Best experience of my life! Indeed, this elephant sanctuary is very ethical and the elephants are very happy and well cared for. 🐘💚 Smiley and Kevin are the best!!

Thought this was going to be a tourist trap. We were wrong. Unfortunately the sanctuary was fully booked but squeezed us in to one of the smaller sessions. We had the most amazing time feeding the elephants and even got to cuddle one of them. All the elephants here are rescued from circuses or elephant riding attractions. The oldest, aged 77 and youngest just 14. It is so good to see people started to realise these animals are intelligent beings with feelings and complex emotions.

An amazing experience! Hannah was a brilliant guide, very enthusiastic and full of information. We fed 5 of the elephants but you can shower and walk them at different prices, would recommend booking in advance so that you can choose what you want to do as we just turned up and it was only feeding available, highly recommended!

A wonderful experience getting to feed and know more about the elephants.Hanna our guide was so friendly and happy to answer all our questions.This is a no ride experience, the elephants are rescued from the logging and circus industry and brought to the sanctuary to be cared for.We would have loved to have stayed the full day!

What a fantastic place this is, totally ethical and all about the elephants, we visited today as a family of 5 which included a 8 year old. I must say that i did not think that it would be for me personally, but i really enjoyed it, lots of useful information about the elephants on a personal level as well as in general. Would highly recomend, this place needs people to continue their good work in supporting the welfare of ill treated elephants.

A fantastic ethical experience. It is very nice to hear the history of this place and how its helped home elephants which have come to the end of their working lives.

What an amazing (halfday - I cannot recommend this place enough!We did the morning half-day adventure, and were not disappointed at all. We had a fabulous time with our lovely guides, the elephants caretakers, and of course the elephants!100000% would go back in an instant. Its not the sort of experience you forget. The elephants were happy, we were happy, win win!

Awesome ethical experience. The best experience in Phuket to date and the best elephant experience we have had. Great team at this ethical sanctuary. Absolutely unforgettable experience... Our guides, the incredibly charismatic Mr Chow (sorry if its misspelled), Smile, the Photo Guy and all the animal handlers were phenomenal. They are clearly very knowledgeable about their elephants and care for them deeply. We did the half day, morning, and while at first glance it might seem expensive, compared to what you get, its an absolute bargain. Education, food prep, elephant mud bath followed by swim/rinse and shower, and a cooking lesson. If youre considering it, stop right now and just do it. You wont regret it!

Amazing experience. It was only me and my wife and one other couple. Pricier than some other tours Ive seen but this one lets you feed and bathe with the elephants whereas some others only let you feed them. The buffet lunch was awesome. We got a free tote bag at the end. Definitely recommend the elephant jungle sanctuary.

This place is absolutely wonderful.You can tell the staff really look after and take care of the rescued elephants.They educate and talk about elephants to you.You get to feed, scrub and bath elephants.The staff also cook nice Thai food for you as well.I highly recommend this place because the elephants here are protected, well looked after and NOT FOR RIDING!

We decided to go with the half day visit in the afternoon. A great experience where you develop a fondness for each and every elephant and their unique personalities. A very well organised visit! 🐘

Such a wonderful experience. Totally worth it! Before coming I was really worried about how they treat the elephants at this type of places but since I came in I just felt totally relieved. They have so much love and respect for the elephants and it shows. Everything depends on the elephants and not at any moment they are obligated to do something, most of times we were just around them. Letting them be. What made the whole experience even better, Kevin and Thunder were such amazing hosts, they were very informative and funny as well. Last but not least, caretakers and kitchen staff also great.There’s also a photographer (handsome boythat takes photos of everyone while doing the activities. Spectacular experience! Your expectations will be greatly exceeded. Starting with an introduction and explanation of differences between African and Asian elephants, then time to feed the elephants up close and personal. Then it gets interesting, you give the elephants a mud bath, and then go swimming with the elephants to scub off the mud. Unbelievable pictures. The bonus is a delicious meal including freshly cut fruit. Surprise... a parting gift too.

OMG we had the best day at this Elephant sanctuary. The whole tour cannot be faulted. The tour guides are amazing, funny, engaging, caring and highly informative. The feeding, mud scrubbing and washing the elephants was the best fun, we could have swum with them all day.The cooking course and food quality was great whilst watching the photo slideshow of the day.All-in-all we will do this every time we return to Thailand. It was amazing!! The elephants are treaded very good and the guides know what they say! They can tell you a lot about every single elefant and want to have the best for them! I really recommend the tour, its a great experience

Totally amazing immersive experience in the jungle with elephants. Kevin our guide was fantastic very knowledgeable and quite funny as well 😁. These guys need all the help they can get. Do visit and give the elephants a mud bath and shower its great fun and a generous lunch is provided.

