El Taj Halal - Halal restaurant in Granada, Spain
Great service, slightly small portions of delicious vegetarian foods.
Good delicious foods in Granada, Spain.
Decent food but the hygiene needs some serious improving.
Found this spot in my most recent trip to Granada, my famly and I loved it so much that we webt back the next day. Definitely recommended. Food, staff, service were all excellent
Excellent halal restaurant at the heart of the city centre in Granada! I ordered Harria soup and couscous with lamb and it was absolutely delicious (felt like I was in Morocco all over again). The customer service was exceptional and would highly recommend!
A nice halal restaurant in the centre of Granada. I bought two shawarma and put them in my bag to eat later. But after two hours when I opened the paper which was used for packaging almost melted with heat and humidity of the shawarma. Either they need to use better paper or it must be eaten immediately.
Horrendous service, food and communication. I won’t even start about the sticky tables. Don’t bother when you have so many better options.
Tried their shawarma and i must say taste was amazing highly recommended.
It took more than 1h, they than forgot us, food is bad and really small portions for a huge price
The food is delicious. I had lamb tagine and the it was abundant and tasted really good. Second time I had a chicken tagine. The flavor doesnt disappoint. The downside is that the restaurant needs a little touch like paint and care but while visiting Grenada, I just care to eat good and enough. Five stars on my end.
We literally ate there every single day. Delicious food, big portions and fair prices. Super friendly service as well ♥️Don’t forget dessert (All of themand mint tea 🍵
Delicious food, chill ambiente and friendly service!
Excellent Moroccan and Mediterranean food.Friendly atmosphere. Great prices
Very good limonade. Very good baclava. Must try this restaurant!!!
Overpriced place. Had the seafood paella and we couldnt even eat that as it is too salty with almost no flavour at all. Better go to other places.
For you Muslim brothers and sisters or for you people that just love Good food, this places is your go too spot, amazing decorations, tasty food and nice atmosphere
The food was beautiful, very flavourful and authentic. The restaurant is well decorated and the staff are incredibly nice. 100% would recommend.
We had a great experience here! Loved the food, service, and staff. Highly recommend this place!
Delicious, tasty and friendly service. We had the kabob and the falafel salad... Even came back for lunch the next day it was so good
I enjoyed my tajine and herbal teas immensely! The atmosphere is nice, especially upstairs overlooking the busy street. We returned for another visit and it didn’t disappoint. The service could have been better but overall it was a great experience.
nice food with reasonable price, with great staffshawerma was fantastic
Seriously understaffed. I sat at a table for an hour and the table before me was not cleaned in this time. For a whole hour…The food was decent, but nothing magnificent.
Nice Morocco restaurant , many Moroccan people comes here , Which is mean it’s a nice taste for them, but to be honest , i tried some Moroccan restaurant in Spain, and they was more delicious.. They served a very tasty arabic Tea , Or what they call it Egyptian Tea - Price is fair
I strongly recommend their lamb biryani for those who likes "saucy and juicy" lamb. We have been to several places to try halal lamb biryani but they often too dry (the meat). So we really like it here. Lemonade mint was also very good too. Keep it up!
Mouthwatering, awesome food. We tried the beef biryani, and it was amazing. Service is friendly and prompt. Beautiful traditional decor. Price is reasonable as well. A great place to dine in at Granada.
Please avoid, extortion prices and the food was not nice at all. We tried a few dishes and they were just not edible.
Came from the UK looking for some nice halal food. Biryani was NOT biryani. He gave me rice and chicken curry and told me to mix it myself. The chicken wasn’t even seasoned properly, just added some turmeric so it was yellow. As for the kebab, it was so bland and had to be soaked in sauce to be remotely edible and even then the meal could not be finished!! Only decent thing I ate were the fries and even then it was oily!! Prices were also extortion. Paid €40+ for no seasoning.
Delicious food with good amount for the dish... The place need to be cooled more by adding a/c there.. But nevertheless every thing was perfect and clean with kind staff
Testy food , we ate at this restaurant 4 times during our visit to Granada. We ordered different dishes & snacks and all of them were delicious and well done. The staff is very nice.Highly recommended
The food is NOT good! We waited a long time to get our food. After that the result was not good, to say the least. My husband hasnt finished his plate, just ate a few bites. It was too greasy, absolutely not what you call a tikka masala and chicken biryani!!!
