Relaxed establishment offering a menu of Mexican-inspired Japanese sushi rolls & noodles.
Amazing service. Delicious food. Always perfection. Highly recommend.
Food was extremely Bland the sauces they provide on the table did not help maybe we ordered the wrong thing we got California roll and a fried California roll not very good
This is amazing because they serve your food quickly and the food is top tier. ❤️
Everything is good but I noticed a high price increase this last time I went. Dont think its worth that much now. Might not be going anytime soon
Some of the best sushi I have had in a while!!! I love the Mexican inspired sauce on the tables and service is good maybe cause I was the first at the door waiting for them to open, but they were ok. I cant wait to go back next time Im close by.
Wow. Killer place. I was worried because there were not many raw options but the rolls were righteous. Couple Dos Equis to thin the blood and 👌🏻
The food was okay. I went there for the sushi because I usually opt for baked rolls but they were ALL the same. They all had cream cheese, cucumber, avocado and salmon/shrimp. The salmon and shrimp on the rolls were pretty bland
Service was lacking. We had to find the server so we could get refills and napkins.
Party of 6 and they only allowed 1 physical menu per table otherwise there is a QR code you can scan but their menu comes up blurry and the staff knows this. "Weve told management about updating the menu bit they dont listen." Said one of the waiters. The food to me was not worth the price. Friendly staff though but bad management.
Food was really good.
Omg the food is delicious! I go all the way to Downey for the Cucaracha camarones! But specially because the service is amazing! Maudeni makes the best Margaritas!!! Thank you for service!
I´m super greatful for the best waitress i know, thank you Maudeni for your service and i just have to say the food is delicious. Going back soon!
Everything is delicious a must visit when we go to LA area for sure.
Sushi is TERRIBLE. Do not try it. It was the worst sushi I have EVER TASTED. If you guys want bomb sushi. Try El sinalo roll in Compton 👏👏👏 food truck but the BEST SUSHI I HAVE TRIED. This place was so pricey and honestly really not worth the money. First and last time here. TERRIBLE!!!!!
Wait time was long. The rolls are definitely overpriced. We ordered 2 rolls, agua chiles and 1 Michelada..that was 80 dollars for two people. Place is also not that clean either and we had to ask for chopsticks. Needless to say, I was not impressed and wont be going back. Food tasted okay so thats why I gave it 3 stars. Otherwise my rating would be lower.
Always a great experience food is always tasty and my favorite lemonade is A+
Everything was just soooo good! The crunchy roll sushi, Thai noodles, cucaracha shrimp, oyster shots, and some other items that my family ordered were worth it. Every time we are in the area, this will be the spot we will definitely stop at!
I came from Arizona to take out some sushi and seafood. It was delicious but they got cheap with the soy sauce. The soy sauce they give you is such a ridiculously small amount! They told me if I wanted more they would sell 3 for $1. This is the equivalent of getting charged for ketchup packets at Mickey D’s. I’m adding pics.
Read the reviews reviews stopped in to check out and disappointed. Good service and nice presentation but food taste not the best. If youre wanting to eat sushi go somewhere else.
Thai noodles were surprisingly great!Absolutely loved the flavor. I got the mixed version that comes with chicken, beef and shrimp. The sushi was beyond costly!Even the simple crunch/CA roll had an astounding price. I bought some roll called Big "E" special roll and I read through all the ingredients on the menu and was satisfied that it did not have onions listed but when I bit down on a piece a huge onion piece was in my mouth. It was not that great, especially for the price. I was expecting something better for the cost...
I love the food but the customer service is absolutely horrendous. If you’re going to hang up immediately when someone calls with a question it’s better to just not answer and let it ring. This has been a consistent problem.Twice I have had to wait over an hr for a pickup order that stated it was ready for pick up.And twice I’ve received someone else’s order; One time being hours old and disgusting and cold.Their attitude is always rude.I’m honestly not one to even leave reviews or complain to management but unfortunately sometimes there’s a few too many times that this happens and I’ve worked in the industry so I get that they’re short and full housed but never an excuse for poor behavior, you’re running an establishment, staff should at least make it welcoming to guests.Just my recent frustration with this place. Again the food is to die for but maybe for takeout and just prepare two hours in advanced.
I ordered a lemonade and mixed Thai noodles. Although the noodles were good I had to give a 3. I asked a server to please have them warmed because they werent hot. It took around 20mins or so to get them back. That was after I had reminded 2 servers that I was still waiting for my noodles. They had forgotten about them.
Honestly I don’t understand why this place pops out as a good spot to eat. I went and took 7 other people with me to celebrate my lady’s birthday. As you know I spent a lot of money as everything looks good in the menu but the food taste is not what they are selling. The California roll is tasteless. The campechana ahogada had a good presentation but it wasn’t fresh as they say their seafood is. The alcoholic cocktails were not mixed properly some were missing ingredients and some had old ingredients. Not impressed. The waitress only came to check up on us once even when the place was practically empty. However they still charged me a forceful 25 dollars on gratuity. The French fries for were burnt and old. The list keeps going on and on. I don’t recommend this place.
