The food was delicious and the service was excellent 👌🏻 We are coming back for sure to try more delicious tapas 😋
Excelente service and absolutely delicious food.
Very nice restaurant! The owner daughter is amazing!!! The food was exquisite and don’t let to ask for tarta vasca desert!!!! Omg!!!!we enjoyed a lot!
Unforgettable night!I took my girlfriend(significant otherfor her to try tapas at Pimentón Spanish Restaurant. The service was awesome, the food was amazing and the decor was very original. I felt like I was back in Spain with family celebrating life or in a family fiesta.I loved everything about the restaurant and would definitely return. We had reservations and were seated right away. We were shortly greeted individually and made to feel welcomed by the owners, Roberto & Veruska. The waiter was very helpful, courteous & attentive even with a full restaurant last Saturday night. He brought us delicious bread almost as soon as we sat down.I ordered a glass of Sangria and it tasted like the one my father used to make with plenty of fruit and a generous portion. The food/tapas was authentic and delicious! My girlfriend was made to feel at home and loved the food as well. I loved the way the restaurant was designed with the decorations. It looked like the restaurants in Spain and the prices were very reasonable/affordable.I absolutely loved the entire experience: excellent service, amazing food and awesome ambience. Roberto & Veruska have created an exceptional experience in authentic Spanish Cuisine. I highly recommend it!
If I could give ZERO stars I would! Recently ate at el pimento and it was probably one of the worst experiences at a restaurant! I dont know what was worse, the food or the service!! The staff needs training and there is a lady by the name of Hilda which has horrible service skills. Let me start by saying that the server took the food and drink order, dropped them off and never came back except to bring the check. Had to get someone elses attention to let them know that the food was bad and even after, they did nothing to accommodate us!! The food is really bad, very very overpriced for the amount of food you get plus there is barely any options for the main course! Stay away from this place!! It went down the hill...
Great tapas.. food very tasty and excellent service.. definitely recommend it and will be back
Visited this cute lil Tapas restaurant with great ambiance and service. Food is delicious we started with the manchego, cantimpalo and Serrano board the Serrano and cantimpalo were fresh and tasty and the Manchego was nice and a mix of creamy and crisp...the French mini rolls were warm and tasty.....I had the Montadito and the whole dish was extremely good and the pork on its own was tastylicious....the fresh salad had a nice touch olives I love olives.....my spouse had the Solomillo the meat was buttery soft and delicious with the Bleucheese sauce a perfect pairing....can wait to go back and taste the Paella.....
Place is,small, cozy and extremely cute. The decoration a bit overwhelming at first glance but then you start annalyzing one by one, the meaning of it, the age it represents, what it represents and is really nice. Love the two walls simulating a mural or masaic. Where i loved the pictures i took with my husband for memory sake. The food was nice, we just had tapas but it was enaough for the two of us who loved the sangria pitcher. The price is a bit high, but on this economy there is not much anyone can do(from the restaurants sides i meanwe had fun, we enjoyed the place and tapas and will definitely be back. I recomend it.
Excellent restaurant. Obsessed with this place! My favorite restaurant, I’ve going there for years through all different owners. I have to say that this is the best owner that El Pimiento has had!!!We love going there!!! Very good tapas of all types. Nice selection of Spanish food. The staff was great and the owner is great!! The establishment is tiny but the space was utilized and every inch was filled with memorabilia from Spain. The owner has made this place a gem in Miami Lakes.
Obsessed with this place! My favorite restaurant, definitely in the top three Ive ever been to! I could eat tapas every day for the rest of my life. This time I ordered pimiento filled with garbanzo, boquerones and solomillo al whiskey it was divine. Cant wait to go back and try something new!
I love it. Excelent!!!!! The tapas was amazing.. 100 % recommended
Ordered the langosta paella for 2 for Fathers Day. It was superb!! The Spanish chef never disappoints. Plenty of seafood and wonderful taste. Best Paella in town. Highly recommend.
