Artisanal coffee is roasted by this trendy venue featuring a cocktail list & specialty coffees.
Delicious coffee and food! Everything we had was 10/10
Beautiful place, well located. The food is very fresh and tasty! Coffee is great and general atmosphere really hipsterish and cool. Very good cocktails as well.
Excellent location and the building was beautiful on the inside, we ordered the coffee lemonade which I highly recommend !
I think this place is one of the best places for coffee, breakfast and lunch in all of Cartagena.
This is a very nice espresso bar in the heart of the walled city. It is surprisingly difficult to find a nice coffee shop here so this definitely does stand out.The coffees are presented very well and the quality is top calibre. The food here is also very tasty, I would definitely recommend the crispy chicken sandwich if you are stopping here for food. The only reason for a loss in star is due to what can be very slow service at times.Otherwise this is a good quality, decent value espresso bar.
Very nice personnel! I was placed at the bar and thus my view was the baristas making all the different kinds of coffee! Very cool to see.My double espresso and green smoothie were both delicious, would definitely recommend this spot, as the quality and entourage is worth it!For some it might seem a bit too clean or western from a touristic expectational point of view, as it is not the cute little colourful restaurant you might expect in Colombia. In my opinion, this fits right in with the other coffee bars, as they serve high quality food and drinks.
Bit overpriced hipster place, all for the looks, less for the service. Espresso was good but nothing super special. Ordering was chaotic and extremely slow, we waited 30-40 minutes to have 2 coffees. They didn’t understood the concept of espresso tonic, so they brought me an espresso with a seperate tonic. Feel free to try, but I think there are better cafés in town…
The real deal as far as the coffee goes. The croissants were great. Service maybe a bit slow and flippant, but dont let that stop you!
I come here for breakfast/brunch. This is my go to spot. The only reason I have it at 4 stars is due to me ordering the same thing all the time, which is always good. I get the acai bowls, fresh orange juice, and on occasion pancake and bacon
Delicious coffee and food! They also offer gluten-free banana bread. A little more pricey, but worth it.
I had an amazing chicken bowl and a iced mocha for a little over $40,000 pesos. Second time coming there. I love the food and coffee there. Beautiful place inside, friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Yes, you have to go here. You will not be disappointed.
Had breakfast at the Epoca Cafe today, delicious coffee and authentic food! Tried new arepas from different Colombian regions. Our baristas Atilano, Cristian y Jose made delicious coffee with intricate art. Great welcoming cafe to start your morning!Visiten a Epoca Café!!
I’m right here right now having the best Shashuka I’ve ever had in life. Service is wonderful, Lorci was amazing!!!! Atmosphere is calming… can’t stress enough how good is the coffee. It’s a must in Cartagena ❤️❤️❤️ todo muy rico
This place is amazing especially if you’re a coffee lover, but even if not the experience was so great, I could’ve stayed there for hours - the fresh fruit bowl was delicious and refreshing but the empanada w egg was the best. Also the staff were lovely. Highly recommend !!
My favorite place in Cartagena. Very good coffee and food, music and interior design 10/10 👏🏻
I loved the food and the waffle was so good and it was so soft and the chilaquiles were so good and spicy good and the coffee was super sweet and good
We loved the breakfast!Amazing coffee. The food menu had delicious options. Loved the flavors of my fish and super cool that they do the kids waffles with ears. Bonus points!
Diablo chicken bowl was great! Cold air con, solid espresso drinks, a bathroomfor customers, secret upstairs seating - a welcome escape from the heat. Try the passion fruit + mint soda.
What a great place for brunch!! We Loved their dishes carefully crafted and deliciously prepared.Special ovations for the Coffee Lemonade that was truly mind-blowing!! Exquisite flavor and presentation!Downside is that service is slow and they will bring all the dishes at the same time to the table, in our case we where 3 hungry dudes in a table and ordered at least 2 or 3 dishes each, you can imagine how uncomfortable it was to eat at that table with no space since all dishes were served at the same time. We tried to send a few back to the kitchen to keep them from getting cold but our server refused.Recommended place but keep in mind your comfort.
Wife found this place because she wanted to try authentic Columbian coffee..as a none coffee drinker I still enjoyed the food and the fresh orange Juice is FRESH. Its very popular so come early.
Excellent coffee, and the breakfast options we chose were well made and flavorful. Highly recommend the huevos divorciados if you enjoy spicy foods.
The interiors are gorgeous, rustic woods beams and old stone. Definitely an American-style brunch menu. I always like to eat local cuisine when I travel and so tried the Arepa con Huevo which was good, but it is definitely a hangover dish and I was not hungover..but it was one of the only really Colombian items on the menu. Friends had breakfast sandwiches. Lots of coffee options available. Overall cute li’l touristy place.
This coffee bar is amazing! From the atmosphere to the service to the quality of drinks. Coffee really is an art here.I got a limonada de cafe (coffee lemonade). It is unlike anything I’ve ever had. It is perfectly tart, refreshing, and has a perfect amount of coffee taste with sweetness. It is amazing at cooking me down from this Colombian heat.
My friends and I really, really enjoyed this place for brunch! I have to give a massive shoutout to our waiter. We speak very little Spanish, and he was kind enough to walk us through the menu, and try to teach us how to order items we wanted in Spanish instead of English! Really loved that. Anyways, the coffee was strong, which is awesome, the fruit bowl was really fresh and yummy, the Benedict was a really great combo of flavors (especially with that corn pancake instead of an English muffin). I would really love to come back here and would recommend it to people.
Got the sloppy egg burger, shakshuka and cappuccino. The sloppy egg burger was delicious, by far the best of what we got. The cappuccino and shakshuka were good, would recommend!
