El Tinkal in Montevideo

Muy buena atención por parte de las mozas es lo que redondea la puntuación hacia arriba.Linda ubicación frente a la rambla.Carta acotada pero correcta.La relación precio calidad es elevada, la comida es acorde pero con poco condimentos y precios elevados para lo que ofrece.La hamburguesa tinkal está muy bien en comparación a la oferta de chivito.Me sorprendió para mal q un chivito para 2 completo cueste 1100 y tengas q pagar a parte un condimento básico como la cebolla, morrón, aceitunas, etc ($60 cada uno !!!)...si es completo trae todo y más...creo que en escatimar con eso le resta puntos a lo q es un clásico...no volvería salvo a comer esa hamburguesa que si estaba rica y me pareció acordé el precio con lo ofrecido( casera con papas a $470)

5 stars for having the best Chivito Ive tried.Its a chivito that, get this, you can actually eat without a fork and knife.Like a real sandwich.Its what all chivitos should aspire to be and actually elevates the sandwich to a competitive level.

Demoraron mucho en atendernos pero después de pedir la comida llegó rápido a la mesa. Comí chivito Tinkal, muy rico pero me resulta caro para el tamaño del plato y que no incluye acompañamiento. No fue mala experiencia pero no iría de nuevo.

Muy amables, la comida muy rica.Quito dos estrellas por el tipo de platos en el q sirven la comida y el no poner individuales.Precios similares a la competencia. Volvería a visitarlos.La vista a la rambla es hermosa

Pedí Napolitana de pollo y estaba súper rica y enorme. No la pude terminar.Fui al medio día entre semana, estaba bastante concurrido. Precios como en todos lados pero con el plus del sabor.Recomiendo

Its a very convenient bar/restaurant if you need to do some errants close to the US embassy. I like the food but the waitress didnt offer me any dessert and didnt smoke to me at all. Anyways I left him a good tip.

El lugar ésta frente a la rambla con una hermosa vista y muy tranquilo. Probé sus deliciosos chivitos al plato, los recomiendo!! Cabe destacar la atención por parte de sus empleados... Sin dudas volveremos!

Recomiendo fielmente el local, la comida llegó literalmente en 6 minutos, la atención de Adriana fue genial, muy buen sabor de la comida y cocción de la carne, además la vista frente a la rambla le da un gran plus a este local! La comida es de costo medio y se disfruta un buen ambiente al aire libre

Nice to be outside and by the sea... Not so bad with food but not so good either... Great for having some beers and fries with friends maybe.

The chivitos are EXCELLENT! I had the Tinkal chivito AND my husband had the completo. Just absolutely delicious and HUGE! One serving of french fries was perfect for our little family of 4. The kids shared a mozzarella pizza (22cmthat was to die for according to them. (9 and 7 yr.old boysWill definitely be going back!

Okay, well the places has tremendous potential to be on the top of the list for a bar/restaurant/pub, but in the other hand it is not.I found the food to be very average (or minusthe prices expensive and the service okay.The location is very nice, beach front and relaxing after a busy day.My recommendation is go for a drink and enjoy a sunset. Dont expect too much out this place. Better if you go with own fríends.

Small local bar in Montevideo. Staff didnt speak English but we got it worked out. First uruguayn beer. Love the 1 liter size. Had outdoor sitting but was full. Sat inside which was plain but clean. Sandwich was pretty good. Service can be somewhat slow especially if its busy.

Exactly what it aims to be - a dive bar with a grill turning out greasy, finger-licking good sandwiches. Cold beer. A game on TV. What more do you want?

I have eaten here many times and the Chivito Tinkal is my favorite. The view is lovely and the people are friendly.

The chivitos are great, def recommend! Dont get the coffee.....bleh.

Nice place, good wifi. Has patio seating and in close proximity to the ocean.

I had the steak sandwich with ham and bacon. It was OK. A bit expensive for $10. They have live music.
