Ervideira in Evora

We definitively recommend this winery as the attention, wines and service were great for us.We were welcomed by Guilherme, whom speaks great English, was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable during the tour and tasting. He explained all the process and history and selected the wines for a fantastic experience. As a value added we toured the winery with our dog, and although there are another 2 sheeper dogs, they got along nicely and we were escorted by them all the time.Overall an amazing experience highly recommendable.

Scandaleux ! Nous avons réservé un emplacement pour van avec roadsurfer, cela devait inclure une bouteille de vin + la visite de la cave. Sur la page roadsurfer, il est indiqué 18h30 pour lheure darrivée et rien dautre dans les commentaires. Lorsque nous sommes arrivé à 18h30, un employé (très désagréablenous a dit quil est trop tard pour visiter la cave et nous a mis dehors, sans même nous donné la bouteille gratuite. En ce qui concerne lemplacement pour dormir, il sagit du parking de léglise. Je doute que lemplacement leur appartiennent. Ils ont donc empoché de largent mais nont donné aucun service en retour!!!

Lugar acolhedor; atendimento impecável; visita maravilhosa; atendimento diferenciado, em especial o João*. Um lugar perfeito para conhecer excelentes vinhos.👏🏻👏🏻E um mundo pela frente para conquistar. Amei!🍷🍷

We visited for wine tasting and a picnic. The tour and wine tasting was very informative and fun. We tried a variety of wines, all of which we enjoyed. We then went for a picnic in the vineyard. The picnic bag included everything you needed and the food was delicious. We also loved the Donkey, super friendly and cute. Only slight negatives were that sparkling wine was not included in the picnic (we bought it to take so easily solvedand the picnic spot was not as scenic as I wouldve liked. However we had a great day at Ervideira and would highly recommend!

As already reported personally, we no longer wish to be a customer of Ervideira. This is due to the fact that the price posted on the website for sending an extended order was not applied. After our contact about this, we were told that the price has simply been increased, without this being changed on the website. Customer-friendly would be that - as prescribed by European legislation - the posted price is applied and the price on the website is adjusted for future purchases ...According to Ervideira there could be no compensation for the price difference .

Pasamos una noche en los viñedos en el espacio que tienen para autocaravanas!es un espacio al lado de una ermita y un cementerio, cosa que no gusta a todo el mundo!Tienen espacios mucho más bonitos y adecuados para dar este servicio!En el precio de la noche nos entraba una visita a la bodega y también hicimos una cata!Todo perfecto y muy recomendable!Un pequeño detalle que no nos terminó de gustar es que yo estoy embarazada por lo tanto no hice la cata con vino, sino que me ofrecieron un zumo (estaría bien tener mosto propio para estos casos), pero aún así me cobraron la cata al mismo precio que mi marido!Pero por todo el resto muy recomendable!Isabel muy atenta y amable!

Nous sommes allés au domaine Eevideira dans le but de découvrir les vins de cette propriété et éventuellement participer à une dégustation. A peine entrés dans la boutique, on nous a demandé ce que lon voulait. A quoi la personne nous a dit : nos vins sont exposés avec les prix, regardez. Et plus rien. Totalement ignorés ! Il y avait 2 dégustations en cours et peut être que personne navait le temps de soccuper de nous mais dans ce cas il suffit de nous le dire. Finalement, nous sommes repartis tout penauds... Heureusement, la région est belle et nous ne regrettons pas les kilomètres parcourus pour rien. Mais, jamais nous navons eu un accueil aussi glacial et vécu un tel désintérêt pour le client.

Para quem gosta e aprecia os vinhos da Ervideira, fazer aqui uma Visita Guiada, e uma Prova de vinhos, nem tem discussão. Mas mesmo para quem não conheça os vinhos deste Produtor, aconselho, e muito, esta visita, pois, acredite, vai ficar surpreendido.A sala onde as Provas são realizadas (Wine Lounge), é muito agradável e bonita, com vista privilegiada sobre as vinhas, e o Pessoal que realiza essas Provas, é muito simpático e divertido. As provas são realizadas com acompanhamento de pão regional, queijos, e enchidos, de muito boa qualidade.No final da Prova, pode adquirir os vinhos de que mais gostou, ou outros ainda, que não foram postos à Prova.Está disponível o pagamento por MB.É conveniente fazer reserva previamente.Para as Provas, não existem barreiras arquitectónicas, mesmo para quem tenha necessidade de se deslocar em cadeira de rodas.O estacionamento é fácil, e gratuito.

Amazing wine tasting experience. We were fortunate enough to try the whole line-up of wines served with a good selection of regional food. However what really made it to 5 stars was the amazing experience lead by Ana. A very big thank you for the engaging experience and interaction. Learned a lot of new things and was really engaging. For sure recommended and a return is in the plans.

Una excelente bodega con unas modernas sala de catas con magníficas vistas a los viñedos, hoy estoy disfrutando de un vino blanco de la casta Antâo Vaz, hecho con uvas cosechadas tardía de noviembre, con un punto dulce que recuerda los higos....una delicia.

