Come on!! It’s 2022!! We don’t ride elephants, we don’t go to shows, that’s so horrible for those animals. If people still going to pay for this, this will keep on going!! Please stop riding the elephants and learn from the good elephant sanctuaries.

OMG, what did they do? Before Covid it was a nice place. Now it is an high commercial thing. Before free, now only Farang have to pay 300 Baht for the entrance. For this you get one drink free but if you order this free drink, they ask you to leave the coffee and dont allow you to go inside. Unbelievable. . Before the monkeys were able to stay free at the small island in front of the coffee shop. Now the are sitting in dirty cages.. Realy bad. In summary, its not worth it.

Should ride elephant more than 30 minutes. After riding, watch a show drinking a cup of tea or coconut juice.

A good place for half day hangout 🙂 Elephant ride is cheaper and the elephant takes us into a small pond ☺️ It is a good experience. There is a 30 minute dance show. A small zoo with deer, sheep and ostrich.

They literally torture elephants. Go to an ethical sanctuary instead.

A very bad experience and rude staff. You need to buy water bottle for everyone who enters Cafe otherwise you cannot share a bottle of water or smoothie. A 50 cl water for 39 Baht is a rip off. Avoid at all costs. An elephant ride is 800 Baht for 15 min ride. Another rip off.Additionally, you cannot enter many areas without buying from Cafe? Thats ridiculous.

Amazing place, free entry and really nice staff the animals looks happy for most of them, we dont ride éléphants because we dont really appreciate that but we still understand the thai culture/business about it, but every others activities is so entertaining and the Christmas show was AWESOME with santa claus, Avatar, king lion and many more !!! I will be back there for sure ! Just keep this place like how it is and we will come back 100%, big thanks for the elephant village team for this journey it will stay in our memory forever.

Nice place to visit if u like elephants and want to get close. There is a nice cafe where u can view elephants and drink coffee but its totally packed in weekends. Elephant rides are also available and there is no entrance fee but you are encouraged to donate some money to help the elephants.

A nicely run organization. Plenty of photo opportunities with a nice variety of animals in the mini zoo. The cafe has a nice view of the pond where elephants trek through and occasionally stop to visit to patrons on the lower deck!

Nice little place, animals seems well taken care of, polite staff. Paid 300 for entrance with access to the show. Nice show with a mix of Thai and international music and dance. Some animals were Incorporated into the show as well. Well worth a visit. (I read some reviews here talking down the place, but i had no negative experiences during my visit)

My wife and I had so much fun we didnt want to leave. We did the elephant ride and lunch. The elephant ride was bumpy but amazing and definitely a once in a lifetime experience we will never forget. We also loved feeding the elephants and watching the elephant show. I was also supprised at how good the chicken at lunch was. This experience was the highlight of our trip.

Great experience. For 1600THB per person we got a really long Elephant ride, the show, fresh fruit, a land rover ride (not great, just gets you between places), and a silk "factory" visit. We were also able to walk around their collection of animals including meerkats and monkeys. Got to hold and take a photo with a baby gibbon.Just be warned that each section of the tour expected a tip or some other way to get you to spend money.

A very pleasant and friendly man (apparently the ownerat the ticket box, gave us a price for a hour and half elephant ride and vehicle trek. The elephant ride was ok, but the trek in the land rover was a total waste of time, driving around a few roads, with nothing to see and the (beaten upvehicle broke down halfway around. Stopped off at a building, where they try to sell silk scarves.Arrived back at the park for free ( yes freecoffee and fruit, which was surprising as everyone seems to want money, especially if you want a photo taken with the dancers at the end of the show. One of the elephants had a chain around its leg, and didn’t seem happy, which was a little disturbing. Not a bad place on the whole but I’m sure there are better ones to visit

I liked this place but I never rode any elephants 🐘. I call it animal cruelty. Got to feed them and staff helped with some photos. 300 BHT to walk around inside. 100 BHT for Banana. I even met a 59 years old elephant. One elephant was literally dancing to the music and picked me up. He was well trained. You can take pictures with snake and monkey and they charge you 100 BHT for that. It was a baby monkey 🐒. Taxi fare are around 350 BHT to here from walking streets and 100-150 BHT for motorcycle 🏍 depends on your negotiating skills.

