Budapest, Deák Ferenc tér 2, 1052 Hungary, Dunaharaszti
Elizabeth Square - Park and Garden in Dunaharaszti, Hungary
Right place to buy, walk and enjoy
A small park which is good for kids and adults
Nice peaceful park in the center city, which is well-maintained. There’s a skate park and beautiful lawn with statues and fountains. And of course, the Ferris wheel is located here!
very nice place, and very clean wow
Its a very beautiful square with an amazing park and the wheel.
Good little Park, a relief from the traffic. The wheel was good, not as much as the London Eye, but not anywhere near as costly either.
Beautiful night life. The markets down here in the night are beautiful to walk through a lot more reasonable prices than the souvenir shops
Buzzing nightspot in central location. Need wristband or receipt to use the toilet at certain times. Drink service at bar can take a while.
Nice place to chill out! Nifty park with a nice water body and an amazing environment!
Historic place, great restaurants, great coffee shops. From the big wheel you see the most part of Budapest.
Visited this place twice during my stay . Once during the day and the last time was at night. The place is really nice. I enjoyed the time that l visited during the day because the view were so clear. At night its fine too but l really didnt like it because they were a lot of people and we spent most of time on a place where they were no views.
Chilled out place. Think I had a nap here Sunday morning under the shade of a tree... To say your in a city its so so peaceful here.
This place is home to the over-priced Ferris Wheel, but the place itself is quite nice. Plenty of benches to sit and grassy areas. Also a Skateboard area, Childrens play area and Football/Basketball court.
You should totally go. If its sunny, you can take a few nice pics from the ferris wheel, see the handicraft fair, and for god sake, try a an ice cream in a kürtőskalács. You can sit and enjoy it on the grass next to the fountain.
One of the most popular squares in Budapest. Many young people gather here to skateboard, hang out and party. There are several statues dotting the park and a big ferris wheel if youre inclined to take the ride. It can get very crowded, especially around rush hour because of the many transportation facilities around it.
Fantastic during a warm summer evening for some store bought beers
Elizabeth Square is centrally located and very near to the main bus station for catching the bus to the airport. You can shred your stick at the skate park, grab a beer at the bar, ride the Ferris wheel, play catch with your dog, visit Michael Jackson, chill on the grass, and so much more. This is only one of the great and publicly accessible parks in Budapest. We visited to leave our Love Locks and then returned to ride the Ferris Wheel at night. What spectacular views to behold. Do yourself a favor and stop by and enjoy this lovely park, we sure did.
Beautiful area with gorgeous architecture
Such beautiful gardens with loads of photo opportunities.Would have loved to go on the Ferris wheel but the weather was really hot to be inside a plastic booth. One thing to note is that you cannot ride scooters in the park so we had to leave them at the entrance. Either way I recommend visiting here.
Very nice square to enjoy and very central to visit the rest of the city and especially Pest.
Best public place downtown to hangout with a friend. Beautiful sights, lots of shops nearby. Alcohol induced locals and tourists interacting in the most amazing way. Soothing police presence from time to time. This square is 0-24 busy. One of the must-see places for a newcomer
Ferris wheel - skip it, kinda meh (views from fishermans bastion or the castle are way better). Bazilika - cool during the day. Drinking venues and little booths - meh and expensive. Sitting on the grass, grabbing a drink from a nearby supermarket/pub and talking to locals after 8pm - freaking perfect.
Great park in the centre of Budapest. Green grass and access to the Budapest Eye 🎡 great place to hang out and ppl watch in summer as well as a meeting point for ppl to catch up and drink. With access to historical moments, bars, toilets and skatepark it is a cool place to chill out and watch the world go by. The park is within walking distance to most of the historical attractions as well the Danube and basilica.
Good and nice place to have a nice and sunny day.
Nice, relaxing place in the middle of the city where you can refresh yourself with the small arifical lake, have a picnic on the grass or have some food and beverages in the many bars and restaurants around.
