One of the best restaurants, good idea to make reservations before going, the waitstaff is friendly and attentive, the food is delicious

Great food, great service. We really enjoyed it.

I was served a tasteless merluza rissoto, a real disappointment. Both, the rissoto rice and fish were flavorless. Two other friends having lunch with me had better luck with their choices. Not planning to come back any time soon.

Went for an early dinner with my girlfriend after reading some solid reviews and it was everything we expected and more! We had escargot, octopus and oysters for appetizers, each was incredible. For mains we had rabbit and seafood pasta. The rabbit was so tender and juicy, I don’t have it often but that was the best I ever had. Beer was also ice cold which is always a bonus. The staff was super friendly, Ivan was especially great, and ambiance/decor is amazing. We’re thinking of coming back for round 2 before leaving. Must visit if you’re in San Juan!

No service dog are not allowed dine in restaurant! Never seen the restaurant before! I have the physical card to prove my dog is a service dog. They just always said, any animals are not allowed! Not a pet friendly restaurant! The first restaurant I met that service animals are not allowed!

Great restaurant!It falls more into the fine dining seafood restaurant niche. All though seafood is their specialty, they have a varied menu full of options for different tastes.The bar is well sorted and the bartender is a seasond bartender and is superb at his trade.

Completely surprised by how delicious the food here is. Every time I go to Puerto Rico Im always looking for a place that serves no nonsense authentic Puerto Rican food, more importantly to me, Chicharrones de Mero. This place I ran into by accident, I was not even dressed properly, this is a very classy place, but they didnt turn us away. Absolutely delicious.

The place makes good effort to provide social distance by having plastic glass panels between tables. There are hand sanitizer stations at the entrance of the restaurant. The restaurant could introduce digital menu option with QR code. The food is good, although a little pricey for the venue. The waiters were attentive, however it will goo to training them better in customer service. In our case, we were rush to pick up the plates and the check came while still having desert and coffee. The waiter came multiple times asking if we were ready to pay while we were having the coffee and when we asked for sperate checks, we were told that it was not possible.

Love it. Food was delicious and fresh. Service was awesome. They are taking good care to keep social distancing.Ill return, no doubt about it.

I went to El Rodaballo in my Happy Birthdays celebration last January 28 with the closest friends. Was our first visit to this excellent restaurant. Great choice. We asked for red sangria. Very good taste.The food was great and tasty. Two of us asked for casserole of codfish with gandules, Avocado and lettuce salad. Another tries groupers chunks with breadfruit "tostones", other one seafood paella and myself large shrimps ( langostinoswith breadfruit tostones and green salad.All the portions were huge and the prices are fairly.The service was extraordinary. All waiters were attentive and helpful. The birthday cake was accompanied by waiters and they sang happy birthday to me!! One of them (sorry for not asking his namedecorated my plate with a butterfly and my name! I asked Chef José Danilo Gonell if he could take a picture with me because I spent a grateful time there. Thank you!!!

This is my favorite seafood restaurant in the area. It has a great and friendly atmosphere, very confortable and friendly hosts. Great variety in the menu as well.

The food was very delicious and had a great ambiance. We were staying at a nearby Airbnb and decided to walk over. We were a bit under dressed, but the hostess was still really nice. Reservations seem to be necessary to eat here, but since we were just took, they sat us as a small table for two. I didnt take a photo of my husbands dish, but pictured is the pallea. Its a big portion and my husband ended up finishing it. Super tasty and full of seafood. Highly recommend it.

Very noisy, manager/maitre d is boorish and generally unpleasant. Food is good, but not extra special. The ambiance and kitchen were better in the old location

Excellent service! Really good selection of fresh fish and gourmet meals. Fresh rodaballo (halibut), chillo and great filet mignon. Valet parking, bar, appetizers; all the amenities! Remodeled and moved across the street.

Reservations needed, we waited one hour from arrival to plates served. Very attentive staff. Elegant, cozy and clean, could get noicy. Kind of stingy with the bread rolls, nice drinks and tasty food.