What an amazing experience with worlds most peaceful creatures. They are gorgeous. Elephant Jungle Sanctionary has many elephants, all saved from circusses and cruel treatment. They live their best lives in this beautiful jungle, being looked after by the most caring staff members. The staff were all so funny and made the day so memorable. They were very informative too. We started the day by feeding the elephants bananas. They were already eating beforehands since they eat around 200kg of food a day! Then since these elephants were elderly, they had to have supplements (all natural rice ballswhich we fed to them. This was followed by a mud bath which they absolutely love because it protects their skin from insects etc. Once we covered them in mud, we had a swim together in the lake. These beautiful babies absolutely love water and they were rolling around in it. This was followed by a shower with the elephants, and a pad thai dinner for us which was very tasty!Basically, you will not find a sanctuary more humane than elephant jungle sanctuary. These elephants spend their days eating, having a mud bath, swim and shower.Our tour guides Teddy and Enny were great! Apologies if I am spelling their name incorrectly! Thanks to all the staff at the sanctuary for taking care of these beautiful creatures and for making our day very special. I came to this sanctuary all the way from England, and I will never forget them ❤

Visited for the hour of feeding the elephants - it was a very relaxing experience just being in the presence of such incredible animals. The staff were knowledgeable and really seemed to care for the elephants. It is sad to see that many of the elephants were scarred or blind from their time in the logging and riding industries - hopefully sanctuaries like this become the norm over time (and eventually wont be needed at all).

A very nice place to visit. The elephants are retired from farm land and logging area. Good to see that they have plenty of space and food and they all look healthy and happy. Kids are enjoying feeding them water melon

As a large group of 26 this amazing elephant sanctuary was a highlight in our Thailand trip. The staff could not have been more helpful and professional, the food buffet was beyond what we expected and of course the elephants were adorable. Many of us fell in love and had such a connection with these gentle giants. Don’t hesitate to support this amazing place, spend your money in the gift shop and if possible to donate to a wonderful cause. Thanks to the entire team.

This is an elephant sanctuary, you dont ride them, you feed them, you bathe them, you respect and care for them, and you know theyre being treated well. One of the best experience ever. The elephants are so big yet such gentle animals. You could see the love around them and how happy they were! Riding the elephants was not allowed, which I think is the best thing ever. All of the elephants were rescued with such a sad history. We loved every part of it, feeding them, playing with mud, washing them, showering with them. I would highly recomment this experience to anyone that wants to see these beautiful animals. The staff were amazing people, always smiling and giving us information, and taking pictures with us. Overall it was a very positive experience and would love to come again.

What an amazing place. This really is a sanctuary. They tell you about the elephants they have rescued, you feed them and wash them. The hosts were excellent and very amusing, love Mr Chang and the food was lovely. Best day of our trip and our children didnt want to leave. You wont ever want to go to an elephant show after visiting this place. Elephants are free to roam and seem very happy there. Would highly recommend.

I would recommend try the more interactive activities rather than just feed me. Feed me is just an an hour with elephant including upclosed pictures, feeding and some interaction. A bit pricey but I think its worth it.

If you’re looking for an elephant sanctuary that actually care and look after elephants, look no further. We visited this place 2 days in a row. First day we were a bit late and couldn’t wash the elephants but we fed them and it was absolutely beautiful so we booked to wash the elephants the next day. We got to feed them, had a mud bath with them and then showered with them. After that we had a cooking tutorial by Teddy, we ate beautiful Thai food and our host Uncle Chow, big shout out to Uncle Chow!!!!! He made us laugh and he is very passionate about the elephants, all the staff really care about the well-being of their beautiful elephants who were all rescued from abuse. It’s also good they don’t let you ride the elephants, emphasising that they genuinely care. Would definitely come back, Uncle Chow and Teddy are the best!!!!!!

The best place to get up close and personal with elephants. Its a wonderful experience. Tasty buffet lunch (we did the afternoon trip). Picked us up and dropped us off. Staff is very friendly and funny. I was nervous about getting in the water but you MUST!!

Amazing ethical no ride sanctuary, our guide spoke English, had a great deal of knowledge and knew so much about the elephants.If you want to feed, wash and learn about these rescued lovely huge animals this is the best place to do it in Phuket.There is a cafe on site also.

Amazing experience!! SAY NO TO RIDING! This sanctuary takes care of elephants that come from circus, entertainment events and riding “adventures”. You’ll feed, shower and observe them in a peaceful retirement life. Have in mind that domestic elephants cannot survive in the wilderness and some of them are old enough, they need care every day! So perfect ETHIC way to meet and be with the elephants! Staff is really nice and elephants are just adorable!

First off, a huge thank you to our awesome guide for keeping our group well informed, and keeping a watchful eye so none of us got stepped on. She really made the experience enjoyable.Now onto the elephants! Keep in mind a lot of the elephants are older than you, so respect your elders.We opted for the Feed and Shower program which ran for an hour and a half, but is filled with great interaction time with the elephants depending on the group size. The elephants themselves looked like they were thriving, and greatly cared for.

