Erebuni Restaurant in Evensk

Sadly disappointed in this restaurant. We had several plates (a potato salad, several types of dumplings, etcbut all of them were very bland and the meat was low quality. Also, they charged us for bread we didnt ask for (in addition to the service charge). Overpriced for what it offers.

I was really looking forward to trying Armenian food with my friends so we found this place on google. It was a very disappointing experience from the start. The waiter/owner was grumpy and not very welcoming. He was the only person working so the service was slow. I noticed that my coke did not taste very nice so I checked the sell by date and it was two years out of date and so was my friend’s. The starters arrived all separately rather than together and the “Armenian Pizza” Laimajo, was completely burnt around the edges, it was black and shouldn’t have been served. I then ordered a chicken shahlyk kebab for my main which cost £19, so I did not even hesitate to think that it would be chicken breast, but unfortunately it was chicken thigh which to me feels like they are using cheap cuts of meat and charging a premium. They also charged £2.50 for some chilli sauce. My entire meal for the kebab and some bread cost £40 the restaurant is completely overpriced. The service was very slow and my kebab didn’t arrive until my friends had finished their mains. I did ask the waiter/owner to remove the out of date drinks from the bill and he did not even apologise once, he just got even grumpier! I then had to tell him to get a new bill so it amends the service charge. We reluctantly paid the £11 service charge as the man was so grumpy we were scared that he would become angry! Worst restaurant experience I have EVER had.

I visited here with friends for dinner, amazing vibes, excellent home made food and the service was great. Highly recommended!!!!!

Its always a welcome sign to see the owner of the restaurant actively involved in the daily operations. Edward shared his passion of the food and drinks. Recommended the right dishes for the whole table to enjoy and what was a must try. The right wines that will go for each dishes, plus amazing home made vodka he makes himself. The ambiance brings you right back home.

Amazing food, drink, service and loved the decor and atmosphere! Will definitely be coming again. Have the pomegranate wine ready for me! X

Erebuni is among my favourite restaurants in London. It has an unflinchingly authentic atmosphere, created by the warm, generous family behind the bar. The food is always an absolute pleasure, not to mention a rarity in London — an enticing combination of Armenian, Russian, Balkan and old Kartvelian foods that are almost never found on menus in the capital. I advise at least one trip here if youre in London and youve ever felt the warmth of Russian cuisine, it will take you back there instantly, and youll be invited to cap it off with a round of enlivened vodka, on the house! I havent even mentioned the world class Karaoke bar in the basement of course, but Ill let you discover that on your own.

What a fantastic restaurant. Located 2 minutes from Barbican tube station. Walking into the restaurant I felt like I had been transported back to Georgia.Menu is very extensive and hearty (meaty). The owners are lovely. The service is excellent.If you turn up at 6pm you get to pick your seating. The restaurant is very large with a beautiful open bar.Every dish arrived beautifully presented. The portions are generous. The flavours are wonderful and authentic.This would make a great party venue.I am very grateful to the staff and owners of the restaurant for such a lovely evening.

Food is very delicious but they are outrageously overcharging people. Drinks are ridiculously expensive (even the basic onesand will destroy your bill. Yes, the host will offer you free shots once or so but that’s a drop in the ocean compared to how they overcharge you in the end.

Erebuni restaurant serves really tasty food. Owner Eduard was talking through the menu for us to understand what is what and the giving us some tips how it is best to eat certain foods.Atmosphere of this place suits for couples on a date or just to go there with a group of people

This is a great restaurant both for people who know and love Armenian and traditional Russian/Soviet food, and anyone new to it. The menu is diverse and caters to whatever you fancy and the food is made with real attention and care.My advice is to be a little bit patient as good food does take a little bit of time to come, but trust me it is 100% worth it.The host, Edward, definitely deserves a special mention - great chat and makes you feel very welcome.Big thank you for making my birthday celebration really enjoyable!Will definitely come back soon and bring more friends along.

This is one of the best places I have ever been to. The staff are so welcoming, we had a lot of questions about the dishes, the waiter (who I think is the ownerwas absolutely lovely, he answered all our questions and even recommended us dishes and what drinks would go best with them. Such a wide variety of different foods and each food went well with a specific wine or vodka. Erebuni restaurant is definitely a must try! A piece of heaven on earth. All restaurants should have this type of hospitality.