Excellent atmosphere, great customer services , the waiters very helpful. The food exceptional. I come back 💯 %
Excellent Tapas !!! Love the place ! Excellent service !!! Just head up on your tip they put a 20% automatic…
Great food, great service and amazing food. The show was also very good. If you are looking for a small, intimate at the same time a family ambient this is the place to go. Highly recommend it. Also very clean.
We had a great dinner at El Pimento the owner Veruska came out an talked to us, she takes a lot of pride in her food. The waiter is a very Centurion we had a great time.Everything is fresh and tasted wonderful. We can highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent restaurant. Very good tapas of all types. Nice selection of Spanish and Argentinian wines.Must go when they have live music. It is a great ambiance.
Have been coming here for years and love it. Great atmosphere and customer service and great food. Keep up the great work.
Initially I just stopped in to get a menu. After being cordially addressed by the owner and another lady at front counter, I looked at the menu and fell in love. The owner actually offered a sample taste of one of their delicacies. Damn, that did it. I just had to order dinner to go. 😋🥰
I had the best experience amazing customer service. Best restaurant i will definitely be coming back. i highly recommend this place , abs the food is so good. The art to the place is so unique , and the bathroom is just beautiful. Ask for roberto you will have a blast
Great hidden gem in the heart of Miami Lakes. Delicious food, great atmosphere (especially on Wednesday with the musical entertainmentand attentive and welcoming staff. Highly recommended for an authentic Tapas experience. Don’t miss the boquerones, the pulpo Al Ajilllo, the the meatballs (albondigas bravas), and the beef tenderloin strips (filetillo con salsa cabrales).
This is a hole in the wall Spanish restaurant with a great vibe. The service is great and so is the food. I recommend the patatas bravas, the tostones con ropa vieja and the tabla de jamón y manchego and of course the croquetas! Our waiter, Abel was friendly and welcoming. On Thursday’s they have live music and a flamenco dancer which is always fun. The owner always comes around and checks in on every table which is very nice.
We went there once and everything was great and excellent, the food, the owner and waiter were so kind (based on this you would have 5 stars, but based on what happened just now, today, here’s the 3 stars and is not a 1 star because of the previous experience). Today the person that is in charge of the sitting and arrangements, treat us POORLY in front of all attendees, because we went with a child and she didn’t know and she didn’t have the space. The point she had may be a valid one, but the way she treated us and talked to us gave her reason away and made us leave, people don’t go any place to be treated that way and have their night ruined, service is everything. Thank you 😊
Love the atmosphere and the food. Nice to come on Wednesday as they have life music. Services was amazing.. would come back every time I can.
Well, I came to this place right before the entire COVID Plandemic and didn’t really make much of it at the time. The food was great and the owner she is very warm and charismatic. The setting is cozy and lovely. Fast forward recently went in and dine again after almost a year and the wife and fell in love with this place. The foods are amazing and the hospitality can’t be beat your treated like family. Since then we eat at least once a week and have even order their lobster paella that was a family hit. It’s a little gem in Miami Lakes for tapas Spanish style and they also have big plates for the larger appetites. A must try you won’t regret it.
Amazing service, great atmosphere, authentic Spanish music, phenomenal food, indoor and outdoor seating.
A Miami Lakes institution, El Pimiento certainly deserves mucho mucho amor. Its tucked away in a shopping center right off Ludlam and near the Palmetto, so it definitely qualifies as a hidden gem!I called my order for dinner, and it was ready at the promised time. Ive also eaten in person and service is top notch. As far as my food, the patatas brava were generous sized, of a good consistency and plenty of deliciously spicy sauce. The kick was perfect, and the sauce was enough to add to my huevos rotos. The serrano had was perfectly salty, and it was served with three eggs and plenty of potatoes. I did have to cut it and mash it myself, though not as artistically as the restaurant staff does. I look forward to those Friday night shows soon!
