Great stay, friendly and affordable and the villas great.
Friendly staff, great location, neat & tidy definitely worth a stay, you wont regret.
Nice clean park that has very little shade so was very hot in the afternoon no swimming pool seems a bit strange
Helpful friendly staffNeat .tidyClean amenitiesGreat place for overnight stays
A surprisingly large park with super friendly and helpful staff, a fish and chip van which makes THE best fish and chips, quiet location and a very large unpowered area. Amenities old but clean.
Do not stay here there are extremely rude. Try any where else before here. They cancelled our booking. No recommend at all
A great stop over after a long day driving in from the outback.Very well managed park. All sites a well prepared. The Crab Hut is a winner. Amenities are clean and monitored regularly by staff. The only park in Qld that has embraced recycling. Thanks for a great stopover.
Caravan Park that includes a R/V section. $8 per adult per night and full use of Park facilities. Excellent camp kitchen
Great park Park good amenities we stayed unpowered with water super friendly staff a big tick from me
Had a great overnight stay here. We stayed in one of the motel rooms which was very clean and well-kept. Everything we needed for the night. Staff were very friendly at check in too and have put a lot of work into the park
Came for 2 nights and stayed for 4. Fiche and chips dinner fantastic.
Great music around the camp fire, dogs allowed on a leash, fish and chips highly recommended (order from the officeand friendly other visitors. Will return to this park for sure.
I recommend this van park for their friendly environment plus great entertainment for happy hour around the campfire π₯ plus friendly owners & staff who are doing a wonderful job with the upkeeps of keeping everything tidy & clean
Called before closing time, lady at reception was very friendly and helpful, they had a happy hour with a singer entertaining the people, also a small kitchen "The Yabby Trap"" for people to ordered their fish chips, squid for the night.Park was full with all the interstate visitors.Nice place to stay, will return hopefully in the near future.
Happy helpful staff, amenities nice and clean and showers hot, well set out camp kitchen with happy hour area and evening entertainment what more could we want. Enjoyed our stay and will stay again, thank you
Packed in like sardines. Overcrowded showers very old and shabby. Arrived after rain, next campervan got bogged in on site, he had to be towed out then had to park up in our car space dissapointed as not cheap
Busy caravan park. Good facilities and entertainment. Staff very helpful. I would recommend booking ahead. Short walk to shopping area. Id stay again.
Large caravan park with amenities in need of update & enlarging to suit. Happy hour music excellent, also Fish n Chips available..
Came into town, saw a sign and came here, easy cheap unpowered site for the night, beautiful set up areas, happy friendly staff, wonderful and clean, would definitely stay again if I come back this wayThank you so much
Absolutely loved our stay here. We had a cabin and it was everything we needed. Great location and value for money. Fish and Chips on site are bang on! Everyone was super friendly. We will definitely be back.
The toilet & shower facilities are absolutely disgusting.Shower walls have great prices falling off them, the concrete floors are so old & should be condemned. The staff worked so well trying to clean the old bathrooms. The Emerald city council should send health inspectors to access the disgraceful bathrooms..
Great spot. Fish n chips Thursday night, pizza Friday and live country music both nights. Friendly, clean and tidy. What more do you need.
This is a great park to rest up awhile. A large area, all the facilities, and even takeaway food, A very popular park, and dirt cheap if you dont require external power. Situated close to town.
Very nice quiet caravan and cabin park.
We stay here every year on our winter break very nice and relaxing welcoming management and staff
A little bit of confusion at the start but it was eventually all sorted. Staff seemed very friendly at check in. We had a slab site which was big enough to fit our large van and car.Fish and chips was a great touch and gave us a night off cooking after a long drive.
Great park.Fish and chips on site.We got the pensioner pack 20 bucks great value and delishes.Lovely firepit with evening happy hour entertainment.Dog friendlyNeeds more amenities but thats my only gripe.
Great overnight stay. $8p/p unpowered. Clean amenities. Happy hour at firepit with music. Order fish n chips and collect at end of happy hour.
We stayed in the u/pow area, at $8pp/nit was fine for us. There was entertainment every evening with alog fire gathering area.Lovely fish n chips freshly cooked, great value for your money.Toilet block was cleaned often.
Our favourite van park. We very rarely stay in caravan parks but this is an exception. Was here in 2019 and again now 2022. Great price, lovely people running the park and so much to offer plus close to town and the botanical gardens.
