Espettos Brazilian Grill in Riverside

The pastel was good, but it wasn’t the Brazilian style more like a Porto rican style and it took way too long and too overpriced for the 3 inch size pastel they serve

My wife and I are new to the area and have been slowly trying the various restaurants in the Canyon Crest Towne Centre. We eventually came across Espettos Grill and had to try it. We ordered the X-Tudo and the Kafta sandwich based off of customer reviews online. I ordered the food to-go and called the storefront to place my order. I was greeted with a friendly employee and he helped me with any of my questions or concerns regarding the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, I cannot express that enough. I was completely shocked after opening the to-go containers to find the food still looked exactly like the photos presented on their website. This tells me that they take pride in their presentation but more importantly their heritage and how they share that pride through their food. If you are in the Riverside Area passing through this quiet neighborhood looking for a place to eat, Espettos Grill is as authentic Brazilian food as you can get. Its almost like a small Brazilian oasis in Riverside County.

Situated off the 60 fwy in a cozy Town Center, Espettos is a great place to enjoy Brazilian cuisine and ambiance. The dishes are light and airy full of rich flavors.

I went to get a GC for my boss! The staff was very nice and informative! They have a patio to eat outside and some tables inside! Would be nice place to sit outside have a good meal and a drink! Neat place!I will go back and eat there! 🙂

Tastes great but the serving size couldve been a little more generous. The pao de quejo and coxinha were very tiny for what you pay for.

Great food that you cant find anywhere else in Riverside. They serve Feijoada on Sunday that is delicious. Decent selection of craft beer tall cans. My only critique would be to get a couple of beers on tap!

Im grateful to have a Brazilian restaurant in Riverside and the food is good but imo the portions are a little too small and the price is slightly too high. Would still recommend though.

Finally a good spot for Brazilian food and South American flavors without driving 40 miles from home. The food is cooked fresh to order and its quite tasty.. They also offer an interesting and appealing selection of wines by the bottle or glass ... and a nice unique craft beers ...Theyve recently reopened after Covid shutdown.We were glad to dine there again ... the food is as good as ever!

An excellent menu of good flavors and not over-salted. An excellent take out option during Covid crisis. Did not disappoint- first time there, worthy of support.

This place is amazing me and my wife eat here at least three times a month for the last two years. The owners are great people, they offer an outstanding experience. The food is unbelievable, tri tip and yuca its our favorite.

That was fast! 40 minutes from ordering we received my MOST favorite home delivered dinner throughout this entire COVID time. My carved pork was like eating a ton of bacon over rice and the yucca fries were so crisp and yummy. Lets do it again! Highly recommend.

Delicious! We tried the pork sandwich, the sausage sandwich, and the steak sandwich, all three were really good. The cheese balls and yucca fries are really good too! 😍😍😍

Great spot with comfortable outside seating. We tried their sandwiches which were awesome, my favorite was the pork which was slightly sweet as it was cooked with pineapple. Also the yucca fries and cheese bread are delicious. Great food!

Delicious food, great service, lovely patio! We had the chicken and chicken/bacon skewers, the fantastic house salad, rice and black beans, then plantains for dessert. Everything was wonderful and the staff are very friendly. This was a great date night! Masks are required until you are seated on the patio due to COVID-19. Seating is limited.

I’m so happy I found this place! The food is so good and makes me miss Brazil so much! Ordered a ton and everything was amazing. The owners are super nice and the restaurant is so cute. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend, and love having a Brazilian restaurant in Riverside!!

Service was very good and the food was fresh and well made. The Yucca fries where ok but the breading kind of took over the flavor and the sauces that came with it didnt seem to work with the Yucca. The pork sandwich said shaved pork on the menu but came out as chunks, it was not bad but ended up kind of soggy. The best part was the skewer plate with bacon wrapped chicken and Carne (Tri-Tip). Both meats where good and the rice and beans where delicious. Over all a good experience and we will probably come back!

Had a pleasant meal at this little place. The food is freshly made and the tri tip skewers were juicy and flavorful, enjoyed the fluffy rice and flavorful black beans for sides. Friendly and attentive service order counter helped guide the vegetarians and carnivores in our group to make satisfying meal selections.

Awesome food with great customer service. It is a family ran restaurant which makes it so much more special. We had the chicken and tri tip skewers with a pastel if ground beef. It was all perfectly juicy and seasoned. I couldve ate there all day. My biggest regret is not eating there sooner.

Great authentic Brazilian cuisine. Awesome must try feijoada only served on sunday as it takes about a day to stew. Relaxing atmosphere and and the staff are genuinely excited about the food they serve as they should be.

Quality grilled meats with a cozy interior makes this a great spot for a fast casual meal. The skewers were a fair price, but my only quibble would be that the side of beans and rice were slightly on the pricier side. Aside from that, the meal was delicious, and I will definitely be coming back.Overall, I would recommend this place for any dedicated foodie in the Riverside area.

I was really happy to see this place open, its really a unique place to eat. The food takes a little while to make because they make it from scratch when you order, which is nice. The Frango Com Bacon (chicken wrapped baconwas not too bad, but my favorite was the Kafta (ground beef with minced veggies), but I am partial to beef, so take that with a grain of salt. The juice drinks were pretty refreshing too, but I cant remember which one I had. I mostly went off of what was recommended by the chef since it was my first time there, but I was definitely not disappointed. Ill be back soon!

Food is tasty but wish there was more meat in the empanadas and a little on the pricey side 3.50 for 1 empanada but I like that the food has a very unique taste. I will go back again!

