be disappointed.

I had been wanting to try this place and Im so glad that I did. I was very surprised to find the whole restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night, which was a good sign. The food and drinks were delicious and the prices were reasonable. Our waiter, Patrick, suggested the hotsy totsy shrimp with vodka sauce and Im still dreaming about it! It was SOOOO good! I cant wait to go back and Patrick was an awesome waiter too!

Found the place accidentally and was blown away. Split chicken parm and pork chops with my babe and both were amazing, portions are off the plate...come hungry. The staff, theyre as good as the food.

Espo’s has always been a great restaurant. Since 1974 it’s been a staple for those of us who prefer independently owned v. chains. Under new ownership it’s been stepped up. The original menu has been respected, yet it’s been improved & expanded. The renovation is quite remarkable yet it maintains that comfortable vibe that was loved by so many. Bravo to the new owners for doing such a great job. While the original owner is missed, he would certainly be glad that after 44 years at the helm, this place lives on.

A classic Italian establishment that has been here for over 20 years and just gets better with time. Knowledgeable friendly staff, reasonable prices in a cozy building. The chicken parmesan is the best I have ever had. Red sauce is the way to go with anything you order

Best restaurant I have ever been to. Me and my family go here almost every week or special event and Ive never had a meal here that wasnt great. Everyone on the staff is incredibly nice and the service is very good. Just remember they dont take reservations so theres a small chance you might have to wait a little bit before they get a table, but Ive never had to wait any more than 10 minutes. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Food was almost as good as years back. It has definitely become more upscale than I remember. A little pricey for Italian pasta dishes, but they do serve healthy portions.

Tonight I had the worst experience. I went to dinner with two of my friends. We had just finished dessert and finishing the last of our beers when we were told we had to leave because they were busy and didn’t have enough tables. Paid $140 dollars for dinner. I do not appreciate being told to leave after spending that much. I went inside and immediately ask to speak with the manager. He then still gave me the excuse that they are so busy. I said I understand, then put more tables outside to accommodate more people or tell people about the wait time. He gave me his business card and that was it. Told me he would do something for us if we came back in but I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon.

It was an absolute delight eating, drinks, and socializing at Espos! Being from Montana, where there is a a major lack of quality Italian food, I made Espos a must stop on my one day visit. The staff (especially Chrissy), the food, the setting, and the welcoming environment made for a night to cherish for years to come.

First time here. It has two sitting area : indoor and outdoor choice. For indoor seating, youll enjoy the bar atmosphere. We did not drink so we chose outdoor seating. Food was tasty, I ordered their famous steak parm - medium rare : It was really good. The hotsy totsy shrimp appetizer was also delicious. Staffs were friendly and helpful.... They dont accept reservations and only Friday has lunch.. This is why only 4 stars from me.

Food and service was excellent. Throughly enjoyed the Chicken Parm with a side of Rigatoni with vodka sauce.

Nestled in what seems to be a residential neighborhood is this little restaurant that one of our party told us their family has been going to for a long time. It is a small space, with tables inside and out. There are no reservations accepted, but I would wait for a table.There is a full bar and the staff is friendly and attentive. Currently, social distancing is in place, masks are worn and sanitizer is available.We ordered Shrimp Oreganato as an appetizer. We loved the amount of garlic! For main courses, we had Chicken Parm, Ravioli Espos (this one includes seafoodand this reviewer chose Espos Famous Steak Parm. I asked for the steak medium and it came perfectly cooked throughout. The cheese and sauce took the steak over the top.We were not rushed and I wish we had room for dessert, but that would not happen on this visit. There is a reason this place has been around for so long and seems to have survived the current pandemic. It is a little gem and highly recommended.

