Museum featuring a vast collection of vintage & modified cars, trucks & military vehicles.
Great place to visit for car lovers. Would not recommend to visit in summer because air conditioning not good inside showroom and kids get irritated.
The museum is layed out in a way that makes me feel like Im at a village car show. The collection is spectacular and interesting to look around at. I had memories associated with many of the cars and friends/family who drove them.We visited in the summer and although there are AC units throughout, it was still hot inside. I suggest planning your visit in the winter. This is a curiosity stop if youre enroute to Qasr Al Sarab.
I visited this museum 4 years ago.Its a very nice museum.However;- The air conditioning system is insufficient and you want to leave as soon as possible due to the heat.- Many vehicles do not have an information card. For those who have information, only the year of manufacture and brand are written.
This place is for car lovers,,, a huge number of vintage cars are in this placeEntry ticket is quite expensive,
What an outstanding effort by Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan and his team to restore and maintain such a beautiful collection which takes us through the fascinating journey of the evolution of the automobile. It would take 2-3 hours to enjoy the collection, do carry water & light snacks. Comfortable footwear highly recommended.
Amazing place to visit for car lovers. Good collection of classic to modern, economy to luxury cars. Scope of improvement on sharing vehicles information in English for visitors, should detail more information about the collections.
Great experience to see the vast amount of beautiful cars, both vintage and modified owned by the Sheikh. The rainbow collection, the record holder Willy, the Dodge wagen, caravans were all mind numbing. The impressive collection of vintage cars from each era/country were maintained to high standards, gleaming polish and labelled markers.A large selection was American beauties, inclusive of a Sheriffs car as well as a yellow cab.Entrance fee is 50aed for adults and the staff leave you alone for a leisurely walk through and timings 9am-6pm, all days. You may need 2-2.5hr if youre an absolute enthusiast.
An amazing place for car lovers specially for classic car lovers. The entry fee is 55dhs which is a bit too much but definitely worth for a car enthusiast
Good place for car enthusiasts. Nice collection of classic cars, modified cars and Monster trucks. Entry fees is aed 55/-
An incredible experience and an amazing variety of cars. Im not even too much of a petrol head, but thoroughly enjoyed this museum. Most of the cars are in pristine shape and awesome to see up close. It is located in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive.
Worth the drive all the way out there - it’s a walk through history with some incredible cars - it’s smaller than off road history museum but worth the price to visit for sure.Make sure to stock up on water and what you need as you won’t find much to buy on the way or when you get there.
As a car guy, the place was great and I knew most of the cars, however they could have had more information on the cars there, specially for the ones who may not be as aware about them and please turn on the AC.
Nice to see the old card going back to the history
Great experience. Its not well maintained outside but inside all is perfect. Lots of cars to see, some quite rare. Worth the trip if youre going to Abu Dhabi.
Great place for a quick outing! For auto freaks
Good place for car lovers and passionists. Very nice arrangements. However the giant vehicles outside are not maintained in a best condition. Its a bit away from the city. No options for tea and snacks. The toilet is clean, but not matching with the standard and importance of the museum.
Travelled a long distance on Tuesday at 12noon, only to get there and its Closed. According to the message outside the gate..... It seems like this place is TEMPORARILY CLOSED.Myself and family was really looking forward to the visit, its a shame we couldnt enter. Please triple check before visiting. See pictures.
If you are a car lover, this is the place you must visit. Best collection, nicely maintained all fleets and looks like new. Some rare collections are amazing 🙌 place is little far away but worth watching all beauties under one roof. Just fill your fuel tank and enjoy long drive..
A great place for car enthusiasts. They have a nice collection of vintage cars. This attraction is on the way to Ruwais. The only way to get here is via private vehicle. There are no food and beverage stalls around. So make sure to have a good meal before coming and bring some water too.Adult ticket price is 55 AED/person.The place would benefit from a makeover. And an increase in ventilation inside the museum.
Good place to see the cars older than you.Easily accessible by road.Vast airconditioned interior in black theme.Well marked guided directions to cover all the displayed cars.Ample Seating benches inside.Mega sized truck in the centre of the building is awe to watch.Very less visitors frequent this place so it is very peaceful to spend 2hrs.2 Guinness record items on display (RV&Jeep)Clean toilets. However,Only car name, model and year is displayed no other details like engine or hp or any other speciality event information is not given.E.g. RR used for receiving Queen Elizabeth 2 in UAE.Noisy upper walkway. No shelter or restaurant nearby. No other experience except seeing the car.
Rusting and dirty from the outside, feels abandoned. But inside holds a collection of American and European cars. Enjoyable stop over between Abu Dhabi and Liwa but probably not worth a drive except for auto amateurs.
Very nice place for car lovers .Ticket Price bit high .We can spend time here 2 to 3 hrsWe can see here small car to very big truck. Thanks to who make this very car collection auto museum
If you are the lover of cars. This is the place you need to visit , before there was not a ticket or ticket was very cheap but now they increase the price but still worth it.Specially there are some vehicles you will surprise with the beauty and art work.
Good place to visit if you like cars. Its located on Hameem road, the entry fee is AED 55 per person. Closes at 5 pm, there is no nearby place for refreshments
Excellent and very impressive collection of cars. One who like cars will enjoy and will see very unique collection. Its 50 mins drive from Abu dhabi city. It closes at 5pm and ticket is AED 55 per person. One issue is ACs are off so I felt very suffocating inside and was feeling difficulty in breathing as some colour smell was there. So better ventilation can be done. Otherwise this place is worth to visit.
Very good, a little quite and a long distance away from any bus stop. Driving is the only way to get there
Very big collection of cars if you like cars the most you need to come here, for me as a car lover this museum is a big treasure, I highly recommend this museum!!!!!