Uma boa prova de vinhos hoje efetuada, com simpatia e profissinalismo!!! Só fiquei triste por não ter provado o Baltazar mas, brinco apenas!!!! Os afamados néctares já conhecidos, foram bem apresentados. Talvez se o nosso querido pais tivesse pessoas da mesma fibra, com coragem, inovadores, trabalhadores, estivessemos não na cauda mas uns patamares mais acima neste velho continente! As coisas não acontecem por scaso, mas isto é o euzinho a pensar…

Arrived in our motorhome and arranged to collect our 2 bottles of wine for €19 courtesy of EasyCamp, and to book a wine tasting later in the day. Lovely camping area in a courtyard of a disused church on a hill. Lovely walk through the vineyards (20 minsdown to the Adega where the tasting was fantastic. Two hours of lovely wines and snacks, and a charming, knowledgeable host. All wines reasonably priced so bought a few, and they were very generous in adding some freebies. And then a beautiful walk back to the motorhome. Collected our wines upon leaving. Most enjoyable!

Em geral eu desvio das grandes para me encontrar nas pequenas propriedades (ou como dito.aqui "na maior das pequenas"). Vinhos ótimos, experiência intensa, atendimento de primeira qualidade (parabéns e obrigado Miguel). Se vais pagar por uma prova de vinho, escolha uma que vai te deixar boas lembranças. Cerca de 1h30 de coisas boas: vinho, antepasto, ambiente e um ótimo papo. Alentejo pra não esquecer. Parabéns.

Very interesting winery with quite an array of wines. Had a wonderful tour with a nice young lady-Mara-there. They make a spectacular dessert wine and a very interesting red wine project where the bottles are aged underwater in the large reservoir just the east of there on the Spanish Portuguese border. It was great to be able to taste the conventionally aged red wine and then the red wine aged underwater. There was a very noticeable difference.

Stayed here in our motorhome with Portugal easy camp. What happened defeated the object of the exercise. Stopped at the Adega and collected our 2 bottles of wine for €19. My Wife went into the shop. I didnt get to even see inside. Were then directed up to the top of the nearby (1 mile awayhill by a church to stay in our camper. So we cant now try any wine and we cant buy more of anything which is clearly a missed opportunity for the vendor. But from what I was told its a lovely place where you can try different wines from the estate and all done in a convivial environment with breads and oils etc. We were also told by the listing that there was free WiFi which again isnt the case. So....i could buy 2 bottles of wine from LIDL for a third of the price in the nearest town and stay for free in a nearby Aire. Unimpressed and wont do this again.

We had a really nice wine tour here. Our tour guide was such a nice guy, with perfect control of the english language. The tasting was amazing. 7 beautiful wines including snacks (bread, cheese, meats). All the wines are amazing. This tour just amazing and very good value (around 15 euro for the tour). But best of all was the tip of our guide to go and see monsaraz in the sunset. We had the best day, hopefully to come back on day!! This is really a must do!!

Ervideira is a ( at least 5 generation winemaking vineyard. Their wines are VERY highly regarded by local, long time residents. I completely understand why.The tasting displayed 7 wines, all superb. The Cheese / Charcuterie accompaning this is excellent. Guillermo, my young host, was very knowledgeable about the wines and very passionate about the region. Very affordable tasting and bottles " To Go !! "

Espectacular prova na ervideira. Um atendimento familiar pelo João, que é conhecedor e que nos faz sentir em casa. Os vinhos provados superaram as expectativas . A qualidade e diversidade com destaque para a casta branca antão Vaz, enche-nos os 5 sentidos e dá-nos uma sensação de bem estar indiscritivel . A não perder.

We did a few wine tastings in Alentejo wineries and this one was by far the best. Lovely tour guide with a real passion for the place and the wines were absolutely amazing! The tasting is served with delicious food pairings which was a really lovely touch. Very affordable experience too. 10/10 would go again.P.S.: the attention of the staff cannot be highlighted enough. A group next to us had brought a child to the wine tasting and the staff promptly brought him orange juice and other treats, allowing the parents to enjoy the day in ease

Excellent place for wine tasting

On a recent trip to Évora Portugal, we found the Ervideira Winery tasting room. I’m sorry I can’t remember the names of the two lovely women that let us taste the wine, but they were fabulous! This wine! We are enjoying 2018 Private Selection Vinho Branco that we shipped back to Colorado USA and I’m regretting not getting a few bottles of that “water wine”! EN: I went to visit this winery because I purchased a "Winemaker for 1 day" voucher. I must say that, for those who are starting in the world of wines and want to better understand the process of manufacture, packaging and production, the visit to the winery allows you to have this information. Now, without a doubt, for me, the activity of "Winemaker for 1 day" my day. It allowed me to know a little more of the four grape varieties Tinta Caiada, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trincadeira and Alicante Bouschet, but also, because there is the possibility, for each mono-variety, to feel the aroma and flavor, and combine these four grape varieties in order to obtain a wine that we like ,made by us. Definitely the experience for those who want to start in the world of wine knowledge and grabe varieties, especially for the information and monitoring of people who, by the way they communicate, show immense taste for what they do.Also to recommend the tasting of wines made by this winery, very tasty and able to please various tastes and, for versatility, adjust to the different occasions of our life.PT: Fui visitar esta adega porque adquiri um voucher de "Enólogo por 1 dia". Nice place for a wine tasting. Relaxed and calm

My favorite winery in the Alentejo!! The wine is fantastic! The winery tasting room is beautiful and has a wonderful view as you enjoy your wines and complimentary snacks. The staff is great, especially Miguel who did an amazing job - he is clearly passionate about Ervideira and wine and taught us so much about the wine and winery and was fun to talk with. We would return again and again!! The personal aspect of the winery makes it special , it is not a huge industrial vineyard but has a cozy family vibe to it.

Fit us in for a tasting as a walk-in and had very generous snacks and pours. Prices for the wine was also great!