Absolutely wonderful food, lovely people and an all round brilliant experience. The lady who looked after us was only too happy to advise on what was best to go for and which things we might enjoy. The food was properly authentic and all cooked on sight with very fresh ingredients which had only just been bought. The atmosphere was lovely, beautiful ceiling lights. Also a good selection of vodkas! Loved it and will definitely be back :)

Birthday celebration post lockdown and first meeting with our son since January. Great service fantastic food and friendly helpful staff. All socially distanced and felt very comfortable!

The Place is really authentic and nice. The owner and the waitress are very kind, they served as with the best attention and the owner offered us some vodka at the end of the dinner having a toast with us! Despite that, a minor remarks is needed: the servise was super but a slightly attention need to be paid on the table dressing. For example the fork and the spun were put on the table without something behind them.We had 7/8 starter, 5 soups with nice bread cooked with cheese and eggs, 5 dumplings, 2 desserts, a glass of good wine and 13/14 shots of vodka per person ( we were 5 people ). We paid 350£. It was worthy dinner with very high quality food. We would have provided with 5 stars, but the table question was I important in my opinion.We will be back there soon !

Wide range of dishes, homemade taste and quality and nice atmosphere. Apparently a family business. The hosts are ultimately welcoming and friendly. We got shots of vodka and raspberry liquor as compliments at the end of the meal.

The variety of wines were outstanding tried a few Eastern European, Georgian, Moldovian and French, Italian and Spanish. Great service, food was cooked with love from the owners themselves. Great night thank you very much.

A missed opportunity to taste good quality food from Eastern Europe and the Caucasus while in London. Staff was attentive and the local wines were good. I appreciated the wide range of different dishes on the menu, but the quality of some of them was just sufficient to their price. I definitely expected more for what I paid.

I have been here a few times with my russian friends. So I decided to bring my family here. And as usual always impressed how this place keeps getting better and better by the quality of the service and food. The decoration is heavenly perfect, they add little details to make our dinner experience spectacular. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the service and food you receive. I would say even too good to be true with their generous portion sizes. Will definitely keep coming back here. Recommend to everyone to try at least once.

My friends and I came across this place by chance and lucky we did. I have never tasted such exquisite food in my life. Made with pure love. So much effort and detail went in to making our night perfect. Thanks Erebuni. Have a great Christmas and new year we will see you in 2020.

Lovely recommendations by the waitress, she gave us a variety of amazing choices, from the xachapury adarsky to the xinkali to the ker u sus and the shashlyke and amzaing sides to go with these dishes. You can feel the family touch here. Recommend to everyone. We will be back definitely. Thank you for an amazing evening. To top it off amazing Georgian/Armenian wines and on the house amazing home made fruit vodaks which gave the best home feeling touch anyone could ask for, cant wait to come back.

I’ve been looking for a place that does proper Russian/Georgian food for years in London and this one is an instant favourite. The staff were so lovely and the food was absolutely delicious - the dumplings really seemed like they were made to order (!!!). Been dreaming about their khachapuri ever since. Huge props also for offering lots of nice veg options in addition to all the traditional meaty stuff

Amazing service and amazing food! Laura is a lovely girl always up to a nice chat and Eddy will never let you down with a good laugh and a shot of their frozen amazing vodka! Recommended for a meal or for a cheeky drink after work

Conveniently located near Barbican Station. Food was great with a nice mix of Armenian, georgian and Russian cuisine . We ordered beetroot soup, khinkali, khachapuri, pirashki, lamb shish, wine.. Not a very easy menu for a beginner though

Russian friend chose this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was authentic and the menu was extensive. Definitely will go back to try more from the menu. It was my friends birthday and the waitress brought over complimentary homemade cranberry vodka shots, they tasted amazing.

Always a great place to have a meal. This review covers the 100 times I have been here! Excellent food on all levels. adore the Adjarsky Xachapury, Xinakli, Ker u Sus, Khashlama, Lamajo and the Shashyk is outstanding, the grilled skewers are fresh and juicy, drinks selection really nice. Desserts are brilliant, with amazing presentation. cant recommend any more. Thank You Erebuni for a great evening as always.

The food here is exceptional. The quality & size of portions were perfect. The only reason for only 4 stars is the disappointing way in which they dealt with us trying to book a large group. A friendlier attitude would earn the 5th star as well as our group booking.

Nice and authentic food from Russia, Armenia and Georgia, prices in line with London. The place really offers the Eastern culture ambience and the owner also offered us a shot of vodka. The only big downside is their slowness with the service. Almost 45 minutes between a course and the other. Apart from that, I would go back as I really enjoyed the food.

