Quiet, comfortable and pet friendly - everything we needed for a stopover. Lots of take away places close by. Older style rooms, but clean and spacious. Easy, quick, check in and friendly staff.

Booked a pet friendly room aircon wasnt getting cold so checked filter which was very dirty had to clean under shower not much of a cleaner there.

Comfortable room and pool, wifi etc at a reasonable price.

The room is too small.The wifi never work properly.And the service is very poor

Lovely staff, however the shower drain smelt bad, and the pool is in the managers backyard (weird feeling swimming next to someones back wall windows)

Clean and welcoming, and a lovely young guy on the check-in desk who gave us the most efficient and friendly check-in weve yet had.

Very good for the price this motel is excellent 👍 have stayed at far more expensive motels that were not nearly as good very clean rooms friendly staff we have decided that we will stay there every time we come to emerald for our days off

Booked a pet friendly room for 2 people and a small dog and paid an extra cleaning fee for the dog, which was fine and a valuable service. Room was small and overcrowded with beds(1 Queen and 2 Singles). On arrival the window was open, but outside under the windows are table and chairs shared between the rooms which are setup for the smokers. Our neighbour was there and smoking, so room stunk from the start. The bed linens were good and clean, the tiled floor was not so good and our dog was very interested in a couple of spots 😨. We walked over to Woolies to buy some surface spay and disinfectant wipes to clean the benches and dodgy spots on the floor. The bathroom was very small and the shower was extremely mouldy. The shower needed to be drenched in bleach and scrubbed (unfortunately we only found this after the Woolies trip). We would have left but we arrived late and were too tired to go elsewhere. The extra pet cleaning fee is just a money grab theres the barest minimum level of cleaning, not good enough in COVID times.

My partner and I I doing a road trip through Queensland and we have two dogs ( THE FAMILYand its great to see motels who take your pets they were very easy going check-in was extremely easy as along with the booking and there were many people staying there some overnight some for a couple of days like us and it was very peaceful the cost of the rooms with a pet $140 a night the bathroom the living space was excellent bed was comfortable and clean I would highly recommend this place regards Mark Wilden

The rooms were spacious,extremely clean and was beautiful smelling,we loved our stay there and would highly recommend it

They will take your reservation, and then if you dont pay over the phone at time of booking they will cancel your booking when someone else does. Very unprofessional as I have not used a credit card in years (apple pay). Avoid this type of behaviour.

Comfortable room, although a wee bit crowded. Functional bathroom.General motel facilities are adequate.Good for a short stay.

Very pushy to pay, pays extra for dog but doesn’t mention it when reserving booking. Reasonably clean however no locks on the inside so young kids are able to open front door.

Reasonably price and very clean and you can order Chinese food at the reception and its delivered to your room

The manager was lovely upon arriving and gave us all the information we needed about staying, however the rooms were small and we were met with the strong smell of sewage once we entered. The food was amazing how.ever and served fresh, but if you plan on staying make sure you pack some towels and perhaps some glen 20.

Looks cheaply modern, not a big fan of the complete floor being tiles would get cold, service from staff nice... Would I felt better paying $85

Rooms are small, but comfortable bed and inexpensive. Biggest issue was no inside locks

Wasnt the worse but deffenetly not the best rooms were really bare the microwave was about 5m away from a power point and everything else was either really old or non existent wasnt able to use the free wi-fi as they wouldnt give us the password and there was no cable tv as advertised. Unless I was arriving late and literally only planning to sleeping and leave straight away and it was the cheapest option i would never stay again

Needed an overnight stay for two adults and three kids. Beds were clean an comfortable. Hotel is back off from the highway so we werent impacted by noise at all. The owners had put the aircon on for us before we arrived, which was very thoughtful considering it was 40°C+ that week. The room was very basic without cutlery, however, there was a small fridge with milk for us. The bathroom had a hair drier. The unit was tiled on the floor and clean. Youngest child did trip on a step and cry... only once though. We didnt have time to use the pool, but, it looked clean and presentable.

Rooms were ok but very rude manager/owner. Never again.

Close to everything, owners are lovely. Family room is basic but comfortable. Feel there should be a toaster and crockery, we only had two mugs and 4 glasses and there was 6 of us. Was good for a one night stop over.

Excellent accommodation and the owners very friendly and very helpful with no doubt I will stay there again I fully recommend it

Had a good nights sleep. Very clean Motel. Close to Maccas, kfc, red rooster & the Maraboon Tavern where the meals are great. Hospital straight across the road from Motel. Not much to do for kids at the Motel itself other than the swimming pool but good location for skatepark etc. Motel proprietor are a lovely husband and wife team. Thank you both, we enjoyed our stay.

Not happy about it ... but you live and learn ... 6 bed apartment off the back of the house you could here the owners inside ... 3 cups and 3 mugs 6 ppl ?

Clean room, friendly staff and within walking distance of a pleasant tavern for meals.
