Great venue, loved all the games and the quirky vibe. Pool tables a highlight.Non alcoholic drinks are surprisingly expensive when youre the sober driver though.(In answer to owner, $6 cokes. I guess just compared to the low priced alcoholic drinks, only $10 for a gin and tonic, I thought theyd be lower. My drinking friends loved the reasonably priced alcohol to be fair)

Cool place! Pool tables, 80s video games, darts, a bar and grill. Perfect venue to spend an evening.

I hired Ellice Road for my 21st and had the most amazing night! The staff were amazing, so lovely and accomodating. The venue was fabulous, very spacious. The pool tables, dart boards and table tennis were a hit. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Very cool place, if you have a drink you can play pool, or other games they have there, nice spot.

Went there on Friday the 29th of April 2022. The Indian bar tender is beyond rude. Told me "I dont like your face" when I wanted a drink. Its the second time hes behanved like this and he also mentioned its becuase im Indian. I really hope you can do something about him cause he has not one clue about how to behave in hospitality.

Cheep and mostly cheerful, but a bit run down and needs some serious time and money spent in the place. Disappointing that they ran out of both cider and prosecco very early into the night for a work function

Such a great atmosphere, good drinks and great owners! Free pool, table tennis and darts! One of the best hangout spots in the city!

Attended for a wedding on Saturday night, had a great time! What a fun venue that I never knew was here, would highly recommend it!

Good dive bar, sells crate bottles of Waikato. Never seen a more well used dartboard. Ping pong table could use additional lighting but hell of a place to kill some time and have a drink

The staff member (at 8pm 13/01/21refused my ID. Its a recent license photo and I look exactly the same. Absolutely humiliating in front of my friends and entirely rediculous - this has never happened before, 0/10

Have been going to this bar for years, cheap drinks, nice staff, love the ambiance, awesome chill place to catch up with friends.

Pool tables free to use as long as you are buying food and drinks.Enjoyed the music and good vibes.

A highlight was discovering someone had torn the toilet seat right off in the womens loo at some point so the bar just swapped that to being the mens and took all the toilet paper out. Didnt even bother taking the destroyed seat out of the room.

Ellice Lou.ge is located in the heart of AKL CBD, easy to reach. There are 6 billard tables but sticks are old but drink is cheap, especially no limited of time to play. We always find lots of fun hangout with friends there so you too😉

Cute space but i have never come across staff that so aggressively didnt want to be there. made for awkward hang outs.Maybe they all just had a bad day? But yah know.... do t need to pass it on.

Went to my nephews 21st - average sound system but a good atmosphere. Beers were reasonably priced. Its definitely time to invest in some new pool cues though.

cheap and convivial there are lots of activities (pool, darts, arcade). Good place to do a meetup. Just would ve liked a sofa or more comfortable seats.

Good place with snacks, bar and pool! Has ample space for hosting a party. Quick snacks like pizza and fries are available here. Bar is also good. People can enjoy darts and pool. Is in the heart of Auckland CBD and close to bus stops. No parking available on site. Is located at first floor and is 2 storeyed. Can spend couple of hours here.

Food is a 2, but the atmosphere and vibe around is a good 4.We tried nearly all the pizzas on the menu and felt most of the basic ones were just over killed with cheese. More cheese than base which made it slightly unbearable. Other pizzas were slightly better such as the chilli chicken.Chips are good.In terms of whats good there, you can play pool and darts in a social environment.Would say go for a good time, not a hungry time...

Its a small entrance but the place is quite big. Has pool tables, pinball and darts. Its a really nice place to spend time talking. No loud music. Drinks are affordable and staff is friendly.

It is a very informal place to have a drinks, talk and play with friends. They have pool, dards and other games.

The bar was open for our work place to put on monthly events like quiz nights, stand up comedy nights and sing along the events. Its the prefect place for this or just having a comfortable, warm inviting drink (or two)Bonus. It has pool tables.Staff are super friendly and helpful especially when it came to holding our first event as we equally wanted it to be successful which it was.Of course when the big events are not on, we still make our way down for a friendly one at our new local

Really different venue for central Auckland. A few great beers, quite cheap, huge space with a couple of dart boards and half a dozen (?pool or snooker tables. Tends to be short of a crowd, but no wait to play.Quite hard to find - is upstair a narrow staircase just down the road from the Shakespeare on Albert Street.

Like this place! Cheap drinks and many pool tables. Looking for an old fashioned bar in the CBD area no more cause this is your spot! Good music as well!

Good retro feel bar, with a quirky themed rocknroll/disco/60s - 90s art and props.A nice friendly vibe.. We made this place our work local, excellent happy hour pricing on most drinks - Good customer service,nibbles and bar food available and not sooo packed and squashy azz most places in the city. Live music available with open mic nights and jamming sessions, Freshly carpeted pool tables and darts available to play for FREE.also,pinball machines on site..The only thing that lost this place a star is the broken air conditioning, last couple of visits was like a sauna by the pool tables.. If thats fixed,this place will be 5 stars.

We never stepped foot inside this establishment - didnt have to .... My husband and I were staying in a hotel less than a block away, yet were kept awake by the music being emitted from this building.Not from inside though, instead this place has chosen to play the same eight songs on high rotation at an incredibly loud volume OUTSIDE the venue until the early morning.We were literally forced to purchase decibel lowering ear plugs just to sleep. Incredibly not happy.

Friendly staff, excellent venue, large beer selection, 6 pool tables upstairs, great fries!Foodwise, the Crunchy Chicken was not bad but the rest of the food was very average and just lacked flavour. Jalapeno Poppers were quite disappointing - didnt taste like Jalapeno..

Had a 60th birthday party here on Saturday 29th October.Great place and easily coped with the 60+ people that turnedup. Food was served up over an hour period,excellent home brewed beersand Febe who runs the bar was so good and made it all run well.Will be going there again in the future.

This place is great. Awesome atmosphere. Pool tables, darts, pinball, even old-school board games! Plus great beer on tap and in the fridge. Will definately be back.
