Really good all round hotel. Cozy feel and I found the staff super helpful.

Spent 1 night in the suite and it was very nice! Gym and breakfast both excellent!Location is also a big bonus.

Wonderful hotel, and breakfast is too notch. Need to make dinner reservations in advance due to Friday/Saturday traffic at the Bishop Arms. No room service, so they set us up in the hotel lobby.

Fine and charming hotel. Breakfast is rich and super quality. Location is great and rooms are comfortable. Clean aswell. But I wish you a smooth stay because if you need help the staff is kind but quite useless. They didnt want to register us with passports so they didnt have a clue who was there. Id rather stay in a less fancy place where people know who they have and how to help them

The Elite Stadshotel is my favourite while visiting Lulea in Sweden. Even though the hotel is not perfect, it is large and old property, so it may have some excuses. The location is perfect, as you are just few steps away from the main central area with shops and cafeterias/restaurants. Also very near to the harbour area with beautiful views to the bay. The service has always been friendly and professional and the large breakfast room is exceptional (so beautiful space and also breakfast selection is good). We have staid in different types of rooms and I would say that this is sometimes a gamble. There are lots of different shapes and sizes of the rooms and sometimes you get a better one and sometimes not. But overall rooms are clean and functional. Looking forward to visit Elite Standshotel again! :)

Great Breakfast and cosy environment. Some kind of engine war running throught the day, which was not particularly loud, but it was annoying a bit when having the windows open during the night. We had a room with a window to the courtyard. Besides that the staff was very friendly.

Really comfortable and new hotel, the rooms are up to date and prices are really reasonable.

Lovely hotel with a gorgeous restaurant and pub attached, the parking arrangement is expensive and not suitable for large SUV. Hotel is clean and tidy.

The rooms are in need of renovation and not cleaned well. Beds are terrible, old and sunken down with squeaky springs. Grout coming off the tiles in bathroom.Breakfast was good.

Location is great but rooms urgently need renovation and cleanliness is medicocre. Thanks to the reaction time of the "magnet stripe card system" (probably introduced in the 80syou spend plenty of time in front of main door, inside the elevator and in the hallway in front of your room.

Absolutely diabolical,the attitude from one of the members.of staff was extremely rude.I came out of the toilet hefore checkig out and i could.see the employee with his index finger rammed in to.his.Left nostril searching high and low for what i belive were sweedish nuggets of.some.sort.seen him take it.ojt.slowly with a look of amazement of what he had caught, it was not a nugget but a large potato.The member of staff was called Ingrid (the nostril Butcheradams

We had an excellent stay! We were welcomed with a warm and genuine smile. The rooms were very well lit, aerated and clean, with a modern contemporary design. We decided to take the stairs down to go to breakfast instead of the lift and my boyfriend jokingly took my hand as if I were Belle from Beauty And The Beast. When we walked into the breakfast hall I was sure I had been transported back to the French-Renaissance and that we were indeed about to have breakfast in a castle as kings and queens. The breakfast buffet is definitely the best I have seen in all of Sweden’s hotels, catering for every need for vegans, vegetarians, lactose intolerant and gluten free options. All the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. We needed extra towels and they were very happy to bring them up for us. Thank you so much for making us feel like royalty, we would definitely return to this hotel.

Big and clean room, breakfast ok and plentiful. Close to the city centre with a nice view from the room to waterfront.

The building is very well furnished and kept considering it was built in 1903. All the classy features have been kept whilst there are subtle upgrades in contemporary style. The bedrooms are well kept and spacious with views around the town of Lulea. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. Brilliant hotel.

Very nice and authentic hotel, a great location with 1 minute to down town - yes its located in the middle of down town :- rooms are small but cozy , no AC but I didnt need - who look for AC in winter at Sweden - but I assume will be an issue maybe at summer , restaurant has a great buffet and very well decorated; feels like Opera house , Lulea is great town of you intending to see the northern light.

Great, very beuatiful interior in the messhall etc. Nice views from the rooms. Breakfast was good but cheep juice takes down the overall experience of it.Staff was great

Nice hotel in very fancy setting. Breakfast was served in old main hall which was made for very unique breakfast experience.

We have been here for a skating event. Everything in the hotel has a high quality standard. The room was comfortable and the food during breakfast great.As the event is annual I will book next year again with elite Stadshotellet. Yes the price is high and as in every hotel over the globe: the bed lights didn’t provide an usb charging connection for my stuff. 😉

A good hotel in the middle of the city. Breakfast buffet is good with some local flavor. The gym was under renovation during my visit, but at least there is one. Its an historical building and that is reflected in the rooms. High ceilings in all rooms. Unfortunately the soundproofing between rooms are not good, could hear my neighbors iPhone alarm in the morning. But other than that small issue on my part the rooms are comfortable with a great bathtub. The beds are on the soft side, but on so much that it would affect my sleep.