This is NOT the similarly-named Pattaya Elephant Sanctuary. The cheapest tour Elephant Village offers is B1600. This includes a 90 minute elephant feeding and ride, a ride in a 50+ year old Jeep, a visit to a local silk producer (cheapest silk product is B300 here), and a meal of fresh local fruit. A Thai dance show and the mini-zoo (which has monkeys, a tortoise, squirrels, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, a baby gibbon, iguanas, and local bird speciesis included in every tour. Expect to tip minimum B100 for the elephant ride. The Elephant Village is disjointed thematically. Elephant Village tries to attract the same crowd that is interested in Pattaya nightlife and cheap Thai adventure. Thus, they offer a Thai dance show, ATV riding, and a buffet. Ecotourism it is not.The focus should be on the animals. If someone is going out of their way to the Elephant Village, its because they want to see animals. Drop the ATV and Thai dance--no ones coming to a zoo to see those. A great deal of the elephant ride took place on the local streets, which is not very interesting, and riding an elephant is quite unhealthy for the great beast anyway. I would say drop the elephant riding; the elephant feeding and hugging is good enough. This is cheaper and less time-consuming than the Elephant Sanctuary. That is its critical advantage: you can get close to elephants and other local animals without spending upwards of B2500 and 6+ hours of your time. However, this park needs a major makeover. My favorite part was interacting with the baby gibbon, and that alone was worth the whole trip for me.

They clearly chain all elephants so they can not Rome free. Then they charge a premium price to get in. At every attraction they ask and demand tips for everything. To touch an elephant, take a picture, it is all extra. Nothing is included in there $75.00 entry fee

Im giving it 1 star for the elephant that I rode and not for the rider. Be prepaid that even when you have paid 1600baht to go to the elephant village and you get to ride the elephants the guy still wants a tip and when I gave him 20baht as thats all I had on me he push it back and said no give 100baht. He wasnt happy at all when I said thats all I had, he couldnt wait for me to get off the elephant. Also once the dancing show is over they ask if you would like to take photos with your own camera and then wont leave you alone until you pay them 100baht. Would I go here again or recommend it. NOPE!

The Elephant Village in Pattaya is a safe sanctuary for those elephants where they can live as close to their natural habitat as possible. It offers you a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend time close to this magnificent creation of nature. Visiting this place is a must thing to do in Pattaya. The sanctuary inhabits and cares for former working elephants which are ill or suffering injuries. This is a great opportunity for you to do your part in saving and caring for these elephants. It is a non-profit sanctuary and the fee that is paid by you goes to improve and provide facilities to these elephants. You can watch the training show and go for elephant trekking in this unique sanctuary.Location: The Elephant village is located 7km off Sukhumvit.Timing: Elephant show starts at 2:30 PM.Price: Price for Elephant Show is 500 baht per person. Price for elephant trek is 2000 baht per person.

The cultural show and seeing the other animals was nice. Especially the meerkats. It is a little sad to realize the tools that are used to train an elephant. To some it seems cruel. Historically, the tools were used to train elephants to help advance mankind. I enjoyed learning about the rubber trees. It was an informative and educational experience.

MUST READ THIS IN FULL. Let me first say Im from US, so my review might only be useful to those with similar line of thought. I read reviews on this place before deciding to go, all mixed reviews, but I am going to set the record straight......It cost 2600 baht per person for the combination trekking, which, at the time seemed reasonable, seeing as though I never rode an elephant before nor been so up close with them and a few birds, guinea pigs, ducks, and a few others I didnt recognize. Because I arrived a little early, they let us wander around the facilities and we came upon 2 small monkeys in a cage, and a boy immediately walks up, takes a monkey from the small cage and says picture 100 baht, I politely decline, but little did I know that was just the beginning. This is very important.....the combination trekking advertises the following agenda: 1. Hour ride on elephant. A little bumpy, but it was as advertised, along the way, someone was taking video and someone took a pic. At the end, the driver/elephant poker asked for a tip, where Im from, in a service industry you dont ask for tips, doesnt matter which country. Im not going to tell you what I wanted to say if someone in US asked for a tip, but wanting to be friendly, I offered 20 baht (not much of a tip, but dont forget the price tag to enter, and the fact that a tip was requested, his response was, "no, 100 baht", really, since when do we get to turn down a tip and and request more? I hope many others complain about this and write a poor review, because this actually killed the experience immediately for me. 2. Silk house was interesting, 3. Jungle walk was a bike path through some foliage, nothing to see here folks. 4. Ox ride, bumpy, but was able to see how they poop and swat flies away with their tales. This guy didnt ask for tip, but, he sure waited for one to be given. 5. Raft ride was peaceful, there must literally be thousands of catfish in the mud lake (new nicknamethat the guide was feeding, and they came to the surface like Piranha once food hits the water. These guys didnt ask for tips, but there was a tip jar, surprise, surprise. And they watch you to see if you put a tip in the box.....very uncomfortable how the hole tip thing works there. 6. Dinner, we had upset stomachs from a meal the night before, so we passed on the meal, however, 7. Welcome Thai show never happened. 8. Upon departure, they will want 200 baht for a still photo, or 1000 baht for a video, and if you decline, they will appear not happy........so I suggest, when you buy the tickets, or upon arrival, you specify no video, so they dont waste their time and yours trying to convince you at the end. If you are OK with that, cool. You have been informed. Overall cost for riding and elephant, which is not very pleasant after 15 minutes, a Ox cart ride for 20 min, a picture, a 20 min raft ride, all tips, 6000 baht, which includes a 100 baht for a bag of bananas to feed the elephants.