This little gem was a nice discovery. My Husband and I are both South American and we both fell in love with this restaurant which has great food that brings good memories to us. The owner is so nice and the staff are very friendly. We would have to travel to Orange County or Long Beach to find good South American food, this place is only 10 minutes away! We always go on Sundays for the feijoada, our favorite along with the yucca fries. We go at least once a week.Very cozy place to come and enjoy a good meal.

Excellent service but even better food! The carne (tri-tipand the Frango com bacon (chicken wrapped in baconis what I had, and it was laid over a side of rice and black beans. It was so delicious! So tender! I will definitely be coming back!

Vibe:The interior decor displays a mid scale vibe with glass chandeliers over dinning tables. The art work provides pleasing esthetics that reminisce an urban Brazilian take.food:The food was fantastic, everything made to order. I’ve tried 90% of their menu and I never leave disappointed. My recommendation is to combo meal because it provides a well balanced platter. This time I tried to be Keto so I replaced the gains with the papaya salad and I was not disappointed.Service:I met the owners and as many of you have too, they are beautiful couple that put customer needs first. They are extremely polite and their employees pick up on that.Treat them well, cheers my friends.

The staff is friendly, the location is nice and the restaurant is inviting. The menu offers various items, allowing for a varied tasting of Brazilian food. The black beans were delicious, as was their "salsa" type topping. The chicken was cooked and seasoned well and the food was quite filling. The only 2 negatives, the tri tip was tough, overcooked, so it was very chewy. Secondly, the cost of the food was a little steep.

Stopped by here the other night with my wife and daughter, both born and raise in Brazil. All of us loved the food, was very tasty!!Only thing missing was the Brazilian beer

This place is a gem. We live close by but never noticed it until recently. We decided to give it a try and were amazed! We ordered the single skewer plate (chicken), yucca fries, and the pork sandwich. The flavors were incredible and the staff so warm and pleasant. The Canyon Crest location is really nice too - perfect little area with the patio and all. Their selection of beer is very interesting too. Definitely found out new spot xx.

This place was amazing. Wait time on food was to be expected as everything was prepared fresh. Staff was beyond friendly they gave me 10% off my entire meal for service member discount. I must reiterate that the staff was just wonderful it was a breath of fresh air. This my first Brazilian experience and it could not have gone better. Food was fresh exceptional and hot. I tried a little bit of everything and it was great. However I was still hungry leaving but I cant really say anything about that either because I felt it priced well. Thank you for a wonderful experience for my date night with my wife.

Food is delicious. Very friendly and helpful. They describe menu to us. We both had the 2 plate and picked our meat. Loved the chicken wrapped in bacon. Comes with rice, black beans and a melody of fresh diced tomatoes almost like pico de gallo. I meant to take a picture but I was hungry. Also had plantain that comes with a chocolate sauce, yummy.

The house salad was delicious with a chicken skewer on top. The place was clean. It is small but has outside seating.

Service was good, food needs more seasoning. Our family is Brazilian, not the best example of the traditional flavors. Meat was a bit chewy.

I am so happy we found this cozy place! As a Brazilian, I can assure you their food tastes authentic and it is really well prepared. First time there we tried their pastel (according to my husband is the best he tried in his life - and we have been to so many Brazilian restaurants in the US!). We also tried the kafta espeto and yucca fries, both have a really good flavor too! Their pudim de leite is also amazing and a great choice if you want to have a desert that wont make you feel like you over did it! Besides the amazing food, we got to know the owners, who are great people and made our experience even better! We will be back!

Love this place. Food here sure brings me closer to home. The staff is so friendly and helpful. There is all kinds of meat and also Brazilian drinks. They also have variety of wine. I enjoy pretty much everything on the menu but my favorite is feijoada on sundays.

One of my favorite places to eat in Riverside. Excellent food in terms of quality, variety, and presentation, the service is top notch, and the owners are especially friendly and helpful. Brazilian food is just not something we have a lot of around here, so I’m glad I discovered this place!

Meat was good quality but there were only 6 pieces in my tri-tip sandwich! Plus there was about a pound of pico on top! Will NOT be coming here again.

I wasnt going to write a review untill I gave them another try, but after reading the rude responce she gave to Janet on yelp I knew we would not be back. As an owner you should not be talking down to customers about their spelling, she gave you a fair review and you had to post a nasty reply instead of apologizing and inviting her back which is hopefully a mistake you will learn from. Which she didnt, she also very rude in responding to my review as well. We support small businesses all we can but we will not be back because the owners are bullys. Its a shame, but enough of the back ground story, heres their review: We went a few days after opening, there was no line but it did take a while to get our food. Bread took 20 min because they were out and we had to wait for a new batch. There prices are a bit high. The beef didnt have much flavor but that bacon wrapped chicken was great. The rice was cold which was disappointing because I LOVE rice. The yucca fries were odd, Im not sure how they should taste but there were definitely missing some seasonings but the dipping sauce was good.Just remember they do not take kindly to criticism and they may talk down and bully you into never coming back..Beware

Nice place! Its changed a lot since when it was a burrito spot, everything is new, they have nice sitting area outside, and everything looks great and clean! Their food is not bad, they just opened and they didnt have everything available on the menu yet, but they had good skillets, a nice complete burger, yuka fries (those could improve!), and nice salads (like the papaya one, almost a desert or breakfast meal!). I cant wait to try some of the brazilian delicacies that they didnt have yet available! (Sundays they have a special Brazilian dish!).They also offer interesting California brewed beer, juices, sodas, and wine!
