Didnt have food, but the beer was subpar. Was very crowded and standing room only at the time, but was also mid-day Saturday. Probably wont go back.

Pretty cool building! We noticed they had a room on the side with a nice sized Vinyl record collection! Not sure whats up with that, dont know if the patrons can use the record player or not but still cool nonetheless. We liked the dark woodworking and old school looking bar. They actually have quite a few different offerings than most "breweries" in the area. They even have a few of their own Meads! The food was pretty good. Kinda greasy spoon bar style food, nothing too special but some decent fare you dont always see at other places, seemed mostly homemade from scratch rather than Sysco made.

Definitely try this place! Good drinks. Very knowledgeable about their craft. Excellent service. Dessert was delicious. Excellent ambiance!

Friendly, quiet brew pub located in downtown Menasha. A nice selection of on-premise craft beers and reasonably-priced menu items. Prices were less expensive than similar local restaurants. Old time wood bar with plenty of seating. Dining area was quite large. Service was a little slow but given the nature of staffing issues, wasnt horrible. Would definitely go again.

Had never heard of them but saw their ad in the moneysaver and knew the road construction was hurting their business so I thought it was the perfect time to give them a try. So glad I did!! The layout and decor are great, but the beer and food are even better!Light beer drinkers will be delighted by the variety they have to offer that most microbrews cant deliver, but beer connoisseurs will not be disappointed, and they make a pretty great muddled old-fashioned too.Was honestly impressed by everything and I cant wait to go back! This was date night done right!!

Promptly greeted upon waking in. Not at all busy at 5:30ish (there was maybe 6 other people in the bar area. After that it goes down hill. The staff is super friendly but the service is WAY way slow and totally unattentive. I had to ask if we could order drinks soon which after placing my order she started walking away when I had to stop her to take the other drink orders we had. We also had to stop another wait staff member if we could place a food order since our waitress was distracted doing other stuff. I feel bad about this rating because I feel like they meant well. The beer was meh also. I got the burger with cream cheese and bacon which was raved about in the online reviews which is why I decided to come here. Sadly for me this missed the mark too. To end on a positive I give the friendliness 5 stars but it takes more then that to run a good business

Edit:2022You can see the Potential, and feel something holding it back. I stopped by again bc it’s close to home. The menu has focused on burgers and specials. They have a decent Friday night fish fry specials . The perch was well beer breaded with 1 large butterfly that was delicious. If you compare it to other is the area, this serving is still really small. They should add another half a butterfly to be competitive.I was excited to see they have a range of beers now. The old fashioned was 5/5. The beers were 1/5. I had a flight, and from lagers to ipa to nitro sout, they lacked mouth feel and felt/ tasted watered down. The worst micro brew beers I’ve tasted. As much as I wanted to like them, I’ve never tasted an ipa that felt like a light beer. Compared to options in the area, it’ll be another 2 years until I come backService was 10/10, friendly and Attentive

Fish fry once again is the best in the area.Had some of their special reserve Mead, golden rule, awesome and fantastic.

Up and coming brewery....looking forward to what their beers transition to. Quality and style variety already steps ahead of others. Looking forward to trying their food sometime too!

Ate here for the first time tonight. Food was outstanding as well as the service. Our group had the fish, haddock, bluegill and perch. Plus the pub burgers and appetizers. Everything was wonderful! Definitely going back again. Drinks were very good also!