It’s very good middle eastern food, reasonably priced with a nice decor inside. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
I love this restaurant. A large variety of food from simple burgers to elegant tajines of every sort. They have wonderful teas and Moroccan pastries. The atmosphere is calming and relaxed and the people are warm and inviting. Great location in Centro just off Plaza Nueva.
The restaurant had a unique atmosphere and the host was welcoming, however the food and service were not good. I was served very old rice that had a bad smell and was completely inedible, and my husband was served undercooked kabab that could potentially be dangerous. The waiter did not follow up with us after serving the food to inquire if everything was okay. The overall experience was quite disappointing especially considering the cost of the food. I would not recommend eating the food at this restaurant.
Cheap, delicious and good workers. They sell Halal food for cheap price. Place in the center of the city. Recommended!
We had a lovely dinner at El Taj halal, consisting of a nice paella and a mix of chicken and beef doner with chips and salad. The food was really nice and filling, without being pricey, which was quite refreshing in the tourist area. The decoration was really something else. Most importantly though our staff was super friendly and helpful, making this overall a lovely experience. Would definitely recommend if you want to spice it up with trying international cuisines and not spend much.
Food is delicious, we ordered lamb kebab, checkin biryani spicy and not spicy both are good.
If you want somewhere to crash out and feed on delicious food after a long day trekking around the Alhambra and Granada then this is the place! Soft comfortable seating and delicious food. The decor is amazing!
Great place for Arabian food. The decor is amazing and the food so delicious. Highly recommended.
Well, the good thing is, they serve halal food in Granada...so, this is very much a welcome for weary and starving muslim travellers. And the price is also not expensive. These are the two plus points...But the restaurant is quite cramped on the the ground floor, and the table arrangements on the 1st floor could be improved further. As for my tastebud, it didnt find the food very agreable. This was seconded by my bowel, which had caused me to visit the wc a few times last night...for a so called arabic restaurant, it didnt reach my expected target...to make it worst, the mint tea tasted exactly like colgate!!
The first restaurant we dined at during our trip to Granada, the staff were extremely friendly especially the female waitress who greeted us with a smile. Ordered the beef burger meal for around 5 euros which quickly became our regular order during our stay 7 day stay in Granada. We also tried the shawarma wraps and chicken burger meal which were decent. Stays open till late and great atmosphere.
We found this in the tourist district. It had great decor, very authentic vibe. The food was very reasonably priced, good portions and delicious.I had asked for lamb, not chicken, but still was not dissatisfied. The next time I will ensure to get the lamb.
If your looking for quality food, excellent customer service or halal food, look no further than El Taj Halal. The service was fast and food was extremely tastey and filling.Whilst those items could be considered pricey, they have affordable western style meals including kebab wraps, hamburgers, chicken nuggets and hot chips. The staff were very accomodating and were able to communicate to us in English. For beverages, I would strongly recommend their in house lemonade or Moroccan Mint tea.
It was very tasty but, touristy prices. It didnt seem like enough food for $14. Maybe stick with the lunch specials and dont order off the regular menu. Very cool ambience.
Very good and tasty restaurant. Marocain speciality. All fresh, home made. Nice and fast service. Very cheap. Located in the center city. Halal and no alcool Recommend it very much
They have very good fruit coktails like his own special Eltaj halal or lemon-mint. Nice place with a lots of people.
A beautiful Moroccan restaurant. Delicious food. I think would be good another waiter upstairs.
Awesome food, generous quantity, but less pricy. Staff are friendly. Most customers are either Muslims looking for halal food or someone with a taste for spicy middle eastern food. The ambience is like that of an eatery, looks great at night. The idea of having a glass floor is brilliant.
A nice place to enjoy eating your meal with very nice staff and very delicious food.
Had a shawarma meal. Food was good, and quantity was pretty generous as the meal was just €5. Had Moroccan mint as well which was pretty nice. Service was good for us though we noticed there was just one person taking orders and making the food so can see why it might take a bit of time when the place gets busier. Decor was pleasant and interior was comfortable
Food was very good and equal for the price you pay. Service is alright but our waiter spoke only Spanish and Arabic so we had some communication barriers. Otherwise I enjoyed the food for reasonable price in the city centre.
