England Pub (Bar) in Ljubljana

Staff member made a racist comment to me - Im British born Chinese and one of them randomly said "ching chang chong" to me. I have left a more detailed review on the other page. Very unfriendly and slow service in regards to the pub.

Good fun pub with decent prices and good beer selection.

Bar staff were lovely however the owner, not so nice. Do not attend unless you can constantly be drinking as we were removed from the “pub” after not ordering a drink immediately after finishing our previous drinks. Toilets were alright (not very British).

Below average pub and that’s saying something only had one English beer on draft. Had 2 pints to watch the football and the owner wasn’t any of it. He then decided to kick me and my mates out for not having another pint straight after, even though we were waiting for the start for another game. The bald tubby man who thought he was Mancunian also slatted me for wearing a shirt other than a Manchester United which I found to be very demoralising and insulting which we took offence too. We found this especially surprising as we are English are selves and we’re very polite and treated them with respect. Furthermore, it is CASH ONLY and they are laundering money go check them out.

This place is fantastic, closest youll get to England in Slovenia.

Great bar with some interesting beers on tap, they even have a couple tvs to watch football.

Worst service in Slovenia so far... I thought it was general cause it really seemed like I was bothering the barman just by ordering a beer... but then 3 girls came in and they got a very nice welcome and service. So i guess service quality depends on your gender...

The greatest atmosphere in town, friendly staff and delicious beer! Also, really close to the main train and bus station.

Friendly owner who was happy to put the rugby on for me and make comments throughout the game.

Observed how the owner and his few inebriated friends racially abused a group of Russian guests. Very distasteful.Overall a very bland place with no atmosphere (a few union jacks dont make an English pub), youd be better off going elsewhere.

Great atmoshpere and best waiters. Here you will find a pleasant fair shade in summer time and a lot of sunshine in winter!

Great selection of beer and spirits, some draft including London pride. Good ambience, lots of covered tables outside and fast service. Live sports sometimes

I guess lower prices are forva reason. Not to say that the service was bad just n9t as good by direct comparison.

Good place to hang out. Especially on Saint Patricks day.

Old fashioned english drinking pub. Perfect for watching football game with friends. If they find a parking.

Despite the cheesy name and English themed style pub, its a great little bar, very friendly service and great for watching sport on TV.
