Elbow Room in West Pensacola

This is my favorite place for pizza and and a beer. Fantastic gormet toppings to order, on smaller size, thin crust. Know that the lighting level is low enough that youll need your phone or flashlight to read the menu or to play table top games. It would be nice if they had some additional spot lighting customers could turn on or off as they see need.

Its like stepping back in time... Beautiful place courteous staff.

Always a great time at TER. 🖤 The vibe, the staff, the patrons... My favorite bar in town hands down. The "Champoppy" is my go to cocktail and the grilled ham and cheese sando is bangin.

I had the Enterprise sandwich and husband and son had a works pizza. The food was fresh and well prepared. The server was great and she wrapped up the leftovers in the shape of a swan, which was a nice touch. This is a Pensacola classic, but I dont suggest bringing young children. There are many adult things here. I do like the board games and retro video games.

Came here for my birthday and had a great night! Staff are so nice and considerate, and the food was so good. Great pizza, make sure to get the bacon dip as an app. Really cool atmosphere with lots of board games and geek memorabilia. Definitely going to become a regular hangout.

Mostly star Trek themed with awesome cocktails and bar food. Boardgames everywhere. This is my ideal bar. I wish I could move this exact bar to where I live

They clearly dont want you to eat with your eyes. The food must look horrible. The red lights and dark room is not a good business move when selling food. Who wants to eat in the dark?!

Really cool vibe. Staff laid back and friendly but still caters to each guest. Interesting things to play with and look at. Feels like a time warp back to your 20s at your best friends garage that they turned into a homemade hangout/lounge... an 80s version of Cheers, Red lights just like that tabu district over in Amsterdam, sci-fi, and a whole bunch of late 70s-80s Era games to enjoy or recollect upon. Would be a great place for a first date if you are into this kind of thing

Very friendly staff and a fun atmosphere. Best place to sit and relax with tasty comfort foods and enjoyable drinks. First time there but it felt like a place where you fit in and belong. My best friend and I said we are going to make this our number one spot to go for now on!!!! Thanks to the staff at the Elbow room for a great time!!

Had an amazing time here with friends. Lots of card and board games to choose from as well as pinball machines around the place. The food is just as good. I had the meatball sub and the Hersey pie slice. Both prepped and served professionally by their kind servers.

Legendary pensacola chill spot. Dont be fooled by the location or outside appearance. Solo or with friends this place is always a good time. Ive never once seen anything crazy or met anyone mean at this place. Good humans gather at elbow room. Thank goodness for this oasis in a desert of dude-bro sports bars.

Always a great place to just chill and relax. They have the best pretzel around. Youll enjoy some good food and fun games here.

Really enjoyed the pizza. Came here around opening (4pmwhich was pretty empty but seems like it’s more of a late evening/night spot. Enjoyed using the pinball machines and playing card games while waiting for our food. Really neat to look at the decorative pieces on the wall, especially all the Star Trek and Dolly Parton items!

This place was absolutely fantastic. The pizza was amazing. The DJ playing upbeat ska, reggae, and soul music was phenomenal. I’ll be back!

Quirky, family friendly bar with affordable pizzas and more. Nowhere in Pensacola has more character! Lots of board games, sweet staff, and interesting decor makes it easy to spend several hours just hanging out.

Love the atmosphere and the vegan and vegetarian food is bomb. Decent priced. Also love their fun and extensive craft beer selection. This is a pretty tight space so can be hit or miss on how crowded it gets and how well you can social distance. There are a few separate areas in the building though so it is possible to spread out.

The food here is amazing! Lisa is amazing. There are delicious vegan/vegetarian options... the vibe is exactly what you want in a genuine retro dive bar... the new outside seating area is perfection. Bring all your love and share it with this hidden gem.

Im glad to see people in the pictures. Ive had their pizza 🍕 and it is definitely delicious but I never really seen a lot of patrons. Would love to see this place pick up more business.

Great food, great service. Local owned and run pub with a strong locals feel. Visitors are welcome. We usually get their pizza and a Narragansett. Soups are also quite good. Retro feel with a Juke box and 1960s-70s memorabilia.

Local fav hidden gem. I love going to this place because there is guaranteed good beer, good tunes, fun games, and delicious grub. I absolutely love their pizza. It’s super simple but the whole garlic makes it magical if requested. The staff is friendly and fun. This is just an intimate spot for locals to enjoy without a big downtown crowd vibe.

