2233 Energy Park Dr, St Paul, MN 55108, United States, Saint Paul
Chain eatery offering submarine sandwiches, soups & chili in a casual, counter-service setting.
I’m here multiple times weekly for lunch. Staff is always very polite and professional. Quality of sandwich consistent and, good!Clearly well managed.
Super kind staff and their very efficient- great for a bite between morning and night classes.
Sandwiches and soups are delicious, but communication is extremely poor here. I usually order delivery and never know when my sandwich will actually arrive. My food has been 20 minutes late more than a few times. Ive also received the wrong food and cant get a hold of anybody in the store to remake it or refund.
I am truly addicted to their bony Billy.
Very friendly, prompt and polite staff! Ordered online and the food was ready for pickup when I arrived! The sandwiches were fresh and prepared exactly how we ordered them online, Subway is nothing compared to Erbert & Gerbert’s!!
This place is less than 2 miles away from my apartment but says they wont deliver there even though I was sent a coupon in the mail specifically for delivery. Doesnt make any sense
Wanted a refund after tasting everything so I tossed it, left n went to the co op. Lettuce tastes like poision.
This location is amazing! Always fast and friendly service and very consistent. My go-to spot for when I dont bring lunch to work!
I think they make good food. Friendly staff as well.
made my sandwich right! soft bread fresh ingredients. delicious! the store was clean. it looked very clean behind the counter. workers were wearing masks. i saw handwashing before making my food. very happy customer
I believe I dealt with the manager. he was very respectful and helpful. Good experience .
There was a mix up with my order and they showed extreme compassion to me. Their customer service is elite. I will be back for sure. Thank you!!!
Its the closest place to work that does fast food. Theyre always polite and if its not busy, friendly. The food is pretty good, but from a standard menu with options. I think Ive had one flub in probably 50 times Ive been there.
Ok place for a quick bite to eat. Better ingredients than Subway, but worse options and better bread than Jimmy Johns but worse meat. Main issue with this chain is the naming scheme and how hard it is to read the menu. Im there to order food not marvel at how original you are, the hot sandwiches were on the same page section as cold, you can order any sandwich as a wrap but you wouldnt know unless you ask or guess.
Mexican dude working the register. Good service. Sandwich was mediocre.
Employee claimed that the price listed on the menu in the store was wrong and wanted to charge $4 more for a combo meal. 0 out of 10 never going back to any Erbert and Gerberts if you wont honor the price listed on the menu.
When you ask for extra add-ons and they give you two pieces! Im so sad our local E&G had closed down. :-(
I give erbert and gerbert 3 out of 5 based on the amount of sandwich shops that I frequent theres sandwiches are okay their produce & meats are okaytheir bread is okay there help is okay but nothing stands out to me like it does that a couple of my favorites
Quick and friendly service. Sandwiches have been good the last couple of times I have gone. Reasonable prices and easy online ordering.
Good service, friendly, clean - enjoyed the sandwich
Up charge for every topping. Come on man, jalapeños dont cost $1. And for this location in particular, call ahead, they might not be open when they say theyre open. Like right now
Just got a BBQ Brisket with Bacon and Cheddar sandwich from here. Take a look at the picture comparison between what I received and what they show on their website and the signs in the store. The meat was barely warm, the cheese not melted at all. Wont be getting this again and not likely to return anytime soon.
I went here for lunch and ordered the brisket sandwich. For $9.50 you would think the meat portion would be a little bigger than a quarter pound of brisket. Thats the last time I go to this sandwich shop. Look at this sandwich and tell me this isnt over priced for almost $10 dollars!
I am not sure...is Erbs and Gerbs better than Jimmy Johns...quite possibly.
My sandwich was alright. Good taste and prep, but the quality of ingredients is lacking. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Id go back if I were in a pinch, but Id like to see the ingredients step it up first.
Not good at all... A while back I ate here and it was fine... but the place has taken a bad turn.
Door lock must be broken, because the open sign is on and its before closing hours. I cant get inside, though. Is this some new door technology? Alas, I will never know, and I have no sandwich in my mouth. Dark days, friends.
Great, fast sandwiches that have flavor unlike many other fast food sandwich chains. This specific location never seems to be busy and are still fast even when they are busy.
Online ordering isnt very functional, but thats more on the company as a whole than this location. Orders go through successfully even if the location is closed, learned that the hard way! They close absurdly early on the weekends (closed by 6 I believe on Saturdays).I usually go there to order and pickup in person, it goes much smoother and the employees are always quick and friendly, and the food is always fantastic! I love getting a sandwich and cup of soup, and dipping the bread guts they provide in the soup.