Very good breakfast and amazing coffee one of the best I have had in Colombia. The server leader who was downstairs was very professional and attentive to details ! He always had an eye on every table. I’ve been working in hospitality for over 15 years and Traveling all around Colombia I was so upset about the low service quality but this guy and the team today were amazing !
Amazing! Highly recommend. The Cafe Bonbon was delicious but not overly sweet. The cold Butterfly pea match latter was refreshing. The huevos Estrella was very tasty, had a little spice/heat to it.You have to try the Calentado época!!! So good we considered getting another to go. I wish I had a place like this at home, Id be a regular.
It’s a place for coffee but you can find really affordable options for lunch considering other restaurants are expensive in this part of Cartagena. The food was delicious and it’s a beautiful place. There are two floors, in the second one there are little balconies.
Excellent atmosphere, coffee and croissant. Very cordial service as well. We ordered cappuccinos with regular and almond milk. You can see the pictures of the first and the second floor. We preferred the second.Might need a reservation for parties bigger than two!
One of the best coffee/brunch spots in Cartagena! Great selection of drinks (espresso drinks & matcha drinksas well as a full bar and food menu. They have a wide selection of brunch as well as lunch/dinner items. Brunch is ends fairly early though, so make sure to get there before noon for the eggs Benedict and other breakfast items.
Very tasty but small portions, except the French Toasts (enough for 2 people). The cappuccino was delicious too.A bit too loud music but the atmosphere was nice and the staff very friendly.I found it very pleasant from the temperature inside. In many restaurants the air conditioning is turned up too much so that it is very cold. It wasnt the case here.
Food is delicious. The waiting is a bit long, and in my experience they forgot a plate I ordered. However service is very nice and the environment of the restaurant is very nice. Be sure to seat yourself in the second floor, it’s much better. The prices are a bit pricy.
Came for breakfast! It was great! Great service and great tasting food to get the day started.
Great and fast service, great food and amazing coffee. The prices are also very reasonable! I would for sure recommend to go there for breakfast, brunch or just a quick coffee.
Two storey bar and cafe and few tables on an outdoor balcony. Stylish and well decorated with good flow of air conditioning. They have very good coffee (cold brew and French aero press, unfortunately other options of brewing were not available at a time of our visit). Few good options for breakfast as well, eggs shaksuka were decent, although I would prefer bread to be bit more (2 small piecesand less hard.
Enjoyed sitting on the balcony for brunch, the ambiance is very nice and a bit romantic. Victor our waiter was nice and engaging. I enjoyed the waffle and chicken, the breakfast sandwich wasn’t a total hit for my partner; the eggs, bacon and potatoes were good but the sandwich could’ve used an extra slice of bacon and minus the caramelized onions. Overall great presentation, great place would visit again.
The barista experience was memorable. Definitely one of the best places to enjoy high quality coffee. Sahir delivers a very personal immersive coffee experience. The almond croissant just melts in your mouth. 5 stars well deserved
This place is very nice, you can feel very relaxed while you enjoy your meal. We ordered waffles and pancakes and the flavor was amazing! The coffee is very good too.
The best coffee I’ve had in the world! This place is awesome. The architecture is amazing. I’d recommend sitting upstairs or on the balcony. Take a moment to admire the ceilings and intricate wood work while you’re enjoying your breakfast. Definitely recommend!
Best coffee Ive ever had in my life! During my trip to Cartagena w/ my husband, we visited this place almost every single day. Highly recommend the cold brew and macchiato as those were our favorites. The staff are super friendly and attentive and will help you select the perfect coffee beans to take home. Well definitely be returning on our next trip!
Nice food and decor, perfect place to have breakfast/brunch, nice staff as well, two floors (really busy, better avoid busy hoursboth savoury and bakes food are delicious, very fair price.Only 4 star bc it’s not nice to sit there by yourself at all, first of all it’s in door, most of time Cartagena it’s nice to be out, also when it’s indoor it’s very noisy if you want to work at and all.Still recommend to have food and take a rest from shopping and all, very nice location
Beautiful place. The bartender spoke minimum English but more than enough to take our order. The place was clean. The air conditioning was set just right for the outdoor weather conditions. I’m glad wonderful people prior to me coming had post pictures so I could know what I was ordering. The digital menu had an English translation option which was beautiful. A lot of restaurants we visited did not have that option. I would recommend this place to go for breakfast 😊
Awesome food with an incredible location and the most gracious staff. Did I mention the food. Hands down best eats around Cartagena.
I highly recommend the coffee (cardamom latteand banana bread. The ambience is really cool, and the knowledge of coffee by staff was above reproach. I enjoyed my morning here and wish I had time to come back. Great place with strong wifi to get some work done also.
Epoca serves you with exquisite coffees in a really well set location, offering a nice place to eat, work and enjoy a couple hours to share a table with friends and family. They also have delicious food, i really recommend this choice for Breakfast (They have acai bowl), fairly prices and its top quality.
The breakfast was fantastic. One of the best place for breakfast and brunch in Cartagena. We love the interior BUT the only issue was the people behind the bar were so loud and made so much noise.Btw the latte was very good too
We went to two different locations of Epoca in Cartagena! The chicken and waffles was perfect, really enjoyed the coffee also. They had a great selection on brewing methods as well.
Maybe the best coffee in the walled city, riquísimos desayunos my favorite is the avocado toast, waffles and epoca’s cocktails. They even have traditional egg arepas and some mexican style breakfast 🍳 Never not in the mood for a stop at this place 💕
A very pleasant place for breakfast. I ordered eggs with bacon and spinach expecting it to be similar to the way it’s served in Australia, as an addition to the plate. However this came out as three fried eggs together with the bacon and spinach sprinkled on top! Tasted great! They also had tea made in a pot! The service was good but then there were only a few customers. I’ll come again!
