Very poor service went on for a drink had no keo ask for 2 bottles of bud waited nearly 10 mins went the bar the barmaid told us the manager has gone to get them waited a few more minutes then left Im sure he went shopping for the bud certainly will not be going here again

A very nice and chill place to have a relaxed lunch or dinner or even breakfast. The staff is very welcoming, fast service.and good food. Not a very big choice for the food but its more a bar that serves food than a restaurant. Its worth the money though and prices are pretty low. Would deffinetly recommend.

The Black Velvet is by far the friendliest and most welcoming bar in this area of Paphos. The drinks are amazing !!!!!! the food excellent and the fresh juices and ice creams so refreshing. Mike and Nora are so very accommodating nothing is too much for them. I think we have tried almost every drink and gone through most of the menu which we have so enjoyed. Great place, great drinks, great location, but mostly great people service. A must to all who visit Paphos

Excellent place - not only because of the tasty fresh smoothie, but it is easy to find, it has great service, nice atmosphere. Actually Black Velvet is much more than cafe - here you can meet kind and friendly Michael and Leonora - and they will offer a lots of treatments for your health and well being - massages, body treatments, energy practices etc.

Excellent place with excellent service, great food and a mine of tourist information from the owner ! (And also just minutes from the Seafront)

Mick & Nora...are absolutely wonderful front of house and behind the scenes. Warm family run establishment..home cooked food and great company..it like eating as a home guest..highly recommended for that little extra home comforts....

This a real treat of an establishment, they cater for everything, if you are looking for healthy home made food and vegetarian food they cater for both, the food will be the best you have, including home made curries, spring rolls, with various smoothies-strawberry and banana is my favourite or pineapple and orange made with fresh fruit. Ice cream and yoghurt smoothies. Spoil yourself and relax and watch the football with a varied bar of spirits and cocktails.The management are really welcoming and a delight!