My Wife and I had the pleasure of dinner at Espos Saturday night. I was hoping that it wouldnt be a sad nostalgic walk down memory lane, just a chance to remember how great it once was. It was, happily, both of those but it was much, much more. Other than much needed upgrades, it is essentially unchanged from the last time we were there. Nick, and Kevin deserve our thanks for keeping such a neighborhood icon alive so we all can enjoy it. I hope soon to meet them to say so. At our servers recommendation, I had the ravioli vodka with shrimp and crab meat. It was absolutely spectacular! Next time Ill go with my old favorite, steak parm. In short, the place, the food, the people, and the atmosphere, all perfect. Since I first set foot in Espos in the late spring of 1979 as a 20 year old student at SCTI, to now, years later, it has been a constant in my life no matter what else was going on. There arent words to express how cool it is to have it back. One suggestion, though if I may to Nick and Kevin: Somewhere, someone has to have a snapshot of Billy Sweeney squeezing between two people holding two hot dishes with towels over their heads saying "Alright folks, who gets the braciole? Like to see that hanging somewhere.

You MUST try the porkchops! What a flavorful and delicious dish! The steak is also amazing and the shrimp appetizer is one of the best. Great service and value!

The food was SO GOOD!!!!! I mean, outrageously good. I have never gotten chicken parm out anywhere, (Ill get veal parm at Spiritos, but thats its own special thingmy bf got it and it was delicious! I had chicken and vodka sauce, and it was some of the best vodka sauce I ever had! Not just marinara with a ton of cream, it was really light and garlicky with chunks of tomato. Overall, just a really nice dinner. Our waitress was great. She was alone and there was a party in the back, all the tables had people eating and the bar had people eating. She didnt miss a thing, took time to be friendly and was so attentive to details (new napkins and silverware every course, cheese only comes in those little containers and she made sure we had plenty cause himself eats it like theres no tomorrow). I cant wait to go back!

Everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food was amazing! I had the Ravioli Espos and my boyfriend had the Pork Chop Giambotta special. our waitress was absolutely lovely!

We dined there just prior to the recent pandemic restrictions that forced them to temporarily close the dining room. Espos offers awesome hometown Italian fare at a great price. Newly renovated by the new owners who were careful to maintain the feel and menu that is very reminiscent of the original restaurant. Warm and welcoming with a friendly staff, well stocked bar and amazing specials.Hoping the dining room can open soon but in the mean time take advantage of their complete take out and delivery service. Highly recommended!

Eapos is still very good. Small place so helps to have a reservation. Tasty Italian and big portions.

Ive been here before over the years, so it was interesting to see if under new ownership. The more things change the more they stay the same. Yes, theyve replaced the chalk boards with paper menus. But the food is still as tasty and delicious as ever. And theyve added a couple more TV so that was handy during the playoffs. But it is still a tight navigation with so many tables on the floor. And, if I wasnt with a party of 6, no restaurant is worth a 2 hour wait. That completely took away any pleasure I had for the meal.The food does not outweigh the wait. Like I said, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Great to have Espos back. So happy to see many of the old menu choices still available along with new items. Had a great meal, the special Grilled Pork Chop Murphy was excellent. You could cut the chop with a butter knife. The shrimp appetizer with marinara sauce was ample to share and tasty.

Steak parm is amazing, the sauce was well flavored and you can definitely tell they put a lot of TLC into the food. Dont expect to have a quiet conversation. Energy here is lively and loud.

A no-frills, delicious Italian restaurant. The menus are written on chalkboard around the restaurant. Their selection is a bit small, but everything I had was delicious. The portions are generous, and the sauce is phenomenal. They make sure to serve their plates with plenty of sauce, so I recommend against wearing a white shirt!I came with family on a Saturday night. It was busy, but the noise level was very manageable. Overall, a fantastic experience.

This place is tiny and packed tight. There are no menus. You have to read the menu on one of the chalkboards scattered around the room. The food is very simple no frills Italian. The gravy is chunky and garlicy. Well done.

My wifes family has lived in Raritan for over 4 generations. Espos is an incredible restaurant and bar just 5 blocks from her family home and a favorite for get togethers and late night fun. The wall-to-wall wood and dark lighting might not be your bag, however if it is, and you feel like revisiting that scene in the Godfather, Espos is the place.Their modest but fine food menu features traditional Italian dishes and local favorites. This small town has a large Italian population and the fact that Espos has endured for many decades, operating out of a house in the neighborhood, indicates to me a winner. Have a drink at the bar after your meal and trade stories with the gang.