So glad I decided to tag along with my girlfriend and her dad to this Spanish restaurant. What a cool little place. The staff was great and the owner was super chill, I felt like I was coming over to visit a cousin whom I haven’t seen in a long time. The establishment was tiny but the space was utilized and every inch was filled with memorabilia from Spain.Started with the Cured pork Serrano ham and Manchego cheese. Very savory and I paired it with the Albariño wine. It was the perfect combination, the wine was sweet but not too sweet as other whites I had before. I also had the ham bombones, which were okay. For my entry I had the filet mignon medium rare with a side of steam potatoes and the sweet plantains. I also had the dish with a blue cheese sauce and boy that sauce was something else, it was out this world!! I paired this dish with the 1906 Black Coupage, a dunkle from Spain. This beer was smooth and I could taste chocolate, coffee and licorice all which blended super well.Lastly to finish off I had what is probably the best flan ever.Definitely would recommend this place down in Miami.
One of the best places on earth!!! Really!!! Words wont be enough to tell how wonderful and cozy this place is. I felt teleported to Spain just with the first bite. What a magnificent cucine!!! Staff is amazingly friendly and true. This will be defintely a coming back for us. I strongly recommend this little portion of heaven. Good vibes, great ambient, excellent spanish music...etc, etc, etc....OMG!!!
El Pimiento is a Miami staple with a feel-good vibe and friendly service. The owner, Veruska Chalbaud, greets you with a warm smile and immediately makes you feel like a family member who has just arrived home for the holidays. The festive atmosphere gives way to roars of laughter from the tables around you and everyone always seems to be having a good time. You won’t have to wait long for a glass of sangria and warm bread to whet the appetite as you peruse the menu – everything looks delicious so narrowing the choices can be a challenge. The Chef, a culinary transplant from Burgos, takes great care to ensure the authenticity of the dishes and even as international imports have become more difficult to find during the pandemic, the restaurant insists on serving certain items from Spain for flavors which cannot be replicated. For example, the Boquerones (a must have!are Spanish anchovies marinated in white vinegar and finished with olive oil. These old-world delicacies are perfect on their own or with bread, but either way you’ll need that bread to lap up the last remnants of mouthwatering briny sauce they leave behind on the plate. Other menu items imported from Spain include the Chipirones, squid stuffed with buttery sauce, and the Chistorras, salty Spanish pork sausages that make several proud appearances throughout the menu. It would be difficult to pinpoint one standout dish, but the Jarrete de Cordero Al Vino is in the running. This slow cooked, bone in lamb shank braised in a tempranillo wine reduction is meltingly tender and the lamb falls apart with the touch of a fork. The richness of the meat is balanced by its slightly sweet and deep flavored, herbaceous wine sauce and is served alongside aromatic rice to soak up its juices.I’ve had Spanish food at a number of restaurants in Miami and New York and while many of them are good, El Pimiento’s atmosphere and flavors are the complete transport to your favorite neighborhood restaurant in Burgos. My only criticism is that it’s difficult to leave room for dessert, and you should, because the dessert menu does not disappoint.El Pimiento is a great spot for a dimly lit date, family gathering or celebration. The attention to detail, love for comfort food and interest in the community is what drives the restaurant’s staff to deliver an authentic experience. It’s easy to see why this place has such a loyal following.Favorite dishes: Tortilla española, Huevos Rotos con Chistorra, Caldo Gallego, Tostones con Champis, Patatas Bravas, Boquerones, Chipirones, Croquetas de Bacalao, Piquillos Rellenos de Bacalao, Pulpo al Ajillo, Albóndigas Bravas, Chistorra Brava, Paella con Langosta, Paella Negra, Montaditos de Cerdo, Jarrete de Cordero al Vino, Crema Catalana, Flan de Turron Casero.
The best place to eat Spanish food in Miami Lakes. Excellent and kind people! The good was ready in a perfect time and I was DELICIOUS!!!The music EXCELLENT!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Fully recommend!!! Bravo!!!!
I live in Houston but I travel to Miami every year. The first thing I do when I get to Miami is going to El Pimiento. The ambiance is great, the restaurant is family friendly but what I like the most is the food and the service. 100% recommended.
