Escapology San Diego in Tijuana

We took the kids and did the Budapest Express room. Our kids range from 7-17 and they all had a fun time. Daniella helped us so much. She was great with helping the kids out with clues. She definitely took great care of us. When we visit San Diego again we will definitely come back. Yes we did escape.

We escaped just in time! Such a great experience. Augustus was very friendly and accommodating. The room was well decorated an immersive highly recommend! Thanks again Augustus!

Our first escape room! Did the easiest room with our kids and another family. Great experience.

We did the Mansion Murder escape, which had a 9/10 difficulty. This was my second visit to escapology and the first for my companions. Our gamemaster was Augustus. We had a lot of fun. The decor was on point with the theme and the puzzles were unique and challenging. There wasnt a group scheduled for immediately after us, so we were given a chance to go a little overtime. We managed to escape! Definitely recommend.

Daniela was amazing. She was super kind and helpful the mansion murder room was so much fun. One of the most difficult rooms I have done by far, but it was a blast and we got lots of needed help (when asked for of course10/10 would play again!

The budapest train room was super fun. It was challenging and the details and clues were fun to figure out. Fun storyline too. Daniella helped us out and was very nice :)

Amazing time at escapology, Daniela was an amazing host, guided us through and give us hints when we needed them, made the experience wonderful, 10/10 thank you!

Amazing time! Really fun doing my first Escape room. Augustus was a great host and game master and kept the game incredibly entertaining.Edit: Came back this October and did the new Mansion Murder room! By far the hardest one! Shereen hosted us and kept us on our toes! Absolutely amazing experience and recommend for everyone to try!

It was fun! Game master Shereen was extremely helpful. Daniela was friendly and greeted us and gave us some helpful hints from the get go.

We chose the hardest room and while we lost, that was a great experience. Augustus did a fantastic job at giving us a great escape room experience. Till next time!

Had a great time here. It was my first time in an escape room and the employees were the nicest. one in particular was sylvi. She was really help and fun. All the silly questions i asked, she answered with no judgment and was really helpful and understanding. i’m definitely coming here again.

Sylvi was very helpful and made the experience a lot of fun. We didnt end up winning, but we got a lot of helpful clues, and it was overall a really fun and challenging experience!! I would do it again!:)

Cool experience, especially since it was my first escape room. The Budapest Express room (8.5 difficultyis decently challenging, and there are several rooms you have to navigate through. You get 3 free clues and for each following clue, you get 2 minutes deducted from the timer. As always, 1 hr for the room.

It was so much fun!!!! It was our first escape room ever and of course chose the hardest one to do 😰 but we had so much fun and solved about 60% of it anyway! Plus, our game master was so much fun ❤️ (Augustus. Loved the rooms that we managed to book another room for the next day just because 🐶❤️ - the eldest daughter

So much fun!!! This was a great family outing. This was our 1st room as a family and I wasnt sure how we were going to do but we had so much fun and we escaped! We will be back! The staff was so friendly too!

Highly recommend this escape room! Staff was really nice and so helpful. Special thanks to Shereen for helping us book it and Tina for guiding us along the way. The Budapest room we did was challenging for my family but we were able to figure it out just in time. Everything was set up neatly and was organized. Had tons of fun even if we don’t do escape rooms often.

Wow! What an incredible experience. This was so much more fun than I expected. We did the Mansion Murder Mystery and escaped with only a few seconds left. Highly recommended!

Had a great time. It was really challenging and fun! Highly recommend. Use the hints if you need to, the beginning was really hard but we got the hang of it after a couple hints.

Honestly one of my favorite places to come play an escape room. Not only are their rooms fun to play and a challenge, their lobby and customer service is great. Our game masters (weve played two rooms recentlyAlex and Augustus were really nice and helpful. Will definitely be going back.

We had an amazing time with our family today at Escapology’s Antidote room! We had a larger group with 4 adults, 4 teens and 1 kid and the youngest had the most fun. We did have to use all 3 of our hints to escape the room. The teens did have fun putting on the Hazmat suits during gameplay. We look forward to coming back to try the other 2 rooms!

Teana was awesome!! It was challenging - we didn’t get out - but it was still worth the fun ;thankfully she explained it all at the end. We were so close!

It was fun. We did the beginner room since it was our first time completing an escape room. Our host “Sha-reen” or “sha-ree” not sure how to spell it, was very nice and helpful. 🙌🏾 Definitely will come back.

First escape room for me as my daughter insisted and i got to say , we had a blast ! Was sceptical but i would do it again as we had so much fun ! Teana and the rest of the team were unbelievable with the greatest attitude. Loved it and recommend to any family or group of friends willing to spend the greatest time and make beautiful memories !