Absolutely loved this place, the sushi was bomb and one of the best ones I’ve ever tried.
The food, drinks, and the service are excellent. The best sushi restaurant in LA.
Great service above and beyond! Dragon rolls are the best!
Basic food , noting to rave about , not worth our time or money to return, everything had cream cheese in the sushi 🤔
We’ve been coming here for the past 4 years never been disappointed. Great food and great customer service. Totally worth every penny.
Wait was not too bad but worth the wait!!! Oh and you know it friendly staff 😍 Food was delicious 😋 🤤🤤
This is our favorite spot we have never had a bad meal here ..
I ordered a tostada de camaron with no shrimp to be found. How does this place have good ratings? I guess since they knew it was take out that I wouldnt complain but this is unacceptable.
This place is legit.. Had some really good oyster shooters. Its a far drive if your staying in downtown LA, but worth it. Service was great, food was outstanding. I was really happy we decided to go eat at El Sushi Loco. We were visitors from Utah and wanted good sushi. Will be going back when we are in the area.
Great food. Though did not know where to park, back of the building was valley only.
great food and service excellent!!! coco loco was delicious
Heard of this place today so came by for dinner. Im a big fan of Green Agua Chili Camarones so I ordered the Tostada Aguachile Verde. Wow, the presentation was amazing. The green sauce with red onions n fresh avacado slices and fresh shrimp was the best I have ever tasted. Also ordered the Ceviche Camaron mini Tostadas n they were very good Definelty going back soon. Parking is a little tight. The restaurant was clean. Service was friendly and prices were fair.
Celebrated a friends birthday!! We ordered a variety of dishes, the seafood was fresh and had amazing taste. The service was friendly and they would check up on us constantly. Would totally host another celebration here
Great place if you want some fusion sushi and Mexican seafood Sinaloa style. Its better than Culichi Town in my opinion. Check out menu pics so you can get an idea of what they serve.
Ive been here twice and the food here is delicious. Prices range from $11-16 on the various rolls, but are so good. The Dynamite roll $16 was smaller than pic on menu but so good. I shared it with my mom and the Ceviche Ahogado $8 too. Both delicious! My dad said his Caldo 7 Mares was great too. Last minute we ordered the Banana Tempura and omg soo good and huge. Perfect ending. I wasnt super hungry, but this was def enough for me. The service is very good, attentive and quick. The place is very clean and atmosphere pleasing. We came on a Wed around 2pm. Pleasantly surprised enough ppl but not busy with a wait time. Bruno Mars music playing in background and soccer game on!
Picture if my appetizers, super delicious and creamy! Added habanero and spicy mayo to it to complete that flavor process. All the food is perfect, very delicious.Be advised, get on the waiting list through Yelp as early as an hour before if you are going in the later hours. It is a popular place to dine, and usually packed. Youll love the food here 🔥💯
To be honest, I was impressed. Super delicious food, clean, great customer service and child friendly. Overall a great experience, I highly recommend.
Very tasty. I enjoyed the sushi plate "El Dragon rojo" while my wife enjoyed tostadas of agua chile rojo and ceviche with chipotle sauce. Table service was ok.
I LOVE this place! For anyone who wants to try delicious authentic Mexican Culiacán style sushi.... THIS is your place! Anything you order is delicious! Be ready to ALWAYS wait about an hour to be seated.
OMG!!!The food was amazing if u are looking for a kick of spice this is the roll to try great verity of flavors that compliment each other its the boly roll I tried the relleno and the classic California I tried there jasmine tea which was also really good alcoholic drinks are amazing as well ...great service are server was Alan and he was amazing I really wish I had one closer to home in San Diego 😊😊
I used to love this place, but bad customer service and poor food quality has ruined that. Their food just gets worse and worse. The last two times I have been here I ordered a Sushi Loco Roll. Both times it felt like the food had been prepared earlier in the day, leaving me with a soggy and mushi roll. The servers claim it was made fresh for my order but I know its not true since Ive had the Sushi Loco roll many times before without the roll being soggy. This time the server just shrugged when I showed him what I meant about the food. Looks like the workers dont care, so Ill take my money elsewhere.
Very good a bit pricy but otherwise delicious I recommend the campechana the coco loco not what I expected 2 stars oyster shots very good overall great place to have a marisquiada
Good place to with friends to have dinner and drinks. The only thing that I didnt like was that they took a long time to seat us down.
Pretty good food but service could improve a bit long before taking your orders.
Great mariscos, fair prices. Sushi needs work. Too much cream cheese, spicy mayo, and imitation crab on EVERY roll. Some all raw rolls would be nice.
This place is amazing !! Must come and try it out if you havent , you wont be disappointed !
Loveeeeed it sooo much, delicious food and drinks!!! We were very very happy woth everything, the fusion of Japanese and Mexican cuisine is genius! Definitely a MUST STOPS when we are in L.A from now on.