This is the 2nd time we have parked our van at this tourist park and just gets better each time staff are so good they would park your van if asked , amenities are very clean also theres events organised through out the week if you wish to participate as well as fish and chips or pizza nights
Booked a cabin hot water was that dialed down that no cold was needed and only 1 person could have a shower before it ran out ... aircon just started randomly leaking all over the bed in the middle of the night. No space for clothes or to hang clothes,
Fantastic park big sites but no pool or play stuff for kids
Nice park. If you can go unpowered its worth the $8pp a night. Powered is $37. Place is very clean and the toilets were spotless with good water pressure. They have music for one hour in the evening with the fire on, makes the atmosphere inviting. Felt safe and secure. No pool.Entry and Exit gates could be more signposted as they are hidden and its not till you are pulling up you realise. The camp kitchen was fantastic, had a TV and well spaced out. Keep up the good work guys
Nice clean tidy park. Have happy hour each night around a camp fire. Camp kitchen, amenities see but clean, good flat parking area $8 pp on in the non powered area
Sadly the WiFI is patchy and is mostly unusable. For something that travellers rely on when they get to a town, the owners urgently need to invest in an upgrade.
Amenities require an upgrade. Camping area rocky and lacking much grass. Staff were friendly and the price was good
We stay for 3 nights at Emerald Tourist Park. There has been no thought into placing caravans onto the new caravan slabs, we have a 23ft caravan and we were put on the smallest slab, the big slab was available, 2 days later a very small caravan was positioned on the largest slab, makes no sense!!! The piles of dirt between sites we were told was for gardens to separate the sites BUT that meant there wasnt enough room to park your tow vehicle, people were being asked to shift their vehicles because someone coming in couldnt back into the site, very annoying. Ementies were we old, clean but not a good look. Staff were friendly but probably wouldnt stay again unless they addressed the parking issues.
Lovely park. Stayed in the RV section. $8 pp/ Pop. You can use all park facilities except power. Great camp kitchen where we ate all our dinners. Lots of work being done in the park. Admin very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Nice and big caravan park, lots of powered and unpowered sites, clean amenities very friendly staff and dog friendly.
Horrible service..Booked in a cabin a month in advanced and advised the staff that we had two cars and two trailers and that we needed a site were we could park them and offered to book two sites as we were driving all the way from Vic and moving house and had all our personal belongings and couldnt risk being stolen. We were told this was a non issue and they had the perfect site we even got a confirmation email stating this was OK.The night before the arrival we rang just to confirm our booking and the parking arrangement as we had a twelve hour drive ahead of us and wanted no issues, when we called we were just met with hositilty and the receptionest denied that we were told this was OK as they dont allow parking even though we have an email stating this in writing.Absolutely unprofessional as we were bassiclly left stranded we ended up booking a much more friendly and professional service.
Much improved since my last visit. New cabins, new camp kitchen, new motel and extensive landscaping. Well kept caravan sites and room to run you dog. Will certainly be visiting again
Friendly, clean, well priced. On the edge of being a little tired, door to the toilet doesnt work easily, however no big deal. Pleasent stay.
We stayed for 2 weeks in studio. The place was tidy and clean. All staff are very friendly. And there is lot of animals during the night.Just be careful of your food.Must put in the drawer otherwise γrats will eat everything.
Wonderful park, we were going to free camp by the botanical gardens then saw a flyer for this place, so glad we did. Took an unpowered site for $8 per person. Made use of great showers and the wifi. Had some of the best squid and chips ever. Filled up with water next day. Will be back when next this way.Cheap gas refill, accessible dump point. Great staff.
This has been the only park we didnt feel safe. There was a lot of transient workers there and a lot of music and noise late into the night. And it wasnt all parties either, it is like no one there had heard of headphones. The bathroom facilities were overwhelmed and as a result not very clean. Our van spot was nice with a big tree, but everything else spoilt it.
The 2 days we spent in the park was so memorable, with the 5 pm sing along with a fire and the fish and chips after was awesome. We felt so welcomed by the people that run the park, only could do with a bit of work on the showers as no place to put your things, but we would definitely return. Good park awesome fun
Reception helpful. Oldish. Needs maintenance. A bit cramped with bigger vans in powered section. Big area for big rigs, but no power or amenities in that area. Popular.Does the job. Not over priced at $30 per night.
We loved the very friendly staff, willing to help in whatever way we needed. Even though the amenities block is getting a facelift, we still had lovely warm showers. Ben is a credit to the park, and always has a lovely smile for you. We loved the fish and chips on our first night, we were too tired to cook, and found the serving very generous and well cooked, by Ben. Thank you to everyone we really enjoyed our stay. ππ
Very friendly, helpful owners & staff. The camp kitchen & laundry are very clean. Also plenty of clothes lines for drying. Nightly entertainment around the camp-fire. Awesome Fish & Chips (the pension packA must. We booked for 1 night & stayed 3.
