El Picoteo del Gallo - Tavern in Cordoba, Spain
Great place to stop off for a good glass of wine and tapas.
Ensaladilla rusa 5* The waiter didn’t know any english, but we didn’t mind. Sangria eas great!
Volveremos
Thoroughly enjoyed this very attractive little bar! Stopped in as the staff were bringing in supplies...the incredibly fun and friendly waiter cheerfully tolerated our pigeon spanish, bringing us excellent snacks, a decent mojito, and the featured buckets of sangria. Would recommend!
Had just few beer and a couple of GT. Cant tell about the food experienced. The waiter was quit fun and the overall buzz was great. Nicely located
Nice looking little restaurant, quite a good spot for a cervesa or two, but I wouldnt eat here. There food wasnt good, and it was way overpriced - these types of places must see so much tourist traffic that they dont really give you quality or originality. I guess stop for a bite if you want.. I wouldnt eat there again though. We had a Russian salad (mehand artichoke salad (ok I guess)
A nice tapas place. Very good for a drink in the middle of the day and enjoy the local vibe ☺️
Lovely bar in the centre of Córdoba old town.
Nice food and drink
Nice food and kind waiter although he seems to be a bit stressed with all the orders- some of the dishes were not available @ 13:30 and the tortilla was nice but slightly dry without an additional sauce, some aioli would have been nice with it. Price was absolutely reasonable.
Nice place with great tapas
Good place to stop for a drink, staff is very nice!
Very delicious foods (5 tapas tried in two parts), nice, helpful staff, recommended with love! One of the best foodie places, Ive visited in Spain! ❤️
Great wine, great tapas & great location.
It is a restaurant for Spanish food with average price and service. Food was OK. Waiter took a bit longer to bring us the bill and charge.
Wonderful service, food and ambience!A great little bar in Cordoba :-)
Sells all you typical andalusian dishes. Friendly, speedy service. Oxtail was beautiful. Melt in the mouth.
Fantastic atmosphere
They trick you if you are a tourist so be careful I had a very unpleasant visit when I paid for a ver and a 1 meatball 7 euros. Ridiculously expensive ,I will never come back.
Very good food and not at all expensive. A bit crowded at the weekends.
Small size of plates, expensive beer, mediocre service
Very rude waiter. Spilled half of the glass over me and didnt even say sorry.Almost no alcohol in the cocktail and the food had a rotten taste. Be warned!
Friendly staff good drinks great people watching and for the evening they had heat lamps to keep warm on the cool nights.Safe Travels
Owner skimps on food. We came here twice after having a great experience the first time. Then the owner/manager, instead of the nice server lady, came to serve us. Despite ordering the "full ration" of anchovies, we only received slightly more than the "medium ration" of anchovies. Please avoid - your experience varies based on server.
This is the third time that I have returned to this one pub / bistro / restaurant combo Flamenco background musik dynamics type of place that reminds me of a distant childhood, a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away.I love the interior décor, pine wood wall n barrel bistro table sep up. What intrigued me the most was the early 20th era Córdoba portraits decorating the dining area. I can swear that one of the ladies in the portrait looks like Penélope! And, as a kicker I was able to save all the Flamenco songs played as recognized by my SoundHound app. Hey! If it sounds like lovely lively poetic musik... then, its lively lovely poetic musik!Next time in town, I shall visit my new favorite Spanish hang oat in Córdoba, oh yeah.Salud Córdoba! This place rocks excellent Flamenco musik and the jarra de CruzCampo Gracial and carne de toro special taste absolutely delicious!Salud! Cheeeeers! Prost! Kampai 2020! Eh.Sunny ways my friends! Sunny ways!!!
Traditional food with a touch of modern originality
Dont eat or drink here!
Terrible experience. Food was cold, waiter was rude. We payed for the food we ate halfway through and then left. Dont go here!
dont eat here!! if you like microwave diners you will love of. sadly with so fresh en quality products available they refuse to use them. we got canned mushrooms and canned tomatoe sauce . was very sad about that. and who wants cold mussels? at least put it down on paper so we know. sorry guys but I have no nice words to say. sadly. I usually just give good remarks but you have convinced me otherwise...🤮
I really enjoyed the food here. Recommended!
One of the best Tapas places I visited while in Cordoba. Be aware that it is cash only.
Very rude staff and didnt inform of any menu item so we ended up paying more than we shouldve. Wouldnt go back.
This small bar was the first place my father and I stopped at on our tour of Andalusia in September 17.The staff were like family after only a few days, friendly and helpful.I will be sure to return on my next visit to Cordoba.
Nice tapas and 🍺!!
Good location and tasty salmorejo.