Best place in the city to relax after strolling through the city
Very charmin during weekends.. happy place
Lovely place for a walk and chill, good bars and restaurants and the market is very interesting, lots of different stuff.. Christmas decoration is beautiful
The view from the top was very nice. 10 euros for around 5 minutes. It was about 4 -5 rounds and it stayed longer for one roundIt was nice in general
Great park for walks.. shopping district near by .. cafe and ice-cream place, the Budapest Eye in the middle if the park which was a great ride, weather in the daylight or night time both are amazing views and an enjoyable ride...
Stunning park underneath the wheel. .loads of shops all around with plenty shops to buy memory goods. Prices are not bad euro or huf ... loads of tourism around and it is safe to walk with the kids or family. . Didnt go on the wheel so unfortunately dont know the price of it but all the walk to it and to the park around it was lovely.
Good view point in budapest. Small Price. 5-10 minutes turn roll.
Lovely area to go hang out, shop, eat and just live. Not a whole ton to do in the park itself unless there’s a large event, but the side shops are still nice for tourists and the place is always popping with locals. People are nice, it’s safe, and it’s clean. Would recommend on a cool afternoon!
Very good place with little markets around and nice place where to sit on perfect cut grass near pool. Sometimes there are many people So you cant find place for sitting, but the hole place is lovely
it is the most attraction place in Budapest. should try on the wheel. but not too high.
Great Ferris wheel or by name the Budapest Eye. Four circle and it’s finished the tour. Otherwise it offer a great Panorama of Budapest. You can see all the sights of the city in a panoramic view from Danubian ships to Buda Castle and the temple towers of Pest. The main sightseeing is Szent István basilica, which is pro eminent and very beautiful with their magnificent towers. The Hungarian best parliament can f the world also can be seen. The price is around 10€/ person for adults and children lowered and costs 5€. The wheel is on Erzsébet square close to the Deák Ferenc square.
Wonderful place in the very middle of Budapest with a very photogenic ferris wheel
Very nice large square with gardens fountains and plenty to do. Starting point for the free walking tours which are excellent.
Erzsébet Square (Erzsébet téris the largest green area in Budapests inner city. The square was named after Elisabeth, Sisi, wife of Habsburg Emperor Franz Joseph, in 1858. In Budapests varied history, Erzsébet tér was first renamed to Stalin in 1946 and to then to Engels in 1953, only to get its original name back in 1990.The squares main attraction is the Danubius Fountain, located in the middle of the square, symbolizing Hungarys rivers. The fountain, built in 1880, originally stood on Kálvin tér. When Kálvin tér was rebuilt after WWII the fountain was relocated to Erzsébet tér.
A nice park with Budapest eye located in it..its a descent place to sit down and relax or take a tour with the Budapest Eye to see the city from above..also there is a souvenir market just next to it where you can find nice crafts..
A nice sized square, a few restaurants and souvenirs little stores in it. It’s really green (at least in springwith a fountain and the Budapest eye which I think it’s kind of expensive (€9)
Can imagine in the summer months, this would be a perfect place to hang out! Unfortunately for me today it was very wet and chilly! Will have to come back another time!
Very nice place. Its one of the best places in Europe.
Budapest eye was absolutely amazing, great views of the city and reasonably pruced compared to other big cities with the same feature. The square itself has a good atmosphere about it and is a trendy place to be. Easy to get to and only a five minute walk from the Dabube river, lots of shops nearby so youre not tied to whats in the immediate vacinity.
Its a nice place in the city centre, That large wheel is stupid but maybe someone will enjoy it
Nice place but not very clean.
Very impressive. By the Danube and the Shoe memorial.
The Budapest Eye provides a nice view over Budapest. The food stands are really good, well worth a visit.
Lovely square/park housing the Budapest Eye and an impressive statue/fountain as well as a small market of street food, crafts and souvenirs.
A centerl hub with many things going on all the time, worthy to take a detour from the main Street and venture into the park, there are coffee shops and other places to sit and relax, but mostly its a place where locals come to sit and hang out. Great vibe and atmosphere.