Wonderful place for a lot of rescued elephants! Everything was perfect, we had plenty of time to interact with the elephants and to take photos. We spent a lot of time bathing with them as well. They are wonderful animals and very nice with people, including small children. The staff were amazing as well.I left with a big smile on my face!Everything was perfect, there were small gifts at the end of our visit. They offer card payments and hotel transfers, which is very convenient.Recommend!

Very nice place when you want to learn something about elephants The keepers take cery good care of older elephants which they saved from circus or other attractions. We paid for the one hour of feeding and I think it was enough to enjoy some time with elephants and feed them.

Must do in phuket!Once in a lifetime experience, with these beautiful animals. The team is super nice, they take good care of the elephants, you can see that they love them.You can feed the elephants, walk with them in the jungle, and take a mud spa and shower with them, its a day you will never forget.They take super pictures from you.We got souveniers too, and the thai lunch was very delicious.They take you from the hotel in the morning and back in the afternoon.

This … this is the most amazing and the most experience i ever had in my life!Energy, love, and care on one place and on so high level. This is incredible. Those people there are angels.How they treat those animals? Just wow!!!!I am honored i was welcomed there!Please support this organization because you will be recovered after day with them. Just spent the morning feeding and bathing the most beautiful elephants. They are all rescued from the logging or entertainment industries and you can tell how much they are loved and respected. Seeing the elephants looked after so well made for an incredible day and memories my family and I will never forget.

Highly recommended! 💪We did the half day program where we got to feed the beautiful - cute - amazing elephant, and gave them a mud bath 😅Getting dirty in the mud was great fun, but later when we got to the clean pool it was even more fun because the elephants relaxed and sat down so we were able to get much closer to them ^_^Feeding them was also a lot of fun, but the mud bath was even better since we were able to really give some love and pampering these beautiful creatures deserve ^_^Also I have to point out that our guide Chan was a lot of fun too! Very funny but also very informative in answering all our questions… 🙏🙏🙏

Most amazing experience in Thailand! We booked the full day package and i want to tell you that its worthing all the money!! We started our day feeding 3-4 elefants with our bare hands, then walked 2 elephants for around 2hours in the Jungle and watched them. Then we made some special supliment balls and fed them again. After that we played in the mud and and then in the shower. I can tell you that these elefants are good looking, they take very good care of them! Coming to see the Sanctuary just helps them to rescue more, it s nothing like circus or business you are not allowed to ride!I want to say special thanks to Mr Choo!!! Best guide ever, good english, very funny, he took us like hundreds of amazing photos also!

We took the afternoon tour. A really amazing experience. The stuff is amazing, everyone is so KIND!! There is a photographer that makes photos for free and also the kindly stuff always suggest to picture you on your phone.Its really seems that they take great care of the amazing elephants.RECOMMENDED!

Just had one of the most spectacular experiences at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary! We did the afternoon tour which included feeding the elephants, mud bathing with the elephants, showering them, and free photography with the elephants! Lots of time to be interactive with them as well. There were about 16 elephants in the sanctuary. The staff were great, friendly, and fun! Would definitely recommend.

We spend a very nice afternoon here. The elephants were so nice to be around and feed them. Mud bath was also great and full of laughs.Also the caregivers really love their works and it made the whole experience even more pleasant.5/5

Had an incredible time on the half day morning trip. We got to interact with the elephants, feed them, wash them, cover them in mud and learn about them. There are no chains on the elephants and they are not hit so use your common sense when they are moving (dont get too close, they are huge)Our tour leaders were really insightful and helpful. I learnt a lot about the elephants and how they are trying to help. It was sad when we learnt that the dancing elephants were doing it not because they were happy doing a dance, but because they were so used to having to dance when people came to see them.Really glad I chose this company to see the elephants. Would highly reccomend, also incredibly accommodating with diary requirements when it comes to the lunch. I had a lovely tofu dish.

Have done wonderful half day tour and no doubt these oasis is highly worthwhile visiting and recommended making your day count in any way, one step closer to those beautiful elephants by feeding, touching, bathing and playing with them to get to know.Thankfully to all of staffs there who build up this place to become a safe house, take an extra care of them and create an possible connection between animals and people. From the very beginning to the end, I really enjoyed all the ventures, great presentation of elephant species, behaviors, most importantly we show our love and care to them.

We visited as a family in August and had a great time, the kids were a bit intimidated by the elephants at first, but soon became relaxed with these gentle giants. The elephants seem very happy and well looked after, the large camp area set in the hills at Kahtu has plenty of space.The highlights were hand feeding the elephants with pineapple chunks and then scrubbing them down in the shower. Then, the best part, the elephant bathing and covering them in a fresh coat of sticky mud!The staff were great, they treat the elephants with respect and took good care of us. Highly recommend! 😁

Loved meeting the elephants and learning more about them. Its amazing how elephants have the capacity to trust humans again after years of being mistreated. We did the feed and shower program but would love to do the walk with the elephants program if we could, just to see how they forage and their natural behaviors when sourcing for food.
