Renovation is being done there its beautiful and its got a very good golf course

One thing for sure they very tight on security. Cant get in without proper ID

World class golf course. Booked 2 golf carts more than a week ago, but ‘not showing’ on the day. Arrived to staff at the pro shop that were moody and had an annoyed attitude towards us. Not pleasant at all.

Excellent staff, good course, but some members (all we encounteredwere very rude and confrontational, resulting in an unpleasant round of golf.

Beautiful Estate, Clubhouse and Restaurant and pristine gardens and golf course. We played with our friends and enjoyed a wonderful day of golf, our first on this beautiful course, had a fantastic experience from check in , enjoyed the amazing views of surrounding mountains and nature, until we finally finished shopping after dragging the men into the well stocked pro- shop. Proud to have such an excellent golf course in South Africa.

Ive mixed feelings. The course is in immaculate condition, and the greens were beautiful even though a little competition had gone though just before me. There are some pretty views, although theres often something in your view that stops it being truly spectacular. BUT... Two women who Id arrived were told that theyd be fined for being the male only when they tried to have a drink in the bar. Thats just not OK.

Stunning golf course and neighborhood on the slopes of the Hottentots Holland mountains, nestled between the Helderberg Nature Reserve and Lourensford. Perfectly safe, stunningly beautiful, ultra comfy and plenty to do.

1st time playing this beautiful course but not the friendliest staff. Half way Marshalls are abrupt and rude. Didnt allow us to sit down and even eat something. I didnt think anything of it until I told a friend that I played the course and they mentioned they had exactly the same problem with the halfway Marshalls. Loved the course but it seems this problem is bigger than I thought.

I love the course layout and design. For me it’s a drive and a day out with friends. It’s the two of things I like most... spending time with friend and playing golf.However, there isn’t a single occasion that I would care to remember. I’ve played there about 7 times, from being invited to play with a friend on his birthday to various competitions. I personally will never book there again. This is the reason why:The Marshalls and officials on the course including those at the club house have never shown me any respect nor courtesy. Not once! I’ve been rushed around despite being early for my game on two occasions, then was told that I have only 5 mins left to eat when I didn’t even place my order yet at the halfway house. One occasion I had to take my eatables straight from the counter into a take away container and didn’t even sit.The marshals and starters have no courtesy, and address you as a invader not as a guest. Generally, and speaking to many of my friends who play golf, we never feel welcome and would rather play our golf at courses where we are treated with respect and common courtesy. It takes nothing to show a smile and treat someone properly.Our fraternity is quite big and includes many who have memberships and/or play at championship courses throughout the country. We would rather play there.Now had I thought it irrelevant, I would have left the review alone. Had I not tried several times to raise this issue without the course doing anything or reverting, I would have not bothered. But here I am, and knowing there are many like me who experienced the same, saying to myself... why should a few seemingly disgruntled, discourteous and rude individuals NOT be addressed in order to make playing at the course more enjoyable...

Only visited the estate, the drive up to it was so peaceful, really good energy. Security was a bit too tight, made me wait at the gate for my client, then said Consultants werent allowed in on Saturdays!😮, once persuaded I was an interior designer & not doing actual building work on the house I was allowed in. Inside was extremely quiet, good for relaxing for busy execs.

I love this fabulous Golf Course. The 1st and 2nd 9 holes are so different in feel and challenge and the club house and facilities world class overlooking 9th and 18th greens.

I’ve never played this track but I will soon. I live in Austin, Texas and was playing a virtual game with a gentleman who lives in Cape Town. I asked “where should I play if I come to that area” and he gave a couple tracks that seemed mainstream..then I asked him “Where is the greatest understated track that I need to play?” He responded with a quick “Erinvale is what you are looking for”.. I am coming soon y’all;)

What a beautiful, and beautifully maintained course! And trust me I inspected every inch of that course with my recent round! I checked out the fairways and greens, bunkers and rough, houses and water hazards. All in perfect condition!

It feels like one is surrounded by mountains. Helderberg and Hottentots Holland mountains can be viewed.

Very nice golf course with fast greens. A bit expensive for the average golfer in South Africa. With reduced green fees this could be a 5 star rating.

Great views. Never played there but was with colleagues who did... all had great things to say about the green...

Course is in good condition, was a little wet as there had been rains the day before and keeping to the cart paths means you rate of play is slower. Nothing the club can do about rain.Nice views and some tough holes. Really enjoyed it. Great chipping and putting greens and driving range for free.