Great location, just a few steps away from all the shopping malls. Great customer service and the rooms are clean and quiet. Nice views, too. Beds look uncomfortable but are very comfortable to sleep in and they allow you to swap pillows until you find one that you can sleep soundly with. Overall, I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Luleå.

Lovely rooms, great location to the city centre and to bus stops. Showers in bathroom were a little low on pressure and the breakfast buffet could have done with some more options.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful area with everything you need and many restaurants nearby. The rooms were nicely laid out and have tub/shower, and the staff was extremely helpful and very kind.

Great hotel, with fantastic rooms and a lovely breakfast. Well place don the end of the main street with the best pub in lulea adjoined. The bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious and more than clean. The showers were perfect, powerful and everything was spotless, my only gripe was the lack of an iron in the room, however there is a full laundry room with iron and board on the top floor. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is first class, its worth trying the waffles and compote with cream.

The hotel is charming and comfortable. Staff is welcoming and helpful. The place lights up at night with a grand building profile.

Very nice hotel in the city center, with private parking available for a fee. Excellent breakfast offered in a beautiful historic salon. Rooms are clean and service is very good.

Nice hotel in the center of Luleå. Our room was big and was well maintained. The staff was nice and helpful in every way.

High class hotel, bedsheets were soft and smooth, bed was very comfy. Nice combination of classy & modern interior. Cleanliness was tiptop. Breakfast hall was 👌🏻 so was thw breakfast.

Stayed for two nights. Conveniently located in the city centre, with good connections. Clean and comfortable room, nice breakfast buffet and impressive lobby and staircase. No restaurant but adjoining pub (Bishops arms). The room has a bathtub. The use of the shower is a bit fiddly and obtuse.

Great location. Your in the center of shopping, restaurants and more. Clean small rooms. But all u need is in them. Great staff. Shower is a bit tricky. One can easily slip out and fall while exiting. Toilette is too close to wall for a comfortable use. Nice gym. But dont get caught after hours looking around and you might end up having to go outside and around the building to get back into hotel rooms. Tomorrow i will expand on the "free" breakfast.

Really nice and historic hotel. The breakfast was good. The great Hall is beautiful but really bad acoustics. So the breakfast was LOUD

I stayed in this hotel when i was for work in Lulea. The hotel is beautyful to see. The rooms are not too big but enough space. Small bathroom. Breakfast is very good. Next door is the bishop arms pub. You can walk through a corridor from the hotel. No need for a jacket. The pub has amounts of differents beer and whiskey. Nice food as well. A must go when you r in lulea.

Room was very nice and hotel amenities were as well. Did not like the setup for overnight parking in the garage - was really confusing to find the garage and know what I needed my room key for access-wise. Plus, getting to the garage involved walking in the back alley by the hotel, and kind of a long distance. Other than that, the hotel was great if you didnt drive there yourself.

Good hotel in city center. Beds were good and breakfast was great, despite we had the early simple breakfast. Friendly staff. Hotel could use an update on some points.

Our first room had water leaking in the bathroom. Our replacement room was tiny and couldnt fit everyone. While checking out the third room a guest walked in asking what we were doing in his room. Our forth room was a bit bigger than our first. There was also alot of issues with keycards. They didnt tell us the sauna was being renovated while booking. Also, only the first and forth room had bathtubs. The breakfast was good and I slept well during the night.

Clean, small but good and central to everything. Free wi-fi and breakfast. Small but comfortable beds. Good water pressure.

Good old fashioned and historic hotel. Professional service and attached pub with good food. Try the craft beer, burger and mussels.

Its a nice hotel, but the room(s?dont deserve 4 stars - at least ours. very small and too warm - the TV is small too (too small for the distance of the bed). furniture is nice, but a little used here and there. but it is very very clean and well kept. the bathroom is very small too and the bathtub is plastic. a thin plastic shower curtain doesnt belong in a 4 star hotel in my book, small selection of towels, not slippers and no dressing gowns. the staff is very friendly

Breakfast is good and the premises are clean as they should (except for the stairs: I found some abandoned cigarette packs in some dark corners. This is first and foremost a customers politeness issue, but still). The room is ok but I would have expected it to be a tad bit bigger. Last time Ive been there (I think it was room 126there was a disgusting, swampy smell coming up from the bath tub.

A bit overpriced, but nice hotel in an old building. Good breakfast included. Near to everything in the city. Tourist parking outdoors 20kr/week or in hotel garage over 100kr/day.

This is only about the breakfast / brunch: one of the best options in town - including most of everything youd expect to have at a great Swedish breakfast or brunch buffet. However, a really good espresso would not hurt :)
