Mythical place in the center of Amsterdam. We went to a concert of a well known DJ and we had a great time. The entrance is a bit expensive for Amsterdam clubs, but you pay for the artist, who is usually outstanding. The overall experience was very good. We hope to return soon.

We spend whole night first time in this club, Djs performed well, all staff was helpful, drinks were good enough, atmosphere nice,toilet enterence 50 Eur cent only not 5 Eur; we will definetely go again

The club is spacious and have two floors for different types of music. However i saw one or more of the bouncers getting quite aggressive against people! They could kick someone out of the club in a better way, but no, they chose the most aggressive way to do it.

A great place inside and interesting music, but the women of the staff were very rude. I came with a big group and I got out for a moment, when I returned I show them the bracelet that the local itself gave as a pass and the two blond women said they didnt know our bracelet and wanted me to pay again the ticket with a very rude behaviour, even when the cashier himself recognised me and explained them. I didnt want to discuss so I showed them my locker receipt just to pick up my things and go home and they wanted me to pay even for my own things 😂 finally, I entered thanks to other staff members, but if you dont know how to do your work at least dont shout to your client 😅

If your girls!!! better watch out in this club,The security guys will harass you and make you look like it’s your fault, we just had the experience, we called polices too but because they’re security people they have more right than the customer by saying we are drunk, all and all this club is not safe for the women.

Great atmosphere! The DJ’s, service and the show was amazing!

They will not allow you in depending on the fabric of your shorts... 🤷‍♂️ Once inside the employees will force you to rent a locker. Not that much for all the trouble!

Please don’t go there! I’m a local and I used to go there very often long time ago, so I though let me bring friends and show them the famous Escape. After tonight please please just don’t go there! waste of money! Tonight I was with 2 other friends, we got mega expensive locker for 10euro’s and a friends jacket just didn’t fit it in the small locker, so he kept it on. After 2 min he got kicked and dragged out by 5 bouncers. Very aggressive. 5 guys kicking one small guy on the ground. And why??? I’m still shocked that there are such places in Amsterdam. So please everyone just don’t go there!!! Go to Melkweg or Paradiso. Any place in Amsterdam is better than this one!! Tourist trap!

It is very complicated to entrance. They no accept card only cash. Inside they have machine for you put your clothes but do you need to do download of their system for you open the machines. It was stressful. The day how I went I saw one big fight between the people and guards. So I dont wanna back

used to be my best club, BUTWe went for a smoke, firstly we were said that we will be easily let in, but instead of allowing people to enter the club (the one who already has stamp), they made the whole queue stay under the pouring rain.And what do u think people who went for a smoke wear? exactly, they don’t have coat.So 2am, Amsterdam, pouring rain, 20 people staying in useless line to enter second time, everyone is soaking.

Charged us 22 euros for a vodka red bull and when we realised how much they’d charged us wouldn’t refund it. So overpriced on top of expensive entry fee plus you have to pay to use the toilets. Music was just some random guy thinking it was his concert and singing along terribly. Don’t get me wrong had a decent night but only because it was so bad it was laughable

They check your pockets worse than at the airport. I had a pill (for stomach treatmentand they said it’s extacy 🤦🏻‍♂️I stayed in the VIP area where my jacket was stolen.The music is disco style, mixed from everything.

Went on a Thursday. Music wasn’t very good, floor wasn’t packed, expensive drinks, locker fees, bathroom fees. Wouldn’t recommend for college students.

Best club ever! Went on a Wednesday night! Music and both Djs were amazing!!! Like really amazing! Their mixes were super great! Had a bit of everything but you can shake it off completely!! Bar men gave anExcellent service!!! Definitely will visit again!!! No doubt you will love this place!! By far one of the best clubs Ive been to!!! Thank you for an amazing night in Amsterdam!!! On a Wednesday night!!!!

The music could have been better but the venue was cool and the staff were lovely especially Andy (the bouncerwho helped us find our way home when we couldn’t find any taxis.

If Jennifer Cooke is DJing I strongly recommend staying far clear of this club. Would’ve payed the €18 cover not to go in if I had known

AVOID!!!!This is absolutely a tourist trap.money for entry, drinks way too expensive; vodka sprite & gin and tonic 24 euro (singles), they try to scam you with the coat, charge you extra for the toilet & the music is bad!

It was alright I’d say. 18€ entrance fee plus 5€ for the jackets. Nice djs that actually played a combination of electro house and mainstream pop songs with a touch of that fine Dutch house taste. There were some annoying people inside that should have been denied entry, but we managed to dance without bumping into them lol

Very over rated and expensive.Visited on a Saturday night. Long queue and then charged 20 Euros to get in, then 5 euros to put jackets etc in locker and you MUST do this as not allowed jackets or coats inside. Charged for using the toilet each time!!! How awful!!Staff were not very nice either.Better places to spend your money and have a good night. Escape was not worth it in the slightest

This place would be better without sax man. Sax is too loud, I couldn’t hear the track due to sax. Also, it’s disgusting to pay for WC after you paid for an entrance.

Literally one of the best clubs that I have been to, and I’m from the state. Professional, wonderful atmosphere, and great DJ. Also they are very cautious about the sound level. They give earplugs if you need them. I went there 3 times, and every time I go they prove me right that they are one of the best ever. The servers are wonderful and professional. The manager John is just pure gold he addresses all your concern if you have any. I absolutely recommend giving this club a try and do not let some of the negative reviews fool you it was absolutely fabulous.

I went with a group of friends and we ended the night in the hospital because of a guy who decided to throw a glass on the dance floor from behind the DJ set that smashed on my friends head! Security pretended to care but we never found out who the culprit was. Therefore not at all a safe place so absolutely not recommended. If I could I would give a 0.

