Espectacular! Recomendado al 100%. El palacio es bello, y la comida típica alemana servida con mucha atención. El único problema es que no aceptan pagos con tarjeta. Solo en efectivo. Vale la pena la visita!

The erstwhile East Germany issued a 10 Pfenning Postcard and stamp on the Ephraim Palace to commemorate 750th Anniversary of Berlin . The Palace is located in Berlin. The postcard also features the Markisches Museum of Berlin.

An intimate museum, located in the Nikolaiviertel, the Ephraim Palace houses rotating exhibitions. As of October 2019, they have an exhibit on everyday life in the DDR, with particular focus on East Berlin. They also have Womackas ~1985 model of the Ost Berlin city center on display. Plan between ninety minutes and two hours; pleasant and engaging.

Super schönes Ausstellungsgelände für Kultur aller Art .... auf drei Etagen. Ich war zur Ost-Berlin Ausstellung da die zzt noch läuft.

Response to owner:The staff were very friendly and the exhibit was nice enough, but small. The temperature inside was uncomfortable on this hot day. Im not sure that if I returned I would find anything more of interest. Not much in the exhibit popped out at me.

Very interesting exhibition

There is now an excellent exhibition about Berlin during DDR-time.

Jeden ersten Mittwoch im Monat ist der Eintritt kostenfrei. Die Ausstellung ist barrierefrei (keine Kanten, Fahrstuhl ist vorhanden). Das Gebäude selber ist bereits sehenswert. Genau wie die Ausstellung, die einen nicht so überfrachtet und schön kurzweilig ist. Mir hat es gefallen.

Eine super Sache - diese Ausstellung ist sehr sehr gut und umfassend gegliedert aufgebaut ..Ein muss für jeden der die Vergangenheit kennenlernen möchte und somit den Mensch der diese Zeit durchlebt hat .Ein Stück DDR Geschichte - welche man besser verstehen kann - egal in welchem System man gelebt hat .Unbedingt zu empfehlen !!!

Museum on the development of Berlin during the time of the Berlin wall. I found most of it quite boring - photos of processions, amusement parks, departmental stores from relatively recent history. Not really worth the entrance fee.

A beautiful little palace, which is open as an exhibition hall. Exhibitions vary and change, so content wise check online, but the space itself is beautiful

die schönste Ecke Berlins (meine Skizzewurde hierher versetzt. Das ehemalige barocke Stadthaus des reichen jüdischen Münzpächters Ephraim steht direkt an der Bus-Haltestelle „Nikolai-Viertel“, Bus M48 Richtung Westen, Richtung Osten hält der Bus am Berliner Roten Rathaus gegenüber. Mit der WELCOME-Card gibt es Ermäßigung! Die sehr sehenswerte Ausstellung Berliner Bilder wurde verlängert bis 28.10.18.

Ein schönes Museum mit schönen Decken-Verzierungen, einer schönen Treppenanlage und einer interessanten Ausstellung über die Schönheit der großen Stadt, in der einigen markanten Stellen von Berlin künstlich abgebildet sind.

Ho adorato questo museo. Si tratta di una esposizione di quadri che ripercorre lo sviluppo di Berlino. Il cambiamento della città viene analizzato sotto diversi punti di vista. Lobiettivo della mostra è quello di mostrare come gli artisti, dal diciannovesimo secolo ad oggi, abbiano percepito i cambiamenti che hanno interessato la città.La mostra, oltre ad essere interessante, è anche strutturata molto bene, infatti lo spazio non risulta dispersivo e nulla è lasciato al caso. Lo consiglio a tutti, perché merita veramente tanto!

Musée somptueux de style Rococo, l’escalier principal est joliment ornementé, les moulures au plafond sont très belles.J’y suis allé pour l’exposition «  Die Schönheit der Grossen Stadt » ( la Beauté de la Grande Ville): très belles peintures du 18-19eme siècle représentant l’évolution de la ville de Berlin sur ce soit architecturalement, économiquement ou encore dans l’art de vivre. A faire pour avoir un aperçu de ce qu’était Berlin avant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.

Expensive and boring. Like a place that time has forgotten. The one positive. The staircase is beautiful.

Keep an eye on this place. It has regular interesting exhibitions though the staff seem intent on making sure that you cant take photos. Reasonably priced as well.
