Enoteca Trastevere - Wine bar in Vatican City, Vatican City
Wow 🤩 super nice Pizza and a delicious tiramisu ☺️5 stars even too less 👌
Outdoor seating in upscale Rome neighborhood. For lunch we had the salad with chevre and caramelized onions and pasta carbonata. Pastas are made in house and the sauce was creamy, light and delicious.
Great pizza, perfect tiramisu.Really recommend eating here.Very fast service. The pizza is made in a old-style oven, fresh ingredients.
Very bad experience. We waited 50 minutes for our order and when we asked the waitress, she didnt have our order. The restaurant wasnt even full so this is unacceptable. Honestly, I am not even sure the chef was in the kitchen. We just paid for our wine and left frustrated.
We had the worst experience at this restaurant. My cousin and I ordered the same food, lasagna Al Rugu, and my cousin’s food did not have any meat. When we told our server, he completely ignored us, and left. We had to call him one more time and for him to come and dig in our food to see if we are telling the truth. The manager didn’t even apologize, they don’t care about their customers. Worst experience ever.
We had a few different foods at this place and all of them were really good. The staff were very friendly too.I recommend dining at this place.
I give the 5 stars because everything we tried was delicious and the staff was very nice.We choose this place because we were extremly tired and it was just there as we walked through Trastevere. We tried the Saltimboca and the Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi con Tartuffo. No wine for us but there was a nice selections as we checked the menu. Also the Tiramisu was delicious, it reminded me of the vanilla icecream my grandma used to make. :)
Came here after searching for a place to eat because one of the restaurants we had wanted to try was closed during Ferragosto. We were so pleasantly surprised. We ordered a caesar salad and the gnocci. Let me tell you that the gnocci is the best bite of food I had in the entire time I was in Trastevere. Excellent service and beautiful atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
I had a more than pleasant experience in this restaurant. The waiting time was fairly short and i was lucky enough to be seated inside. I recommend this as the interior design and decoration is so typical of a wine bar. They also have AC and you can make the most of the jazzy piano played pretty much the whole evening just to top it up the right way. Food wise, I was initially only willing to try their truffle carbonara but ended up having a three course diner. The burrata is as fresh as tasteful and the pasta really didn’t disappoint at all. Their Chianti goes very well with that meal. The white truffle ice cream is also a must try.A great experience overall! Well done to all staff! Especially Anastasia and Anna for their kind service! I’ll definitely come back at some stage.
Fantastic place! The food was excellent - some of the best gnocchi I have ever had. Our waiter, Jad, went to extra lengths to ensure our food was exactly what we wanted.
Food definitely 5 stars! Service very good as well. Weve eaten there twice in 4 days Rome which says allot. Pasta Carbonara and Cappricciosa are very good. Only thing that could be better is the seating. Tables are too close to each other so youll almost feel like youre having dinner with a couple of strangers at your table. Remember to bring cash!! Manager of this place only allows tips in cash for whatever reason..(manager, take care of your workers and allow them to receive tips by card as well).
One of the best Lasagnas! Very friendly personal and nice prices.
Its a place "must visit", we were walking in the quarter Transevere and by chance we saw this nice bar. I must admit that the service is exceptional, themusic is very nice, atmospher is top!! Ale is top of the top!
For me this place brings bad memories. Maybe the food is great but I couldnt try it.We were 3 people but one person only wanted a dessert and this was not possible at dinner time.Just because a person is sick or doesnt feel hungry doesnt make sense why the other 2 didnt had the right to try out your food. We just had to leave this place.. Never coming back.
The worst I have ever been treated in a restaurant.Top tip: have your waiter repeat your order back to you.Was our last evening out in Rome and was thoroughly spoilt by this place. In Trastevere with so many fantastic places spare yourself from this one.
Great service, ambiance and food.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The best food in Trastevere. If you come to Rome, you must visit this place!
Probably the best dining experience we had while in Rome. The food was all delicious. The atmosphere was great. Nice outdoor space in a cute alley with lights and a live pianist. The servers were all very professional and accommodating for our toddler. The only downside might be that it was very busy (for good reason though). We had the amatriciana pasta, as well as the margherita & diavola pizzas. All we’re perfect.
Al dente is one thing but this was undercooked. Waiter tried to trick me into buying a more expensive wine. Pomodoro and beef ragu weren’t very good but weren’t bad either. Waiter also pushed to get our order as soon as we sat down, never welcoming us or anything. It’s Italian food in Rome so of course it’s decent but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Great service and very tasty food and drinks
We had oxtail and pizza, nice dishes. The oxtail was very tender and juicy, big portion.
Really nice, cozy place to eat, especially in the night in the garden is really nice, the pizza was delicious, pasta was good but I expected to be another level as I was in Italy, but was good, the staff was very friendly, we got out food quick as well. We really liked it here even we went back next day.
Great service, in combination with tasty food and wine
Staff were low-key RUDE.WORST TOILET IVE SEEN IN MY LIFE IT WAS LIKE A WARZONE. DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!prices HIGH. Food was ok though and a plus cause it’s open late.Wouldn’t go again. €25 wine that’s only €5 at the supermarket🤔🤔🤔
Nice restaurant with good food. Service was a little slow, but other than that everything we ordered was delicious.
Really great service, they made me a customize cocktail because i really wanted a daiquiri (but w/ strawberriesand amazing pizza. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 really recommended.