We got our elephant treck through our hotel rep so we figured it would be a pretty decent one, wrong! We paid 1000 baht per person which I know isnt a great amount of money However this place is only after one thing, baht! Upon entry there is an option to buy bananas to feed the elephants, at a cost of 100baht which I would recommend you get if you decided to visit this place. From there you get rushed through the mini zoo, If you would call it that. At no point would they allow you to stop and take photos etc. Upon entering where the elephants are there was a guy with some snakes which I was interested in looking at only to be rushed on and told I could see them at the end! There was no time for looking around at the other elephants or anything it was literally straight on its back and then youre off! The 1st 15mins of the "treck"is on main roads with very little scenery. You then go around a pretty nice lake which takes you to the end of the elephant ride, takes about 40-45 mins which is the perfect amount. At this point we got off to which the man said I had to "tip"the driver , why I dont know so i had a spare 20 baht that i gave him, again I know this isnt a lot but he practicality laughed and turned his noes up at it. At this point you get to feed the elephant which was great I must say. However the man did say that the elephant was up set that i never tipped him 100baht which really annoyed me. You then get taken to lake which again you have to pay to feed the fish, to which the guy told me if they dont get feed enough they eat the baby chicks around the edges. Lovely right? Then its time to get in the land rover to which they guy the told me I should to tip the driver! Again with the tip situation! He took us to the silk factory which is basically a load of scarfs that look like any others but said they were made there and priced at 300baht. 3× what they would be anywhere else. We got taken to the food hall where we were told several times that we only could have fruit, Which is fine as thats all we paid for but they wouldnt even let us have a drink of coffe or water! After one person said we could the other said we couldnt! So we sat to eat our fruit and within 5mins literllay he was back over telling us to finish up, repeatedly. To then be chucked on the bus and taken back to the hotel. I realise that this is a step by step of everything but in conclusion the staff werent interested in anything but your money I for one wouldnt recommend this to anyone! Find somewhere else!

Nice program and at good price, make sure you join for the theatre show. One problem in this place aa every poorly paid staff they ask you for tip without doing an extra service. There is elephant ride and theres a snake to hold and take pictures with, there are monkeys and other animals. At the stop of the elephants you can feed them bananas, touch and play with them, then theres a fish feedimg area, some duck and geese etc., then you continue walking to some gazelle cage followed by an old 4x4 ride (mind your head). The ride will stop at the silk production farm where you can see the life cycle of the worm, there are worms and there stuff of course and theres an old lady pretending shes sewing silk.

A wonderful place to visit, allowing you to rode elephants, see them perform a show, and have a nice meal. The elephants all appeared to be very cared for, and were such beautiful animals. All the staff were enthusiastic, treated the elephants well, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Riding the elephants is a must, and my wife even had a ride bareback, which was certainly unique. A great place to visit, the highlight of our holiday!

I was completely amazed at this place.500 baht entrance covers the cultural and elephant shows.Huge area and loads of further development going on when I visited. There are lots of elevated covered walkways to negotiate over most of the grounds with lots of rest and refreshment areas with cheap prices. The shows are amazing apart from all the picture taking, unfortunately Chinese visitors think nothing of walking right in front of you to take photos, blocking others view. The elephant enclosure is right at the entrance and you can take rides around by elephant or train (100bt). Bananas are 40bt bunch to feed elephants but beware as they remember their tricks to mug you for the full bunch which is very funny. This was the highlight of my Thailand visit so far.