I dont even know where to start. The food is good, but not great, and extremely overpriced for what you get. Honestly, I thought the prices were ridiculous. Cheapest burger on the menu is $10 and all you get with it is lettuce, tomato, onion, and soggy over salted french fries. You can add cheese to that burger for $1 more though. Most expensive burger is $15. I dont think any burger is worth $15. Their pizzas are also outrageously over priced. Cheapest pizza is $12 for 7". Their most expensive pizza is $19 for 10". All their pizzas lack any substantial toppings and the crust is par cooked and frozen. And dont even waste your time on their appetizers. This place is clearly not in the business of giving you your moneys worth, but rather in the business of taking as much of your money as they can while giving you as little as possible.Now lets talk about their supposed award winning craft beers. I wasnt able to find any info in regards to them receiving awards for their beer, so how is it award winning. Dont claim award winning if you have never actually received any awards. Doing so is dishonest and misleading. I thought the beer was horrible and had a strong sour taste. I know good craft beer and this place doesnt have anything close.I think the thing that bothered me the most was the owner. He seemed very narcissistic to me. He definitely had a very over inflated sense of his personal importance and the quality of his business, and he did very little to assist in the operations of service. I would think that during this time an owner should take on more responsibility for their business than anyone else. In what little conversation I had with him I could tell that he was not a genuine person by any standard, but rather very fake and overinflated. I most definitely did not care for him at all.With our food and beers, our bill came out to over $100. What we received was simply not worth that price. Both my wife and I left very dissatisfied in our overall experience and we will not be returning.

Amazing food. Amazing drinks. Amazing service.My hubby loves craft beer and hes loving the beer. Im an avid cider lover and theyre making some REALLY great ciders, too! Im really picky about quality ingredients and their food doesnt fail to deliver! Overall, Im really glad we stumbled upon this place!

We came up the channel on our boat. Ended up here and were pleasantly surprised. The cream cheese bacon burger was amazing! We are pretty picky foodies so that says a lot. They had some unique beers on tap that were good as well. Would have been 5 stars but the service was a little slow. Great place for Menasha though! Must check it out!

So glad we finally stopped in there! The location is perfect and the building is just gorgeous. First and foremost...truly amazing beer! We sampled several/most of the beers they have. Wow...the multi layers of flavors in the beers really pop and we love how full bodied they are. There is a great variety of the types of beers he makes (including a scrumptious Mead!). Was told he uses locally sourced ingredients and we are all about supporting our local businesses (especially now). The hostesses were wonderful and can tell they have as much passion as was told the owner does. The information provided really got us understanding his background in relation to his brewing processes. We are very much looking forward to going back, meeting him and hearing more about the beers, ciders and wines he produces!(Pic...purchased there the most beautiful growler and had it filled with a yummy Orange Creamsicle Milkshake IPA)

The bluegill was worth the trip. Beer was also delicious. The appetizers (fried pickles & jalapeno poppperswere a cut above the rest. Atmosphere was nice. Definitively will return.

We purchased a $50.00 gift certificate from a radio station before Covid-19 shut down. Unfortunately we were unaware of the expiration date, which was during the Covid-19 shut down. I emailed 4 times to find out if they would honor the $50.00 gift certificate due to unforeseen circumstances. I received no read receipt or an email response, so we stopped in on 08/29/2020. When asked if they would honor the gift certificate they said no due to something about the radio station. I was shocked they wouldnt honor the gift certificate at all, not even half of it (which we would have been a little happier). Very disappointing. The beers we had were good. I ordered a chicken, bacon and ranch wrap. On their menu it shows lettuce , bacon, chicken and ranch. When I received the wrap it had tomatoes on it. So I ended up picking out the tomatoes, thinking I made a mistake in reading the menu. But looking on the online menu it wasnt my mistake. Wrap was still very good but didnt like having to pick out the tomatoes. The staff was extremely friendly and informative of the business. Very clean and neat looking place.Update: They just replied to my email right after I left this review. They are having us contact Cumulus to see if they will do an exchange on the certificate.Update 2: Neither Emprize Brew Mill or the Radio Station is willing to do anything. They noted due to they were open during the whole shutdown they wont offer anything. What they dont understand not everyone felt comfortable grabbing food for takeout or delivery. This Pandemic is real and very serious and they are not willing to work with us. Very disappointing on both businesses.

Purchased certificate before covid and found it expired. Emailed them several times, if they would honor it but no response.Drove down to try it for the first time.Asked if they would honor it but was told no. Asked if they could honor the half i paid for and was also turned down.Decided to try anyway and found food was good along with the beers. Staff was friendly and pleasant.Will not return thou because of issue listed above. My $40 billed turned out to be a $65 bill .Understand i should of used it earlier but we do have a covid lock down and closures.

We sat outside on a beautiful evening. The flight of beer was great. All were a little different than typical offerings, and they were all excellent. The burger and pizza we had were very good. The service was excellent. We will be going back.

