Had great meal here… staff are nice and friendly too!

Friendly staff (Nick was a nice chapand good beer. Had a delicious breakfast on the day I left Amsterdam too, recommended.

Stopped here looking for an English breakfast and thinking it looked ok went in for food. Red flags at first when the guy taking the order chose not to listen on more than one occasion Spent about 10/15 mins waiting for our tea. Then at the end to be told to we couldn’t split the bill quite aggressively which is very awkward as the people I’m with have international banking which isn’t as simple as just transferring money to be used today. The food was ok but all in all the customer service needs a re work.

Enjoyed breakfast here twice! As a brit its tough to find a full English that you enjoy! This is one you will enjoy! Portions are a little on the small side and prices are quite high however all breakfast places charge around the same price in Amsterdam. Thank you

Disgusting! No sense of hygiene. I watched the barman make a pint of Heineken and he poured the drip tray into the pint and gave it to a customer! Also when “washing” glasses they only dip the top of the glass in soapy water for about 3 seconds then dry it with a filthy tea towel. Would not recommend drinking here!!

They didn’t serve Irish coffee as the meny saus but when we left because of this we had to pay to use the toilet. Bad service and foul language as well when we left. Maybe the worst pub experience we have had. Stay away

Fast and courteous - priced a little high but the food was good. We needed breakfast but missed the window for most places - a lot of places werent serving so we ended up here just before noon. High quality ingredients and chips were superb.

Not the best really, 3rd time in Amsterdam and this place was as expensive for breakfast as a steakhouse.... food wasnt great for what you pay I had a burger which wasnt worth half what I paid in terms of quality.....

After 20 mins of waiting between ordering drinks before we could order food, then 35 minutes of waiting before the food came, it came cold and half wrong. We ordered a 4 and a 00 w/ beans, got a 2 and no beans. Was told the beans would come out - alas they never did. Bacon is cooked okay, but impossible to get a fork through. Everything else was cold or tasteless, and the highlight was the Lipton tea which we brewed ourselves.The staff were apologetic so perhaps we just went on a bad day. But wouldn’t recommend if youre looking for a sobering up breakfast! 😔

Never in my life have I had to pay for red sauce for my breakfast. It was all going so well until we went to leave and he charged us for sachets of Tommy k scandalous!!!!

Good quality Full English, just not sure about the mushrooms in garlic. On the expensive side though, not sure how 4 breakfasts and drinks ended up being more than the Mixed Grills with drinks we had the same night in a Steakhouse.

Wouldnt say british but its the closest thing to a full english breakie around amsterdam for what i have found. Every time i come to amsterdam (8th timei go to this in the morning. Good food, tea was what youd expect, no yorkshire but is just as close to a pg. To top it off you can smoke there so its a win win. (if your british)

This place is 100 percent scam. I order some drinks and when it was time to pay. They add extra things on the bill. I do not recommend to go here. The bartender was rude .

Okay they sell beers you can also buy in the UK and they do a full English breakfast and its called London Bridge Arms but thats where the English pub stops. The interior is a typically Dutch brown cafe and the staff are also Dutch, the geeza that severed me didnt understand a lot of what I was saying, at least he understood "a pint of Guinness please".

Cant go wrong with this place, lovely staff we go here every november, the breakfast is a good size and its just a few doors down from coffeeshop resin which is a great place to go and relax after a big breakfast, tram stop cant be more than 30 seconds away.

Watch out for scams! Or avoid altogether. Asked for water with our drinks, they charged us 10,40€ for it. When questioned, the response was "we dont serve tap water". Well, okay, maybe you could mention that when ordering? Also, two of us left earlier and paid for everything they ordered, but the rest of the party was charged again for some of the drinks.

Best pint of Guinness in town , food great .. reasonable prices for football horse racing rugby , all sports men would love this bar , very friendly people and a great atmosphere not far from Amsterdam central. 😀

Staff was rude from the get go...place was not half full, but told straight away, the table was for 4 not 2. If it got busy we would have to move. All before even ordering a drink. The drinks are over priced, €7 for a strongbow or €6 for a coke!

Very friendly. Delicious food. Efficient service. We all had an English fry which was lovely. Only complaint is that mushrooms cooked in garlic....not for breakfast. Keep for main meals.

Small cute British pub in the center of Amsterdam. Lots of choice of beers, ciders and wine with many British brands. Can get a bit loud, but thats expected. Clean facilities too.

A little pub in Amsterdam to catch some football matches on TV...Europa Cup semi final. Except for the name, there is not much London about it. The pub is nice and clean. The beer is cold and the service pleasant.

We visited today on 14/01/2019, a majority of the reviews seemed pretty good and we were in the area so thought we would give it a go. 4 euros for a latte that I could honestly make better at home, English breakfast was very standard if not rubbish. Swapped tomatoes for extra hash brown which I never received, eggs were snotty and one of the yolks broken and hidden under the toast. Sausages were minature and bacon almost took my teeth out. Very disappointed for 32 euros and would not recommend.

Only menu was behind the counter , and prices werent listed beside it so you didnt know how much your order would cost. Poured a decent Guinness though.

Easy to find, very welcoming. The food is fantastic! I have a bowl of spaghetti Bolognese for €8.50. Great value for a great food and the portions were good size too. Only down side which was why if have it 4 stars, its stank off tobacco smoke inside - really off putting when youre eating.

Quiet. Dark. Neon lit. Cool in the summer. Sky sports. Nice staff. Giving it 4 stars because this British pub had no British staff, customers or BEER. Unless you view Guinness as british. Just a dutch pub with pictures of a red London bus on the walls.

One of my favorite “local” bars in Amsterdam. I go here every time I’m in town. They staff is always friendly, and I always seem to make new friends here. Good snack food also.

This rating was a difficult one. While the fish-and-chips was outstanding, the cream-of-mushroom soup was extremely thin and actually a poor representation of English cuisine. The beer (and the waitstaffwere spot on and were the only things that pushed this up from a three-star rating.So fix the inconsistencies in the kitchen and this would be a top-notch English pub. We will be back again to give the place another shot - and hopefully make this a regular place to visit...

Good quiet place for breakfast. Has English breakfast which seems to be their popular offering: Comes with two eggs sunny side up , two toasts, thick bacon, side of grilled tomato and mushroom. Good soup selection as well. Has outdoor seating with smoking provision. Great for quick bites. Good quality food.

Finally a place to have Guinness, coming from Berlin!Found the other beer somewhat flat with a strange odor, but didnt try anything else so cannot really comment on quality.Overall it was somewhat empty, given its Monday at 3pm. Would I go back? Maybe if in the area and thirsty for a Guinness and maybe some fish and chips.

It looks like a nice enough pub from the outside and the interior is pleasing. Theres all the pub drinks you would want and staff is nice. The music is godawful loud hitparade crap so only go here if you are a group of twentysomethings avoid it if you are anything else.

Asked for no beans with breakfast (allergy to sauce), given beans and when I highlighted issue given a bowl to put them in so couldnt eat half the meal! Staff said "didnt want to discuss it" ... Rude and unhelpful ... There are a lot better places in Amsterdam
