Embassy as LaVista had always been a family favorite for us. One of our kids even had their wedding & reception here & everything was awesome. Always great service, friendly staff, plus the breakfast & evening reception makes for a perfect stay. Even their room service & dining area serves great food with friendly staff who accommodate special needs. We highly recommend Embassy Suites!!
My family had several rooms to celebrate my dads birthday & it was great! A shuttle with a fun driver was able to take us to go eat so we didnt have to worry about driving. Breakfast was awesome, although staff couldve been friendlier. Our rooms were in great shape with nothing broken or appearing worn out. The pool was great for the kids & the adults loved being able to watch the game on TV at the bar!
The breakfast was excellent and the gentleman making omelets was amazing to watch as he made.many different orders.Inwas asked about the service. One morning I did not get a wake up call and Saturday morning after getting up I tried three times to get the desk but no one answered. I left a message on the text I received about not being happy and wanted room service. I was told I would be getting contacted but it did not happen and no one came to at least take the trash out. For the prices they charge the service should be excellent not mediocre.
The hotel is nice and the free breakfast in the morning is great but i have two main complaints.1They have a water softener and it seems like it’s on overdrive. When you’re in the shower it feels like you’re washing soap off of you before you even use the soap. You just have to trust that after 20 minutes of rinsing the soap is off of you.2This is becoming more common in hotels now, they will only clean your room after the forth day you’ve been there. If you want to have it cleaned then you have to give them a days advance notice. They says it’s to respect my privacy and not disturb me but we all know it saves them money, other hotels let me schedule when I want the room cleaned so like every other day is good.
I am a bit biased but the room was perfect for me. The hotel staff Allen and Parker were quick to respond to request and get back to me when using my app to make request. Since I was there one night I didnt get to enjoy their breakfast as I had to leave before it opened I will definitely choose this clean and friendly place.
Breakfast was great but that was it. Our room was not cleaned well at all. I had to vacuum the day we arrived. There was so much dust on everything. I wiped down the lamps and counters. You could tell they did a quick clean and that was it. Carpets need shampooed. Sticky stuff over one wall. Couch was old. Wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be back.
This hotel was sold out for an event I was attending there. I inquired at the desk about cancellations and BOOM! Got a room. Emily, front desk manager, was awesome throughout the stay and after. Yes, I’m a Hilton Honors member, but her kindness and professionalism made our stay so much easier than if we stayed at a nearby Hilton property. And, she loved my dog!!
The rooms are spacious and clean. Their customer service is top notch and the complimentary breakfast is made to order with plenty of options. My family will definitely be back again.
Staying at this Embassy Suites was an interesting experience. The day before my arrival, I was asked to pick a room and say what time it would be available. I have done this many times as a Hilton Honor member, therefore I was expecting this to be without any issues.Upon arrival the next day, I was told that my room was not ready at 4pm. And they would call me later when the room was available. However, we got a call later saying that they are booked out and there are no king room availble. It would have been more believable if the hotel parking was not only ~25% full. On top of this experience, my in-laws room had no working air conditioning. As we are at the front desk wondering how this was possible.... they claim "oh..someone JUST cancelled and we now have a king room". This was a little odd to add to the list. However, my in-laws with he broken a/c? Oh... they had no problems finding them another room with a king bed. Was the A/C working on this lovely 95+ degree weather? No.We tried to talk to the supervisor and managers etc.. some cared, others did try to help, but, some did not care at all. they responded by offering us individual fans and refused to compensate us at another hotel with working a/c. So what happened? It sounds like the a/c has been broken for a week or two prior to this visit, but whoever in charge did not want to fix it. Also, this hotel is nowhere near booked to capacity, it was more like 30%. Their solution was to cool the a/c vents with water instead of paying a professional to fix it and/or to replace the one of the units. After hearing this, my in-laws was able to get in contact with someone very high up in Embassy to give them an update on what is going on. Whether it is a coincidence or not, but the next morning, the a/c was fixed and working properly. Not sure if the giant semi truck parked in the back had anything to do with this event or not.Overall, the rooms feel old, but they were clean. Floor was a little damp which may or may not be in relation to their temporarily solution to "fixing" the a/c for the past two weeks. There are a lot of nice and friendly employees especially the bartenders, but there several condescending and rude ones working here.Would I be back in the future? It is very iffy based on this experience.