The atmosphere at Erebuni is a one of a kind experience! Service is excellent. Also I love the atmosphere, very fun and cool. Top quality Russian, Armenian and Georgian food in London, amazing drinks, great DJ and live music! It was so much fun that people started dancing on the spot and that’s just the restaurant. There is also a club downstairs with the best party on Saturday nights where you can get loose, relax and enjoy yourselves!! Also you get great value for the price you are paying. Very much recommended.

From entering to leaving, this an experience not to be missed. Service and food are both exceptional, with a extensive variety of options, superbly paired with exclusive vodkas and Brandy’s from servers knowledge of the menu and product. Will definitely be back soon.

Lovely place, I only stayed for drinks but the food I saw really looked amazing.An awesome jazz band was playing as well, Infinite Soul Five, very good vibes.I would definitely recommend.

We visited this nice restaurant for the first time and we were really impressed.I have been to a lot of other Russian restaurants in London and around the world and this one had the best service and delicious food. Staff were very polite and food was absolutely splendid. Portions are soo big you definitely get your monies worth. The decor is very nice. We will come again for sure.

This was a taste of my childhood. If you ever want to know what its like to have a babushka cook all the delights for you (highly recommend the khachapuri, pelmeni and solyanka), Erebuni is the place to be. Service was friendly, and he had a lot to handle with our booking for six and another big party arriving halfway through. Solid vodka selection, including Armenian vodkas. Everyone left full and happy.

Horrible service! Me & my friends went out for a karaoke night. The food is expensive for the size of portions, same as alcohol. Nevertheless we were happy to pay the bill + £10 for karaoke + 12.5% service charge on top (3 bottles of wine, 4 main courses + 6 x covers for karaoke= £225).2 out of 6 of my friends were leaving the place, therefore we paid the bill and let the DJ know that we are going for a cigarette and we are returning back in a minute since we had booked a few more of karaoke songs.Once we returned we were greeted with the worst attitude Ive ever experienced in a catering industry, we were accused of drinking around the corner and we were forced to leave the premises despite that we have paid £10 + service charge for the karaoke. Once we returned, the owner said that he has sold our table to someone else (apart of us and another table which was there long before there was no one else in the premises). It seems like all the owners are interested is profit, not the guest satisfaction. The worst customer service ever. They dont care about wanting you to return, they only care of how much money you spend in there and then! Very disappointed and definitely not coming back!

Another amazing evening in Erebuni. Perfect service, food was fantastic as always. You get your money’s worth definitely here. I have recently been to Erebuni with a group of friends, althought the bar was completely empty, we were asked to pay £ 20 each for the karaoke (which we didnt do indeed).The staff could not care less of our presence, after paying £ 17 for a beer and a spirit the "gentleman" at the bar thought it would have been nice to throw the change back to one of my friends who refused to pay for service charge on a pint.Worst customer service ever, members of staff having vodka on a table next to us and unfriendly atmosphere.To be avoided!!

Amazing authentic Caucasian food. Just how my mum cooks at home. Very friendly service, you even get a shot of vodka at the end. Will definitely be back great place for a group of people having good and a late night.

Good food, and a good atmosphere. Great for talking because it wasnt too loud, but the large screen of pop music videos was a bit distracting! Other than that a great place, and even got given a free shot of vodka at the end of the evening.

The food was absolutely delicious. I ate the adjarskey xachapury and xinkali its a definite must try if you visit here. The staff was very friendly and live music was amazing. Im not a dancer but after a few vodkas I was up on the dance floor with the other customers that looked like reguarls teaching me Russian dancing. Thank you for an amazing experience Erebuni. Interesting place, you walk in and immediately notice the imposing bar and booths but for a Friday night this was nicely busy. You had space to talk without being crowded. The food was good, the dumplings are a must if youve not food from the area before but the wine is average. All in all a decent place to eat but not hitting the ball out of the park.

Ive been here a few times and always loved it. Its one of those restaurants where you come with a group of friends to spend a whole evening over amazing food and a few bottles of wine. The owner is very friendly and helpful with choosing from a plethora of dishes and never disappoints with a free shots after the meal.

Service was very slow, they seemed to be understaffed.However when the food eventually arrived it was really nice authentic Russian cuisine. The khachapuri was lovely and so was the kharcho soup.Maybe its just a Russian thing but Im used to getting serviced a little quicker.