I wish the jukebox worked but it is a great place to relax and enjoy a cold beverage. I love the board games, dart board and the memorabilia. The cardboard cutouts of Captain Kirk and Spock are a plus! The service was good. The food was a bit slow coming out and it is hard to believe that it was not a Tombstone pizza. It is cozy and welcoming. It is clean and comfortable. I love that families are welcome and not shunned. They do not care for vulgar language or visibly intoxicated patrons. Its a great place!!!

This was my second time here. I love this place & decided to take my daughter here for dinner. We had the bacon cheese dip with pita bread wedges $7.50 plus ordered a 12" pepperoni & cheese 🍕 pizza $12 The food is amazingly good!! Cheap prices & great atmosphere!! We played "Shut The Box" game. To us its fun & addicting!! Once, back to back we both shut all the numbers down. I guess we were lucky. This place has all kinds of board games plus arcade games. I would definitely recommend this place. Theyre open Tuesday thru Saturday 4pm -2am. The staff is very friendly & checked on us a lot. This is my new favorite place & cant wait to try a different menu item.

Great laid back atmosphere with a long bar and plenty of tables. Theres an old school jukebox or records playing. Lots of board games to play with. Inside is all decked out with old schlitz signs and trek memorabilia. Beer and wine prices are reasonable. The food is good. The pizza crust is thin, like a freezer pizza, but you can load it up with toppings. Theres a board for daily specials and delicious desserts. Not recommended for children.

Vintage retro decor, great red light atmosphere, wide assortment of beers, fantastic food, affordable prices. The only negative is that the parking lot is a mine field of pot holes. So negotiate the "mines" and have a great time indoors.

Elbow Room makes me happier than happy; vegan options galore. If you have clever vegan ideas to manipulate their actual menu, theyre always willing to try something and accommodate. For example, we requested their vegan meatballs on a pizza even though theyre technically for a sandwich, and they had no problem doing it for us. Pic attached. Elbow Room forever. 🖤

The best bar. Follow the rules. Theyre why its been immaculately preserved for forty years. I challenge you to find cleaner restrooms in a bar, let alone an old school dive. Great food. Great prices. Vegan options. Friendly staff. Otherworldly.

Hands down one of my favorite places in Pensacola. The atmosphere cant be beat. The staff is always quick and friendly. You cant beat their jukebox. Theres not another joint in Pensacola with such killer ambiance. I have yet to figure out which champagne cocktail is my favorite. I suggest just trying them all. You wont be disappointed. The desserts change and I havent had a bad one yet. Phread & Lesa have really kept the bar going in a way that Jim would be proud of. Highly recommend. Great date night or game night with friends.

Funky little bar with a throwback atmosphere. Board games, jukebox with eclectic choices, friendly owner and staff and great pizza and salads. Beer and wine only. It doesnt look like much on the outside but its a cool unique place.

This place has tasty food, a great beer selection, and the best jukebox in town. Its also family friendly with board games, a high chair, and a changing table in the rest room. The owner is a sweet, charming woman, and she makes the most amazing soup.

A darkly beautiful place out of David Lynchs dreams that would be fitting as a bar in Twin Peaks. I travel full time and not many places ooze instant warmth and comfort like this place. The decor is friendly, but for darker souls like myself, in the red bathed light everything takes on a warm occult vibe. The old style playlist is eclectic, all through speakers intentionally distorted with the treble low and bass high to fit the mood. As someone obsessed with change, I look forward to at some point in the distant future sitting down in this same seat, and I hope nothings changed. Its beautiful as it is.

Not just the best bar in Pensacola, perhaps one of the best bars on earth (and most definitely my favorite). Dreamy and welcoming with a perfectly curated jukebox, delicious food, and friendly staff- I couldnt ask for more in a bar. Love love love this place.

This bar has the most character out of any bar in Pensacola that I can think of. The strange red lighting, nerdy memorabilia, board games, and terrific menu choices make for a unique experience. And everyone that Ive ever talked to that works there is very friendly and helpful.

By far, one of my favorite places in Pensacola. Never been to another place like it, so its definitely a place to see and experience while in the area. Havent had anything on the menu I didnt like, though my favorite is the probably the Enterprise Sandwich (many of the menu items are Star Trek themed). If youre looking for a different slice of Pensacolas nightlife, order a pizza, one of the many beers they have on menu, and pick out a board game!

Flew into to town because my six year old daughter was hospitalized on vacation down here with family. After two rough days at the hospital, I am so grateful to have found this hidden gem. Great beer, excellent pizza, incredibly friendly staff. The Star Trek decor and boardgames made me feel at home, and the chill 50s and 60s tunes coming out of the old school juke box just clenched it. This is my favorite place... ever. (And my daughter is recovering nicely, thank you!)