I am really surprised to see 4+ rating for this place. This does not look like Museum at all. It’s a big garage with few real vintage cards. 200 cars kept without any spacing. You can’t even take good photographs since the cars almost touch the glass barricade. The 4-5 cars that many reviews talk about is all what is there. Rest are just normal old cars kept one after other.• Place is too far, they could have easily accommodate this anywhere near the city• Two big vehicles outside main area and one inside it is all there for a photo opportunity.• It’s costly. For 55 AED you can do better things.• It gets very hot inside the pyramid. There are few split ACs which are not useful.• It looks like a deserted place, the facility is not managed. Just a guard at main entrance and another one inside. No washrooms.• The big Dodge inside pyramid has another life size dodge kept in front of it. And halogen lights come from behind. So it becomes difficult to take pictures without glare. If you are short of time, go for mangrove walk, Marina walk or desert drive. This can be the last priority.
Very interesting place specially for car lovers. Recomending to visit there when winter season.
Was good experience overallDisappointing that the Air Conditioner were very low but had good time in there. The Craziness of Cars 😍😍
Awesome cars! But I wish they had big area for all these cars to be separated🥰 I mean each one in one place so I can take good photos😂🙏
It was a nice experience to see different kinds of vintage cars and it would definitely blow your mind because of gigantic trucks which I enjoyed taking pictures of it. I advise you to visit the place in winter time and be prepared for entrance fee w/ vat (55aed).
If you are interested in cars this is the right place …. It’s unique for its collection
Very nice place.. you can see that the Shiekh had passion for cars.. very historic cars can be found here.. Overall an outstanding experience and worth the long drive and the visit.
As you enter you will have to pay 55 dhs per person [ only cash & it’s open only 3 days in a week (Thursday,Friday,Saturday)] ,its a good place you can spend your 3hrs here, exploring the vintage cars and trucks. #Nomadicflavours
A very nice collection of vintage cars...I’m not really a car person but it was nice to see the difference between the brands and the diversity of design one person can collect in a lifetime. Really amazing experience. 😍
Great car museum. Spent 2.5hrs here enjoying the collection. Well worth a visit.
Its OPEN as of December 28th!!Arrived and found out they only take cash, no cards. So had to make a trip to a local supermarket which had a cash point.Back to museum, and we were the only visitors! Lots of cars and a few trucks. A couple of novelty large vehicles I.e. massive Land Rover out side and huge Dodge truck in side. But apart from that just lots of quite ordinary cars. Also very little in the way of descriptions, just car Make, Model and year.Good Collection but details about the cars were missing. 98% of the cars were in very good conditions. Novelty products were the 4 grand or giant vehicles. Few bad points, 1. Middle of nowhere. 2. Except cash only ... No Cards. 3. Few Visitors. Time can be spent depending on your interest.
IT IS OPEN as of 1 DEC 2020.Visited on 24 Dec. Everything is polished and spotless. Open on TH, FR, SA. 55AED per person.Great set of cars that took us on a journey thru time. Quite fun!!
The most amazing muesum of cars. They got a huge collection of old vintage cars. That fill you eys with the beauties. They got some enormous size cars as well among them they got a doge power car, a willey jeep, a landrover. They also got a giant carvan. Some of the cars are prety unique. A must visit place.
AED 55 entry per person, no kids prices.Good collection of cars, many custom vehicles.Well laid out.
Great collection of legendary cars. But not every taxi driver knows how to get there from Abu Dhabi. And it could be quite difficult to get back to the city if you don’t negotiate this with your taxi driver or get your car. Taxi will costed us 125 AED one way from the center of Abu Dhabi.Entry fee is 55 AED. Only for adults. Kids go for free.
My 4th or 5th visit over the last 12 years.Nice to see the odd one or two cars being changed and added.Price for entry is now AED 55 per person.Definitely worth the drive out to see someones personal car collection. Some absolute classics.Cafe and shop are now closed.Toilets still open and surprisingly very clean.
Wonderful collection of old cars. Far from town. In the middle of desert. No other activities possible. Some of the area closed for construction. Entry ticket cost AED 55 per head.
It’s a far drive and it seems like it is in the middle of no where but so worth it. 55AED entrance and such an amazing collection. I just wish there was information on each cars history. My 3 year old son loved it!
How would you like to wake up, see a car you thought was cool on TV, in a movie, or anywhere for that matter and then just buy it? Maybe you want to customize it or just build something outrageous?Well, apparently, Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdhan did and still does all of that and more. He has a very eclectic collection. Id say more Mercedes than any other vehicle. Hes called the rainbow Sheikh and it shows on several cars that were painted that way + about 6 Mercedes S Class sedans parked next to each other, each one a different rainbow color. Then the VERY oversized Dodge pickup that dominates the facility. It has 4 bedrooms inside and tires built for driving on the sand. Its driving life was very short, the axle broke on the first trip.Worth the drive to its remote location.
Must visit place in Abudhabi. Pyramid shape building in the middle of desert containing around 250 car collections (vintage, military, truck).World largest jeep, truck you can see here. This museum owed by Sheik Hamad bin hamdan al Nahyan. He is a car lover, he took lots of effort for this museum. He is also known as "Rain bow sheik ". Coz u can see couple of Mercedes benz car with rainbow colour. Aed 55 is entry fees (still worthy)
The museum manages collections of cars mainly from the US, and the company mercedes is devoted to the car that is here in the UAE popular. information about Arabic only. admission 50 AED February 2018
Situated in the middle of nowhere .. Feels like a long drive from Dubai. If you love classic cars, especially American, Merc and Landover, then its worth the effort. If you like modern cars.. Dont go..
Its hub fot car vintage lovers. Its located far out of town and has good collection of vintage as well as monster vehicles and a full floor of Mini Cooper. Not too much crowd puller.