I stopped by on a slow Sunday to get a growler to bring home. It appeared like they were enforcing social distancing, and had hand sanitizer available. Bartenders had on masks. Their beer list had plenty of interesting options, I settled on their IPA, which was an interesting malty take on the style. Ill definitely stop by again on my way through!

The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was very good. We made a reservation online not knowing how busy it would be at 6 pm on a Friday night but it turned out we would have been fine without one. The only negative was that it took a while for our food to be served and my friends risotto was luke-warm. Overall though it was nice to have a new restaurant to try and we all liked what we ordered so we will go back again.

If I could do zero or negative stars I would. This was the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. It took over 20 minutes to get drinks, over an hour to get appetizers and almost two hours to get entrees. The food wasn’t that good, and the service well again was some of the worst I have ever had, and I work and have worked in the service industry for over seven years. They couldn’t even split the bill correctly. Will not ever go back and would not ever recommend.

Bartender didnt know what styles the in - house beers were. Seemed new though, but obviously a training issue. It might not be a bad thing though since all of the beers I tried were way off. I dont mean "could be better". I mean they didnt taste right AT ALL. Id need to dig through the equipment from lauder tun through tap lines to find out just where, but its wrong. Food was great though which is what gives it 2 stars.

Pretty good beer selections. Wouldve given a better review, but my burger was well done and dry. (I ordered it medium It did have very good flavor, though. The sweet potato fries were cut smaller and overcooked, as well.

The beer has gotten really bad. It was good when they first opened. Now theres a sour taste to everything. The quad was sour, the scotch ale was sour and hinted of detergent. I sat there from 3-4:30 on a Friday and not another person showed up during. The staff was friendly. Wifi was strong.

My burger was very good. So there is that and the DCs Walleye was nicely cooked as well. So just food 4 stars. But when the mixed drinks are better than the beer at a craft beer place, got to take one off. Tried a sampler and only the black lager was good to my taste. The others were just odd for the style they advertised to be. maybe the IBU analysis is off?

The food was very good. The salmon and the steak were cooked perfectly. The beer was good and served at a good temperature (not ice cold). I didnt think that the quadruple matched the style name but it was good as a whatever style. The black IPA was a little light on the hops for my taste.I wish there were backs on the chairs. It is hard to enjoy a meal when I have to remain perched on a stool.I would return to Brew Mill, but I hope they continue to refine the beer to meet the standards of todays microbrewing scene.

Did a wine tasting/presentation. Was able to sample 6 wines including 2 made on site. The cheese & fruit platter was delicious & paired perfectly.

They have a great selection of beer and they brew some on site. I had the cream cheese burger. I was a little apprehensive at first because that seems like a strange combination but it was so good. My sister had the shrimp and scallop scampi and she said it was delicious. Her portion size was huge. Definitely come here again.

I love that they have a mead, but unfortunately the taste has been different everytime we have been there. The beers are also very inconsistent, and you are never sure what you are going to get. One time the quad was really good with sweet carmel taste, next time it was super sour. Food is also hit or miss here.

Some of the best, if not the best burgers in the valley. To say nothing of their beer, which is top tier.If your into big macs and bud lite, it might not be your place. But if you like good food and micro brew, its definitely should be on your short list

Keto friendly. Got my burger no bun cooked to rare with seasonal veggies. Cream cheese was loaded with bacon bits and topped on the burger with fried onions and mushrooms. My only suggestion is to get a flame grill of some sorts to add that tasty smokey flavor to the meats. Other than that highly recommend!

Enjoyed Friday evening fish fry. Service was excellent and the food vary tasty. Have enjoyed both lunch and dinner at the Brew Mill and have not been disappointed. Try the Stuffed French Toast, WOW!

My wife and I went in for lunch after voting. We were quickly greeted and given waters. There were only 2 tables seated when we came in an sat next to one of them. Shortly after a group of 8 came in and immediately stole all the attention. We were able to place our order and then were not helped again. After an hour (11:50am - 12:45pmwe still did not have our food and neither did the table sitting next to us, who were already there when we arrived. The table of 8 on the other hand, had their drinks and were finishing up appetizers. When we saw the first burger finally come out and go to the group table that was enough. Ourselves and the table next to us got up and left so we could find some quick food before getting back to work late. Horrible service!!!