Good subs love that they give you the piece of bread they cut out get a soup and dip it in there. Also thier bread is on point better than Jimmy Johns
Online order fail. On the website, I ordered "Pickup," but they processed as "Delivery." When I was at the counter, the manager initially refused to discount the "Delivery Charge" of $2.50. Only after I complained did they re-run the order (re-keying all itemswithout the delivery charge. Throughout the too-long (10-minutetransaction, the manager was snarky and unpleasant. In my only previous order with this location (weeks ago), I website ordered "Pickup," and when I arrived at the location, the manager apparently decided to close early. Lights were off on a Sunday at 5pm. So although the online order "succeeded," no sandwiches.Moral of the story: dont pay online. I cant trust this location.
Its a sandwich shop thatll fill you up. Would I take this over Subway or JJs? Dunno. Is it different? Yea. It has enough going on flavor wise that I can pick a different sandwich every time I go in.Id recommend the jalapeno chips to side your tuna.
Great sandwhiches. Love the little bit of bread the give you from the cut.
Im only giving two stars because the delivery driver was fast and friendly. The food on the other hand was terrible. I got a sandwich and a bowl of soup and disliked it so much I threw it away. A sad waste of $10. :(
I will never order from this location again. I placed an online delivery order to wait an hour and a half to eventually call to find out they are unable to deliver. They need to have a better system in place for situations like this.
I enjoyed the soup, but the sandwich was pretty sad. The meat was almost nonexistent, but had a huge pile of lettuce. I would prefer the bread cut in half rather than the middle cut out. It just made the bread feel flat and cardboard like. The staff was friendly, but had the vibe like they didn’t want to be there. Overall better than Subway in my opinion.
Soup, beer cheese was too peppery. Sandwich, turkey avacado was good.
I never bother to take the time to leave reviews, but Ill make an exception in this case.I placed an online order. Paid up front via credit card Estimated delivery time of 30 minutes. Great.30 minutes comes and goes, no delivery. No big deal.An hour goes by. Im in no hurry, Im sure theyll be here soon. Its getting closer to an hour and a half. I call the store. No answer, just a generic answering machine. A few more attempts, same thing. My kids are getting hungry. I have no idea if my order (already paid forhas even left the store and theyre not even picking up the phone.Called another location Turns out they decided to close early (order was placed around 5pm on a Saturdayand they didnt bother to turn off the online ordering or leave a message on their answering machine. Awesome.
Went to grab a sandwich on a Saturday. They were closed. Google said they were open, their website said they were open, they werent open. Theyre getting a 2 instead of 1 because I just love their beer cheese soup.
I love this place energy park drive does an amazing job always friendly and fast shout out to Alex you the realist.
Staff who took my catering order today around noon was veryhelpful and patient despite some technical problems that werent their fault
Good subs and soups. Much better in my opinion then other sub shops
Its Jimmy Johns with great soup staff was nice and efficient I will return
Sandwiches are not good, very expensive for that kind of product.
The staff were nice and the food was okay. The other customers were rude and kept bumping into me as I sat. Crappy parking. Three stars you get.
pretty standard sandwich place. quick delivery and Pick Up. Nothing flashy
A sandwich sounded really good after picking up my credit card from the bar I left it at last night, so I stopped at this erberts by my house to try it. The man who made my sandwich must have been in a rush with the other 2 customers in the store because there wasnt any meat, maybe a strip. Crappy sandwich, crappy employee. 100% Jimmy Johns from here on out.
Just had the most bare bones sandwich ever. So, I had to buy some chips and a bar for the road, because the skimpy sandwich left me wanting. After I purchased the snack, I was confronted by the manager and he accused of theft. He insisted that I had stolen the food and he didnt even consult the guy at the register. I was wrongfully accused. It was very disrespectful and I wont be eating there again!
The Wisconsin Beer Cheese is amazing, and goes great paired with nearly any sandwich Ive tried.
Decent flavor profiles on the sandwiches. Prices are on the higher side as far as sandwiches go.My dislikes? If you want me to bring my family here to eat, please put in changing stations in the restrooms. After all it is 2016, were not barbarians for crying out loud. And another thing...your restrooms dont house gold toilet paper- is there really a need to have to gain access to a code to open the door? Thats just tacky. Come on tightwads...let us go!I wouldve rated higher if you had changing tables for the kiddos-yes, its that important to parents.