Our tris de bruschette was a bit small for the price, but the pasta portions were bigger than expected, so it was fine. The food was very tasty and the pasta was served in little pans, very charming. The service was absolutely impeccable, perfectly organised, fast and super friendly for such a busy place. Wed definitely go back.
Very good food. The spot is perfect. All the staff is very polite. I will be there again on my next trip!
Great place! We were drown by the outside decor and ended up coming twice at this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful and just gives you a good vibe, you feel welcomed 😊. We ate some pinsa and pasta and had tiramisu as desert, which was the best I had in rome! We also found a limited edition wine from a winery owned by the vatican that was sooo tasty. The aperol spritz didnt disappointed either!
The pasta were very good.We asked for carbonara without pork, which they made without problem. We also added truffle. We also had pomodoro pasta, with parmeggiano on demand. The pasta was home made, fresh and perfectly cooked.I don’t rate 5/5 because service was very slow and the cheesecake was not very good.
It was a really windy day, but we could reseat after asked. The food was really good! I had the lasagne and it was so good. Try it! My GF had the pasta cacio e pepe and it was also tasty. But the best was the tiramisu - it was the best food we had while in Rome and we still speak about it!
Very nice environment and the athmosfere.Below average food. "Slowly cooked" ribs were not boiled for 18 hours but probably for 18 minutes. Difficult to cew. Portions are also very small.
My friends wanted to check out this wine bar( they heard great things). Wine bar is an understatement ( hundreds of bottles on each wall, impressive). I dont know what they were drinking ( but they were happy). We had dinner as well, I had meatballs ( dont know what its called sorry )(very good ). We all had a good time. 👍👍👍👍
I would highly recommend this restaurant for both Lunch and Dinner times. The food was some of the best food we had during our trip (the pizza is amazingand the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our waitress Danna in particular was so lovely and accommodating.
We decided to stop by this local restaurant for our 2nd night in Rome and we weren’t disappointed. The carbonara was amazing. The service was great and all the staff were very accommodating and welcoming.Especially our server Ian who made our evening more delightful. Will definitely visit when we are in Rome next time.
Everything was very delicious and the stuff were super friendly. Definitely recommend!
Nice place with average food and very dirty and smelly toillets. Home made pasta was way to al dente "almost uncooked". Personel nice and polite.
We were not disappointed with this place and neither were our taste buds. Thank you to our server Alé who was very caring for us. The gnocchi and the truffle pizza were delicious and the unmissable nutella pizza! Thanks for this moment! If the opportunity presents itself we will not hesitate to return.
The antipasti is below average. I ordered mixed vegi. The main courses ( pasta al fungi and beef pasta was goodThe service is awful and hence the 3 stars rating
December 2018.Sounds far away but, like it was yesterday. The flavors are still on the palate.Hope to arrive soon.
We had a very good time and dinner in Enoteca Trastevere. The staff was very friendly and made a great wine recommendation. Pasta was marvelous. The cheese platter was mouth watering. But mainly the focaccia. Oh my god. I’d give one of my kidneys away for that focaccia. Just do yourself a favor and visit this Enacota
First day in Rome and decided to stop by this local restaurant. I ordered the Carbonara with pecorino cheese.. and it was amazing. The service was great and all the staff was very accommodating. As a tourist, I felt super welcomed. Love this place!
We went out for dinner to the crowded Trastevere and ended up at the Enoteca Trastevere restaurant terrace and it could have never been better! We really enjoyed our experience with the food, the waiters and the atmosphere! Even the owner came out to talk to us and was extremely nice! The spaghetti with shrimps was amazing, also the tiramisu! And the wine of the house really great as well.
Just delicious! Great experience! I recommend to go there in night, it Is better. But you must prepare, there Is a lot of people. Little bit chaotic, but awesome!! Very kind staff And delicious food! But prepare to your money to disappear! Great deserts too! Lovely focaccia!
Had a great Dinner at Enoteca Trastevere. The staff was really nice and the Food was soo delicious. We had a mixed vegetable plate as a starter and Pasta with truffle afterwards as well as a Limoncello on the house :)
Very pleasant Enoteca, offering huge options of wine labels. The dishes are delicious and its presentation is to enjoy with the eyes. The staff, aha, the staff they deserve 10 stars. Super friendly and polyglot people, well-humored and fun to have around. Congrats!
Rosa was such a amazing, friendly and perfect host :the food is a good sized portion. My gf and I had meat and it was very good, tasty, no issues and delicious . This place that we sat is so perfect, outside heated sitting off a nicely and not to busy but very Italian side street - nice candles, heated gas fires everywhere, and a live pianist ! So coZy! I would recommend getting their red wines - have a look at the one we bought. Not rushed and super friendly people and always making sure you are ok and they don’t pester to much - very friendly and smiley staff :):recommenced! Very romantic
The exuberant, personal, sincere service, breadth of wine offerings, prompt service place this small wine bar and restaurant in the best-of-experience categories. We feel we made friends here with the staff over wine and cheese. Top ratings to Andreino - such a great host who really loves his job.Cheers,Rick and Clarence,Pasadena.
Very good servicies, many wines to try, our wine was good. Personally I didn’t like the antipasti served there (some shrimps). Desert was delicious. Pasta was also good.
Give the restaurant the justice. Decent flavored food with good service. Amazing tomato sauces theyve made for every one of their dishes. Only thing you might have an argument is they build a default 10% service fee in your bill, but its all worth it.