The building itself is very nicely done but their beers are at best average and food good but not differentiated. Went there on a mission to check out someplace we have not been before and we can report there are better options. Everyone was super friendly but my WIPA was nothing special and my wife ordered a Honey Wheat that we sent back as it both smelled and tasted chemically in nature. The fish fry was good with a choice of four fish types and a few breading options. I had the perch with Panko breading and it was good. Might give it another try in six months or so. Great upside potential.

Being from out of town, we were so excited to try this place. Quaint downtown with a new, up and coming kind of vibe. We are beer people and were happy to find a beer place that also has food. Beer was good, food not so much. Over fried cheese curds and under cooked fries. Staff was friendly and beer selection was varied which is a plus.

My husband and I stopped there to eat on a Thursday night for the first time and we really loved it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and we thought the food was delicious!! Steak and baked potato soup, a yummy burger and I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was out of this world!! I have been talking this restaurant up all week. (I would like them to replace the dark colored glass on the huge front windows with regular clear glass, because the dark glass gives a less welcoming impression. Customers are unable to see the beautiful interior.

Came on Wednesday at 5:15 as a table of 3 with only two other couples there. Could only drink one beer as the two waitress/bartenders were never in room to refill is.Our order was mistakenly given to another table so we had to wait again. They then brought one of us the wrong plate so we had to wait again. The bacon mac & cheese did not have any bacon . The chicken tenders were tough but the burger and fries were good. Beer was also good, just wish we could have been offered more. Well well try again as everyone has a bad day... But so far unimpressed.

I stopped at 3:30 on a weekday afternoon, so no worries about crowds. My reception was very welcoming and helpful. I chose a gouda n bacon burger w fries. I couldnt try any beers as I was on break before driving back to Madison :(The burger was .. good. Unfortunately, thats all I can say. Im sure its just me, but, it reinforced why I rarely go out for burgers. The burger seemed overcooked(ordered mediumand the bacon undercooked. Not enough chew for the beef and too much for the bacon. The hand-crafted(?fries were fine, but, fell into the same trap as usual .. too many arrive bogged down by the oil they were fried in. Hand-cut fries tend to need more time to cook and unless the oil is good and hot they soak it up. I enjoyed about half of them and left the rest. Everything was flavorful enough but just fell short on potential.I did like the atmosphere/ambience .. remembering I was one of only 3-6 people there through my visit.

Good food and good beer. The atmosphere was pretty nice, too. Our waitress was new so service was a bit slow but we didnt mind.

Enjoyed brunch on Sunday morning. Tried the Steak Omelet and Veggie Omlet. Both were very good. The OBrien potatoes are made from scratch and perfect. Beautiful interior; clean and comfortable seating. Looking forward to returning for dinner soon!

Excellent steaks!!! Every aspect of our dinner was absolutely spot on this evening...from the tender and delicious perfectly cooked steaks, the spring salad with amazing croutons and homemade ranch dressing, the creamy Pinot Grigot asparagus soup, to the garlic mashed potatoes and the killer garlic and dill baby reds - everything was just spot on!!!! They were even short staffed tonight after dealing with a call-in - and our food arrived hot, fresh and absolutely delicious!!!! The staff and owner were beyond gracious hosts and we look forward to going back soon to try the famous spinach and artichoke bread bowl and, of course, the Cheesecake Eggrolls!!!! Wonderful addition to the Menasha area and especially great that we dont have to travel to Appleton for a great steak dinner!! A+ and I highly recommend giving Emprize the opportunity to show you what they have to offer...I guarantee youll be impressed!!! We sure were!!!

Took 1.5 hours for 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and some cheese curds. During that time water was refilled 1 time. The cheese curds were good but the "medium" burgers were still mooing and the fries were cold. The wait staff kept blaming the wait on different things. I wish it was a better experience but there are too many amazing restaurants out there to give this place another shot.