If you are looking for something fun to do with family, friends or coworkers. Look no further! Escapology has a variety of rooms to choose from and have different levels. My family and I choose to take on a challenge and booked the Murder Mansion. Shereen was extremely helpful and friendly during our booking process and accommodated me and my family. Her customer service was excellent! The staff was super nice and explained everything clearly. Although we could not escape in time we had a blast! Will definitely be recommending more friends and family to come to Escapology!

Escapology was the best escape room I’ve ever been to! Their room decor was top notch, and the design of the clues and puzzles was impressive! We had such a blast, and Teana amazing at cheering us on and giving us super helpful clues when we hit a wall. We will definitely be going back!

This place is at the beach and theres no where to park. We cruised around for about 20 minutes before we found a place and then had to run to make it on time for our booking. It wasnt worth the effort. Our group plays a lot of rooms and we were expecting a lot more. It was expensive. I gave them 1 star because the room looked good and 1 for the game because it was just kind of blah.

I will start by saying that the props and ambiance are put together nicely and very well thought out. I didn’t feel the same about the game, content or clues.I have done a few other escape rooms at different facilities and in comparison I didn’t find this one hard, I found it very confusing. We had to ask for multiple clues and although the clues made answers clear, I still couldn’t figure out how on earth I could have found those answers without being told.I felt like the instruction was lacking. A few tips for if you decide to go. The introductory video in the beginning, which usually provides context for the scenario, is actually full of information that you will need at the end of the game to solve the final puzzle. You will want to try to write down as much as possible unless you have a brilliant memory. We didn’t know that until the end when the game master told us that we should have memorized that. Unfortunately we were unable to go back and watch that video making it impossible to finalize some of the clues.Also, there are clues and props in different areas of the room. Some of those props need to be kept together in their groups. Others need to be linked together with other clues through the room but it’s impossible to know which need to stay put for later and which should be pooled together. Our strategy was to get every clue together into the center of the room to figure out which pieces went together which later made it impossible to solve the puzzle because at the end we couldn’t remember which group of clues belonged to area a, area b, etc. The game master’s response was that we should have memorized that. Those instructions would have been really helpful at the beginning.Lastly, I’ll speak for professionalism. Our game master was a very nice young man who really wanted to be helpful and we appreciated that. But, he came into our room multiple times throughout the game to talk to us which we felt kind of “broke character”. Also, we could hear the staff talking and laughing in their break room/control room the entire time. It sounded like a party and that also took away from the experience a little.Overall, I think there are a few ways that Escapology could improve this experience such as detailed instructions in the beginning of the game, clues with more purpose or intention, clarity of game objectives, and overall professionalism.I’m

First time doing an escape room. We did the antidote one. It was not that easy! Although we did have 15 mins to spare before our time ran out. It was fun! Shereen out guide was very helpful amd even gave us souvenir bracelets and took our pic at the end of the game. Would be doing this again and try the other rooms next time!

Very fun, It was most of the groups first time and Teana our host informed us of everything we needed to know. She was equally excited with us when we escaped and we look forward to doing this again because of her amazing energy!

So much fun!!! My group escaped both rooms back to back and each had unique puzzles I haven’t seen before. Budapest express was challenging but had a great puzzles and theming! The Lab room may be better for beginners but it was still very enjoyable! Highly recommend!! (The staff was also very accommodating for the service dog in our group!)

Had the best time at Escapology! Budapest Express room was challenging and fun. My boyfriend and I solved it with seconds to spare. Shereen was a fabulous host and game master. Must do if you’re in the area !

Well designed Escape Room! Great props and set. We couldn’t solve it. But that’s on us. We did not stay organized. Hostess was very helpful! The puzzles were clever, so it was cool when we figured something out. But it’s hard not to feel like total losers at the end.

“Budapest Express” is extremely well built and well written, and Augustus was so wonderful and welcoming! I came here with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. 10/10 would recommend! It’s also right inside Belmont Park, so perfect for a fun afternoon. :)

These are the best escape rooms in San Diego! I’ve done two rooms here so far with my family and friends and can’t wait to do the next one! Great experience for all ages. Augustus was our game master on Antidote and made it a wonderful experience!

Definitely not the best escape room I’ve ever done, but it was still fun. Worth doing, but don’t have super high expectations if you’re a seasoned escape roomer. We did both of their rooms. Our group of four made it out of the antidote room in something silly like under ten minutes? The time was so low that they couldn’t get it register on their system. The train room was much better in my opinion. Very cool location though!