I have stayed at this property a number of times and sometimes it is great and sometimes average (or worse). This hotel is just odd compared to other Embassy Suites and Hilton properties. There is a lack of consistency. It is a nice property that seems to be fairly well cared for. The staff are generally helpful but the front desk is very hit or miss. They also started charging for parking. Perhaps they felt this was necessary but it seems tacky in this area. My company pays for the parking fee but if it was just me I would either chance it or park at Cabelas after unloading my luggage. Maybe I am just cheap.
Horrible. I am a Diamond member and have had excellent stays with other Embassy Suites around the country and this was the worst. Masking tape on the turnstile door was a horrible welcome. Stains on the carpet. Dusty furniture and appliances. This particular weekend they had a rambunctious youth sports team they couldn’t/wouldn’t control to the detriment of the other guests. When I called the front desk, they acknowledged the rowdy unsupervised children/teens but informed me “curfew” wasn’t until 11pm. Even the bartender appeared frustrated as he excused himself, leaned across us, and sternly asked the kids to stop running barefoot and shirtless through the area. It was just a horrible experience. They need to maintain the same standards regardless of their clientele. I paid for a hotel, not a weekend at Chuck E. Cheese. If adult guests behaved in this manner—yelling from one level up to another level in front of other people’s doors—security would have intervened; why permit boys to takeover an entire hotel and pretend their actions are acceptable? What a horrible experience. After driving 20 hours, this is not what I expect.
Run Down and Dirty. Duct tape holding front door together. Hotel and room was unvacuumed. Trash left outside rooms for multiple days. No maid service for 4 days even after requesting. Hotel is in middle of nowhere and there is a hidden $10/day parking fee. Hilton awards member... Stay away. Worst stay ever.
Want to stay at a clean decent hotel and you end up with less than par room that wasnt even the room you chose when booking. Cleanliness was sub par, floor was dirty bathroom was sticky and room had bad oder, soap in bathroom was leftover from prior guest. Room had old decor, warn out furniture and carpet also had a barely working closet door. This definitely ruined us from ever wanting to come back to Embassy Suits.
Do not stay at this hotel. They charge you $10.00 a night to park a block away. Their food was absolutely disgusting so dont stay here for the breakfast, unless you want to break for the restroom fast.We stayed 2 nights, paid for our visit at the end of the stay and they held over $450.00 out of our bank account plus the 475.00 for the stay and have yet to return the money 4 days later. With the prices of gas this could definitely leave a family stranded with no way home if they are vacationing on a budget. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!
It’s been 10 years since I last stayed here, what a difference COVID made. Although the staff has been extremely kind and the breakfast exceptional, the hotel itself, especially the rooms and hallways, need a deep clean. I do not know why hotels that allow pets have carpeted flooring. The carpet in our room is disgusting, I will not walk barefoot. We are loyal Hilton customers and we are finding that the newer properties are using vinyl plank flooring vs carpet. Our room has a musty smell and the hotel must be aware because the room has a air purifier in it, although I’m not sure the filter has ever been changed. The furniture is stained and also smells. I have covered all of it with sheets because I do not want to sit on it. This hotel needs to go floor by floor and deep clean the carpets and furniture. Walk next door to the Courtyard by Marriott and you’ll see and smell the difference. It’s unfortunate because the location is perfect and in an upcoming area with walk ability to restaurants, stores, nail salon and bars. Also convenient to Offutt AFB. I hope if I return again, which I probably won’t, the carpets will be cleaned, hallways vacuumed and the hotel refreshed. When you pay the price you do per night, you expect a bit more.
Staff was friendly, room was extremely musty so we tried opening the window to air it out but it didn’t really help. Room looks nice upon first glance but everything is very old, or banged up. They forget to tell you that parking is $10 to park in a basic lot, and pet fee is $100 plus $20 tax. I travel all the time and have never paid separate tax for my pet. When checking in, I said I have a pet and they said “oh that’s no problem” but neglected to tell me that it would add $120 to my bill. So a $160 stay that I used 14,000 points on turned into a $320+ stay in Nebraska. Please let your guests know ahead of time how much you guys charge for these things, it would have definitely been nice to know.
Good, clean rooms. Note that housekeeping is done upon request. I attended a conference here and they have pretty good size rooms. The restaurant inside is good, but if you want to go to other restaurants, youll need to walk for at least 10 minutes if you dont have a car.
I was very impressed with the room. It was cleaned and it also had a surprised sofa bed in the living room part of the room. I wish they had a microwave. The pool was great. And the amenities available to the customers with outstanding. And I would definitely be a returning customer. From A to Z it was very pleasant and comforting experience. A little on the pricey side but it was worth it! I will return.