The best restaurant in Miami. The staff is always ready to help, extremely clean. The atmosphere is lovely and most important the food is both delicious and beautifully presented! Every time I go I feel like at my Tia Maruja’s kitchen in Madrid.
Best Spanish restaurant in Miami. I have been to several but by far this is my favorite. Not only the food but the ambiance is great. Owner Veruska Chalbaud has made this place a gem in Miami Lakes.
To be honest I think this is one of the best kept secrets when it comes to Spanish inspired cuisine. The Staff is funny and friendly. The environment makes you feel like you stepped into a small restaurant in Spain. The food was excellent! One of the best for sure.
Excelent place, the food is super delicious and the customer service is amazing.
Well we got here 20 mins before the kitchen closed and our waiter still sat us. We ordered a few tapas (patatas bravas, garbanzo fritos, chistora riojana, and tostones rellenos). They were all amazing, and were served quickly. The Sangria pitcher is awesome and you can get two full glasses each (X2 people). We ended up ordering another tostones rellenos to go for my son, and when they packed it they even separated the meat from the tostones so they wouldn’t get ruined. What attention to detail. Along with the ambience and desert this little spot is so worth it.d
Delicious and authentic. A hidden gem
This is our date night spot. We love the food, the ambiance and the service. A local jewel.
Great Spanish restaurant located in Miami Lakes. Real good service. I ordered tapas as appetizers. The queso manchego and jamón ibérico board was great. Then I ordered the bacalao with cilantro sauce it was to die for. The wine selection is also good.
I ABSOLUTELY love this place! Every time we set foot in this restaurant were transported to Spain. The food is truly authentic, spanish cusine, the service is impeccable and consistent and the live music and flamenco dancer (pre-covidare quite the attraction. We easily spend 3 hours having dinner and enjoying the live music along with wine. It is truly an exquisite experience. You will also find that the service is amazing and as I said before, consistent. They truly treat us like family! This is a hidden gem in Miami Lakes.
If you visit this restaurant you will never forget it. The food is excellent and authentic! Do not check your watch because this is not the pace here. Be transported to Spain in the US. This means sit back, order lots of tapas, have some wine, repeat. The plates come out individually. This place is enchanting and very quaint. I chose it for Valentine’s day and plan to do so again next year. The live music is a must!
Everything was fantastic and so unexpected as we visited a Cuban place around the corner but moved on. This quaint place had ambience, lively Latino culture and customers, the manager was engaged though we didnt have reservation. As we started off with a Sangria followed by various tapas music started. A trio, (guitar, bongos and singing, from Cuba, Tunisia and Spain, customers sang along too. Great food, service and atmosphere!
I visited this place to have my bday lunch and it was good. The food is very good, flavorful. I ordered some tapas and a main dish. The only thing I dont liked is that they served each tapas at time so I couldnt mix the options and enjoy it all together. But they served a flan that was delicious!!!
Excellent service and even better food, the ambiance is amazing, you think youre in Spain
Wonderful place with the real Spanish ambiance. Excellent live world music on Fridays and Saturdays.
Good wine, excellent food. Spanish tapas at its best
Never Fails, I like trying a new dish everytime I visit and I have yet to dislike a thing! The spot is Spanish and intimate, the chef is fantastic 👌
The ambient, the music and food was amazing. The service great! Highly recommend! It is a little cozy place ( 30 people, I’ll think for couples is more suitable; If you want to do something special, The pimiento is the right place and different, I had a Cordero al vino RECOMMENDED! Tabla pimiento’s Good selection of wines! We’ll be back again. Call ahead to reserve your table
Long story short: amazing. We came here with a group of 8 and had tapas for starters. Ordered the tripes, sardines, sardine bread, octopus and croquetas. All of them amazing, specially the tripes. For main course we ordered the chicken paella and the squid ink black seafood paella. The chicken one was ok, nothing too exciting. If you have to eat paella the only way to do it right is to have it with seafood. The seafood one was absolutely delicious. We ordered 2 bottles of wine and got to listen to live flamenco. All of these for 380 USD. Amazing, will come again.