Music was terrible, the only good thing about this club is the interior. Some guy screaming on the mice the whole time… seems like they never heard electronic music. If u want quality DJs and quality music this is not the place…

Night was amazing! Staff were so helpful and the facilities were great. But no girl would go near me so it was probably the worst night of my life.

Fun club and good DJ. Mediocre sound quality though, loud but lo-fi.

This place is expensive, so be prepared to spend a little money.On a thursday night (albeit during vacation time so it was crowded): 10€ entry, 5€ locker, 5€ for nightlong toilet entry (otherwise 0.70€ each time), Tap beer is 4.90€, but that was empty, so the cheapest booze was bottled heineken for 6.50€. So yeah a 3 beer night totaled 39.50€.If you highly value fancy light effects, this place could be nice for you, cause the light effects are much cooler than average.The space in the club is disproportionally distributed between pleb and private table space. About half the space is for private tables. As such it can feel way more crowded than it needs to be. For me personally, Im not going here again. But if you like spending money on a private table and appreciate lighting effects, this place could be nice.

We were turned away for merely trying to bring in a bag - despite happily offering to have the bags searched! This would be reasonable if we had been told this before queuing for over 20 minutes, but we weren’t. Certainly won’t be coming here again!

No, no, no. You pay for the entrance and then extra for toilets (0,5 €). The music is not really good (the sound wasnt impressive as well). "MC" shouts to the microphone... cheap projection. I really didnt like it. I think there must be better clubs in Amsterdam if you have good taste of music.

They didnt let me in for no reason. Just because there were two people in front of me who didnt fit the dresscode they didnt let me in thinking I was part of their group. I asked them why I am not being let in and they just kept saying: "No, go"

We cannot recommend this club as the owners are age discriminatory towards 18-20 year olds. To deliberately exclude people from a certain age group for a party on a Saturday night, even though they are of age, and not even to communicate this accordingly in social media, is unfortunately unacceptable to me. We travelled half an hour by taxi because the club approached us. We did not receive an explanation for this strange rule. Very unfortunate and extremely questionable regulations. Here we have to be careful!

100% best club in Amsterdam. Great music, lights, special affects, vip service - not cheap, but worth the splurge.

Alarm "went off" for 30 minutes but nothing was wrong (just a hardware problem), staff didnt event try to make it up to the clients. When asked for refund they said it wasnt their fault even though their dj was complaining about the problem. Couldve offered something in return for the 20 euros we paid per person to get in, but they didnt care. Their answer was "music is back on, you can go back in..." while everyone was leaving

The prices are already ridiculous, but still the bartenders will try to trick you into paying more. I ordered 10 sodas for mixing, and was asked to pay 120 euros with the bartender hoping I wouldnt notice the price on the display. I asked how that price was possible, and was told that the reason was "math is hard", I ended up paying about half the amount, which was still way too much.

I always attend this club because its never disappoints me BUT last night i attend it and the event was Hip hop which i didnt mind totally but the Djs were so bad!! Transition between songs so bad and the guy with black and blond hair kept shouting for hours!! Plz escape bring more experienced djs for such events!

Were at a „house“ party on a friday - it was great. Super vibes, cool people, nice bartenders only minus is that you gotta pay 0.50€ for the toilet.

It is one of the best places in Amsterdam, the music was excellent!! The only negative thing was that we were charged twice, and they even called security because I refused to pay unless they brought what I ordered, and all that for…..wait for it… 9 euros 😂. But the overall experience was great and it would be a mistake to give a bad review just for one person’s mistake. If you are in Amsterdam, don’t miss it 🥳🥳🥳

What a fantastic night we had! Gosh, it felt good! The atmosphere was great, the set of djs really took us on a journey :they had some lovely dancers on stage too. We booked a table with VIP service just the opposite of the DJ booth with the crowd between. It almost felt like those guys were playing just for us....so good! Our cocktail waiter really took a good care of us, we can only recommend this club and wish you to have as much fun as we did!

The entrance costs (18€are absolutely not worth the place: drinks super expensive, 5€ for a locker, they charge you for toilets. Dancers in tiny outfits on the bar, giving the place a stripclub-like vibe which is absolutely not wanted. Only good point was staff was nice

Music is pretty derivative and seems like very low effort went into that department. Even at 1am it seemed like the place was only half full and i realised its probably just a place for the non locals to come to (basically a tourist trap)on top of all that i can’t believe you have to pay for the bathroom and if you really have to go and can’t find coins, no level of persuasion will get you in

Venue is great, music is alright, the act is great. However, drinks are way too expensive. 6.5€ for a beer is just insulting. Tickets always seem cheap but beware everything at the bar is super expensive.

Amazing place, with tremendous energy of music. The perfect place for dancing and positively crazy people. I dont know if there is a possibility for someone who likes this type of music to enter there and leave dissatisfied

Undoubtedly the energy, vibes, and the sounding is heavenly feel to enjoy with!!!Things to remember -1. Drinks are not great, highly highly expensive and tastes like the shots are diluted!2. Book your tickets earlier (just to be sure)3. Its a jam-packed club carry no baggage4. Keeping the jacket at the entrance costs 2E (2E per item)5. You have to pay 0.5E for toilet6. Buying VIP is far better option than having drinks (choice is yours)Beyond all, respect each other in the heavy crowd!

Easily the best club in Amsterdam. Must visit if you are in the city. The music and lighting is class apart. You can already see the line up and get your tickets online or you can directly walk to the club and get your tickets at the spot. You have VIP access to if you want. The view is just great and a superb place to hang out.

Best club in Amsterdam, got in just before midnight with the IAmsterdam Nightlife tickets we got online and had a great time. Nice music and stage attractions. Friendly people from different countries. It gets even better between 1am and 4am.
